When I dropped off the van. The gentleman that was there to check us in was not very nice. He was yelling. Put the key on the seat over and over. Could not understand him very well. I was not the only one that he yelled at. And then as he walks away he says something that I I couldn't understand. The people inside were friendly I left upset being yelled at by someone that didn't have any customer service skills

The cargo van was in excellent condition, virtually brand new. The return process was particularly easy and handled by a gentleman named José who was a true pleasure to work with. I'll do business here again.

Hire more employees like Charles Lee. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and he reassured us we would be helped shortly. It seemed like it was a little busy but he was on top of it! Employees with great customer service like Charles are hard to come by. He is the reason I will be coming back to this store in the future and recommending this location to family and friends. I don’t understand why I keep being charged for storages I already made a settlement on? And it’s hard to get in contact with someone at the store. I settled my account in September or October and I have been getting billed every month after that. I don’t want this to go on my credit report. So please fix this error.

Your man, Lee, at this location did a great job of customer service. Despite being pretty busy he got me checked in and out of there in about 15mins. He was professional and personable the whole time with myself and the other customers he was helping as well. In the past my overall experience with UHaul has been mediocre at best. You guys could use more guys like Lee in your line up.

Have some customer service skills! They are tired of their jobs and rude! The truck did not come with a ramp and they said it says that online, but I didn't not order online I spoke to Alex on the phone for a good 20 minutes he never mentioned that. Then when I said it even had the set up got the ramp, he said “well and do you see one there, no!” I said “that's my point!” Then Antonio the “manager” said he'd give me a diffferent truck... we only had one load and was already done... so I asked for a $10 credit (The difference in price between the two trucks) he pretty much told me I was out of luck..... then my receipt was almost $20 more than quoted, so what sounded good $19.99 for the rental and $15 for insurance and Aprox 30 miles turned to $66 then another $20! Almost $90 dollars to go up and down tv highway 4x all in town.... plus NO ramp and attitudes! I've always liked this uhaul in particular, but with these newer unpleasant guys there, I won't be back!

Luckily I carry lysol spray. The inside of my truck was not swept let alone sanitized. Food crumbs on the floor, pens, paper etc. Also ashes in the ash tray from someone smoking. I used lysol on the inside of the truck and made sure to wear my respirator during my drive. The back had standing water and my stuff got wet. My reservations were changed twice including the final change being while I was on my way to the pick up location. The inspect your truck before leaving information did not come through for an hour after I picked my truck up and I was not able to fill it out. The customer service at the counter was excellent otherwise I would have rated only 1 star. Very disappointed in this trip as the pandemic is worse than its ever been.

Experience was sub par, on my return of the motorcycle trailer the Uhaul employee waved me to the return area and I went to the spot he had waved me to where I sat for about three minutes before he returned and yelled at me to go down to the other end of the parking lot like he said... well he didn't say anything like that he just waved me to where he was standing, so I drove towards the exit where I met another employee who then also yelled at me over not backing the trailer into the exact spot that he wanted it in, again no one told me where to go. Overall the trailer worked out and was fine getting it in the beginning was fine, but damn I'm not sure why I was berated when they never told me where to go!

I'm not a fan of using my phone to take a picture of my license when I book the reservation, and I'm not a fan of using my phone to inspect the vehicle at checkout. I have difficulty with taking pictures and uploading them with my phone, which makes these two tasks impossible. I didn't even bother to use my phone at checkout the last time. I had a BIG problem calling the Uhaul office the day I rented the truck to let them know I would be arriving a half hour late. The wait time to speak to a human was estimated to be 15 to 20 minutes! I needed to call the local office, and that was not an option. BOO!

I was told to leave the equipment in a spot that was occupied when i came back i left it in the equipment drop off but becauit was on a slope the very heavy traiymade a beline for your glass doors. I was able to stop itwith my truck bumper but then had to take one of your steps to wedge the tires of the trailer. Itwas nerve wracking. Not a good place to drop off. Better help with instructions is needed. You guys are lucjy I didn't ruin your store

Truck was not clean on the inside. Looked like someone took a dirty cloth and wiped it on every surface. Also, this was not a contact-free pickup. I still had to go inside and get the keys by talking to a person.

