The general manager Brock was very military throughout my check in. He went through the process very fast and robotic. I had to ask him to slow down and repeat what he said about the gas as if he was reading from a script. I asked him twice to make sure I had a utility and furniture dolly included. He made little to no acknowledgement of the requests as he was hurrying through the check in. I grabbed my truck and ubox then headed home to find out that he did not include them with my truck rental. Unfortunately I had movers already at my home to load up the ubox and were paid by the hour so I couldn't spend time going back to the rental place to get the dolly's. I called the uhaul phone number that I thought was to the site location that I rented from but both times it was routed to a different location and they had to send Brock a message to call me back. Brock did call me about about 2 hours later to tell me that he would refund me the cost of the dolly's or I can come by and grab them. First thing is, there was no acknowledgement for the tremendous inconvenience this caused. Two. No apology or genuine care about the hassle. Three. I asked if he could swing by to bring the dollys to me because it wasn't my fault they weren't included and it was a tremendous inconvenience for me to pick them up - which he coldly said no he couldn't and that was completely out of the question and that was that. Four. I had to ask him if I did come back to grab the dolly's in the truck I rented that it would accrue more miles that I had originally planned and paid for ... if he would refund me the miles it would take to come and get them. He said yes. But why did I have to ask for that and why didnt he provide that option to me for his mistake? Again, very true to the interaction I had with him at check in, it was cold and transactional. It seemed as if he had military training and he lost touch with human interaction especially with care and concern for his customers. I ended up never getting the dolly's because of time and my fiance and the movers had to carry everything by hand up and down the stairs including furniture and heavy boxes that would have been much easier if I had the two dolly's I asked for twice. Also when Brock was done with me, he asked him I had any questions, but i still didnt know where to park my car, if I needed to supply my own locks for the uboxes or anything which I had to ask about because it wasn't forthcoming on the check in. I felt like it was a rushed check in because they were a little busy and then mistakes happened which was unfortunate for me and my experience overall. Good experience was of Jeffery he was a tremendous help with my ubox drop off and pick up each time ( I rented 3 uboxes and a pick up truck to haul). He is also the agent who I reserved my uboxes with in the beginning and provided me with all the options and different scenarios to get my home moved across country). The original mileage was higher that the reading when I got there so no one really knew what to do. I was held up there for 30-45 minutes because of it, which originated with Ms Bad Attitude most likely.

I rent trailers regularly; everyone at that location is great except one person. On at least two recent occasions there is one particular yard person that treats me poorly, he has been there a long time; I believe he discriminates against people of my race. I have learned others have the same problem with that person also. Eventually I will start renting from the Home Depot I pass on my way to your U-haul.

24/7 application seemed worthless to the customer. Didn't save time, but I do see where it saved U-Haul in personnel costs. I also didn't having me location changed. It increased my charges by 40% due to the increased mileage. Based on this experience I wouldn't recommend U-Haul. Prior experiences were acceptable.

This location is the worst of all the locations I have been to,and I have been to many. First, the truck had a problem with the ignition key and the brakes. Then the guy that recurved the truck was very rude and a true scammer. He started by saying that I will be charged for two days because I was late and I should've brought the truck back by 11 am and when I said that I checked the truck at 1 on then he simply said ok then one day without apologising for his mistake. Then he mention something about the gas where I returned the truck with at least 4 gals more .. then he opens the back of the truck and says he's going to charge $25 for a cleaning fee and points to the sign so I said that I have swept it and he rudely asks me to place my finger on the truck floor then had the nerve to say that I need to hide the truck if I don't want to be charged. Luckily for him I was tired and was not in the mood to pick a fight. Anyway...a very bad experience and I don't promise that I will use u haul again. Sam Nordin 714 473 3766

I do not usually respond to surveys. The staff at 14225 TV hwy were very busy, normal for when I have been there. But they have a calm and positive outlook, like a old-time hardware store. That makes it easier to wait your turn. However, I expected faster turn-around time with 2018 technology. You are still my first choice.

The guy who took our uhaul in wanted to charge us a full day for being :20 mins late. We spoke to a lady on the phone to ask if it would be ok. She was nice, the guy inside nice, but the guy who took our uhaul in wasn’t nice.

The person at the counter was not very welcoming and was on the phone with another customer while helping me. I understand that things get busy but I found this very rude. I was asking him questions and he didn’t hear me I guess because he was listening to someone else. OR I had to ask multiple times to get his attention. I didn’t think he was personally a rude person, but I don’t think that’s a very good business model and I would change that. Hire someone to work the phones.

I worked for uhaul in the past so I knew the routine. The young lady helping me was really great. She was very well knowledges and didn’t forget anything. I was extremely happy as the move it’s self was a nightmare except for the renting of this particular truck. 5 stars ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? all the way

Guy who I dropped the truck off with said I was not at 1/4 a tank I was JUST under the line. It was touching one end but hadn't crossed over the 1/4 line.... $33 for gas to make it hit the line. That's insane. All the guy could show me was a ap that said $33 owed... Didn't say for how much gas or anything. I 100% feel taken advantage of and will never is uhal again. Which is sad. Because that's all I've ever used before. Guess it's home Depot trucks and trailers now.