The staff is AMAZING, and they give great service. I was upset that I was charged a late fee of $23.99, not knowing that I had to pay right on time. I'd like that to be refunded. Having spent money on vans to move, etc. - I feel I invested a lot to support this crew, and happy to do my part. But disappointed with the inability to reverse the charge.

Do not charge customers a cleaning fee without explanation. I know I cleaned out the truck very well. As a result, the only thing I can conclude is that this location fraudulently charged me for cleaning as a way of making additional money (and scamming the customer). I have tried sending an email to the person that they directed me to on invoice, but have received no response since December 12th email. I had an out of town move scheduled with U-haul for January. Based on my experience and treatment I've cancelled and scheduled with Penske instead.

I read a lot of comments before using this location & many of them were really negative. Overall my interactions went a lot smoother than I thought & I was very pleased. Customer service wasn't rude, but not nice either. They kind of just had that “i hate my job” feel. I did get a call saying my uhaul wasn't checked in a day after I did, so that was scary. But I just emailed them & got it figured out quickly.

Not even three days later when I went to pick up truck and car tow trailer. The entire experience was a S#!T Show. I can't believe you took my money. You should be embarrassed.

The guys at the desk were so nice and helpful. But the guy with the accent in the parking who did the checking out was really rude. In the morning when we checked in, he yelled at us that we were not allowed to park in the customer parking lot. When we checked out in the afternoon, he yelled at me to leave the key in the truck without any further instruction. I left the truck without knowing what I was supposed to do next.

The original location where i did the reservation got changed to this location in the last minute and when i went there to pick the equipment , i was told that the equipment is not available and they asked me to pick it from another location again. However, after having long conversation, i was told that there is another cargo van that they can confirm for me or I have to reschedule. So, i asked them to confirm that and in meanwhile there was a return for 10 ft truck for which i had the original reservation and when i checked with them on if i can get that , i was told that it is already reserved.Finally took the cargo van.

The owner Bob was very helpful. We had a very rough move from Phoenix with equipment issues and changes that no one could control. I was very upset at the situation and was rude to say the least. Bob worked with me and calmed my concerns. I am thankful he took the time to help me even though he was dealing with several other issues himself. Thank you for the understanding and I will be using his location for any of my upcoming rental needs.

I feel the advertised $19.95 pick-up or van rental is misleading and false advertising. The only way to get the $19.95 rate is to rent the vehicle, but never drive it off the lot. I was "forced" to rent a pick-up when all I wanted was to rent a tow dolly. Instead of the rental costing $44.95, it cost $188.85 - by adding a $19.95 per day pick-up rental. AND, we returned the pick-up and tow dolly after only 10 hours of use, and yet the charge was for 24 hours. I did not have any choice or option once UHaul refused to rent just the tow dolly . . . All customers have to basically complete all of the work themselves, including uploading the driver's license, and checking out and back in. When the pick-up did not show the mileage, I asked the lot attendant - he was quite rude and unfriendly. I think the same attendance must have been there when we returned the pick-up, because we were treated just as poorly as in the morning. A little kindness goes a long way - and that was lacking in the interactions with the lot attendant. Overall, I didn't have an option. The vehicle I needed to move would not start, and it would not have been safe to tow it 100 miles using a tow chain. It just don't feel it should have cost what it did.

--DO NOT RECOMMEND-- I almost never write a review unless required but I feel the need to warn others about the Uhaul location off of TV Hway (Aloha, Beaverton). It took me almost an hour just to book a van from that location and although the rep had a professional manner, he did not tell me anything about checking in when returning the vehicle except for parking the van back in the U-shaped drive through when returning, dropping off the key into the box right outside his office, and not parking my car in the parking lot but on the street or else it would be towed. My kids were screaming at home both when I rented the van and when I returned it so mind you, I did not have the right mindset to re-read the contract and looked for the part where it said something about the $20 fee if I failed to "check in" online after retuning the van and key. To this day I don't even know where in the contract stated that. I checked my email the next day just to receive a receipt from Uhaul with a bunch of extra charges that made my original bill almost double! I was also charged for failing to fuel the tank up to where it was supposed to be. The rep said to return it to about the 7/8 line and I made a note of that on my phone. To be extra careful, I did take a picture of where it was originally for proof right before dispatching because it was NOT at 7/8. But that doesn't matter. I still made sure to filled it up at least 7/8 when returning the vehicle. I remember feeling like a dummy for filling it up MORE than what they gave me but I was like "Oh well, that's ok!", but no, the rep charged me 1.5 gallon more because it was somehow below expected (which is absolutely not true!). I called them and they said they'd get back to me right away. No call. I emailed them at the customer email provided. Nothing! You'd think a big company like Uhaul would treat their customers better. Bring your business somewhere else unless you'd want to be charged for outrageous charges and have your hard earned money thrown out the window!

The trick was filthy, below gas level notated and alignment was off from 10-2 to 2-9. I called the manager right away and he was absolutely wonderful with handling the situation. I'd give 5 stars for him If I could!

So after the start of my move was screwed up I further had the pleasure of someone from this location calling to say I was late to return my truck - which to my knowledge I was not - I believe my return time was not entered correctly by the person I spoke to at my original pick up location who said they were changing my reservation the the Franklin Blvd location - I don't know - all I know is that my move started off terrible due to whomever made the error that resulted in my truck not being ready on time then ended with this jerk calling from the drop off location to chew me out because he said I was late returning instead of allowing me to explain or looking into the matter further to see if maybe there was an error. Then when I went to drop the truck off and attempted to use the app some guy came running up and got in the truck didn't say who he was or explain he was checking it in - overall this was just a horrible experience - thanks for making my move hell from start to finish.

I had to drive an extra 44 miles from molalla to beaverton to pick up my car dolly/ they had one in molalla? i dont know why it was set up that way? i was charged for miles overage i think the 44 miles from both u hauls should be deducted from ther obverage.The molalla store was very helpful the beaverton store was not! the outside employee was rude and the car dolly was missing a lug nut and 3 were loose! i had to toghten them to stop the noise it was making.

All info was entered online including credit card. Then had to go thru too much when in the store. Should not have to use my phone to process info. It would be much more user friendly to have the employee take the photo of license, (re)run the credit card, etc - they know the process. While standing in line other customers had to ask questions on the steps to do the things on their phone. The employees get frustrated having to continually explain to each customer and the customer gets frustrated because they have to learn how to do it. Get rid of the emergency number. Had to give 4 different peoples phone numbers before finally had one that would answer or indentify themselves on voice mail. Felt like there was no trust. I understand people probably abuse rental trucks but it should not be assumed everyone does. I cleaned the truck better than when I got it and put more gas in then when I started. To instill a positive enviroment could consider rewarding people for caring for the vehicle. For eample, instead of a cleaning fee that is added to the charge than refunded. They had my card info, the contract could say $25 will be added to the card if dirty and the customer would agree when signing the contract. Don't like the after-the-fact check out procedure. I was told the truck would be gone over and they will send me the close out document. If I got home and my bill showed added cost for whatever I would have no way to disagree or contest it. Too many texts and emails just to rent a truck. Whole process needs to be smoother, simpler and easier since moving is stressful and hard enough as it is. I rated the location as I did not because of the people but because of the process. Had one employee who was great and another not so great. I used to like U-haul, especially being it started in the NW. To hard to work with U-Haul.

I arrived and tried to explain that I did not ask for the hand truck, moving dolly or blankets and the representative at check-in shouted at me, demanding I fold the blankets or there would be a charge. I tried again to let him know but he kept yelling and didn't seem to understand me. I went inside and informed someone at the front desk of what was going on. They seemed unsurprised at the actions of their fellow employee, muttered into a device to say not to charge for the extras and told me I was free to go. A huge difference from my return here last week, which was way more pleasant.

Instead of electronic check-out, the outside receiver sent me into the office to check-out. This office was also understaffed and the wait was long. Then, after told I was good to go, they apparently didn't check-in the trailer I returned because I got a call the next day asking when I was going to return the trailer. I explained that I had indeed returned the trailer on time and that had not received an receipt. I was sent the receipt electronically later that same day.

The truck was not prepared for my reservation. It had someone's lunch in it, tacos and old pop bottles. The bag was soaked with greaSe and had ripped leaving onions on seat (stinky) and then it had a flat tire before I could even put it in gear.

The staff at the Beaverton facility on TV Hwy are great people; very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Even with all the smoke and the natural stress patrons bring with them, the staff was able to retain their sense of humor and helpfulness. The storage unit was clean, very secure, and easy to access. I appreciate the tall ceilings! Thank you U-Haul!

only issue I had. I had waited 30 minutes in line to get a truck and rentva unit. The guy stated I could fill out paperwork when I returned truck. I assumed my storage unit was in the system, so upon my return I could place my items in unit. I was not given my code, upon return I had to wait another 20 minutes in line to finish getting the unit, in which was never put in system upon my first visit and the unit was not placed on hold and was unavailable. The second time waiting in line was my issue.

I really liked that I could rent via mobile device and after hours, since the move was unplanned. However, I was supposed to receive the first month free with the rental of a vehicle. There was no way to apply the free month via online. There is no way to contact the storage office directly (I must call and wait on hold from 20 min to 1hr+) and have yet to receive assistance with this 3 weeks after the move-in. Also, the access wasn't clear, and we we're locked out of the facility after hours the first time we arrived (because 2 vehicles entered using our code, which "logged us out"). We had to call an after hours line, leave a message, and wait 30 min for someone to show up only to tell us that we could have walked outside the gate and enabled our code again. If there was a usable FAQ or chat feature, and if I could actually reach a human at the rental location, this would be much better.

Understaffed and the staff who are there don’t respect client’s time. Each time I have gone in, I have waited nearly half an hour to get service, been treated like an inconvenience, and the office staff are very disorganized. No one ever answers the phone either. Do better.

I dropped a rental truck at this location as well as renting a storage unit. The process with the storage unit went well and there were no issues. I however have an issue with the rental return. I picked up a 15 foot truck in Medford Oregon on Saturday June 27th. When I picked up the truck it was very low on gas and I asked the attendance what is the process for fueling. I was told to return the truck with the same amount of gas as when I picked it up. I returned the truck with the exact amount of gas to the Beaverton location but then last night got a bill for $54 in fuel charges. I called the store and was told they will look into it. I am not sure why I was charged for fuel when I returned it exactly the same amount of fuel as I picked it up with. I think this is taking advantage of customers and a sneaky way to get some additional money from the customer. I will certainly dispute this charge if a credit is not give to my account. This is no way to treat a customer.

The staff were very loud so it was hard to hear to process my reservation. Besides that, my reservation was lost and had to be created which took much longer than expected. The paperwork there is duplicative and wasteful. Why can't the storage contract be emailed? Why did I have to fill out my insurance information twice? These seem to be mostly systemic issues and not the fault of the particular location.

other than very long wait times in office lines to pick up the truck/van and arrange for storage, getting from california to oregon with a 15' foot, returning it, and then putting stuff in storage was a breeze. next day, picked up a 10' van to transport from storage into a condo. HOWEVER, was not informed needed to provide home owners insurance coverage information for storage and that would have been helpful to know when reserving.

There were only 2 Uhaul employees behind the counter at 3:30 on a Sunday. Also the 1st day of the month. The line was out the door. I was told the gentleman was going to put a lock on my empty storage unit and then I could leave. He never came back. 10 minutes later someone else finished the transaction but only by telling me he would send me and email.

Go someplace else. Take pictures before & after renting a vehicle or move into storage. So when they try to charge you bogus fees you can get them removed. Be persistent, use the 800 cust service #.
