It seems most of the vehicles the glove box doesn’t get cleaned out we find fast food trash, receipts etc in them

RAFAEL MWe had made our reservation at the uhaul at 2400 1st ave s in seattle. I have the reservation confirmation but the woman I dealt with was horrible. I even triple checked because I could tell this location might be a night mare. We went to pickup and we're told or reservation was in burien. We made the reservation in seattle for mileage. The lady denied making the reservation and then acknowledged she was the one that made the reservation. No apologies just $30 in additional mileage and an hour wasted. I will never use your service again. Keanon at your Burien location was excellent.
RICHARD HIt was my fault that I did not inspect the vehicle before I left UHAUL. The rear lights on the vehicle were not operational at night. Plus the headlights were so dim, even in the bright light function, I could barely see the road. Again my fault for not inspecting the vehicle. I informed the dealer.

MATEJ SThe associate at this location has a very sour attitude and was rude to both myself and a friend of mine who rented a truck the day prior to my appointment. They would cut me off in the middle of a sentence, never spoke clearly, was generally unhelpful, and did not include the blankets from my initial online request. They were rude to the other customer in the store renting a truck at the same time as me, whose driver door handle was punched out and the associate told the customer to just use the passenger door. They had a generally disenchanted disposition, and every person I saw or heard them interact with received the same treatment. I wouldn't recommend anyone come to this location, unless they have a seriously high threshold for tolerance and patience
SARAH CInside of the windshield was dirty, no washer fluid in the truck, and gas tank was only 3/4 full. Staff had to get a new trailer hitch. Reservations are very hard to make. I live on Vashon had had to go to the mainland to get a pickup truck, and there are never car trailers on the island. This adds $100 to each use to get the trailer on the island. Trying to find a location with a truck and trailer on the days I needed was imposable and the on-line reservation system really is not usable, so I ended up using a friend's trailer instead of renting one. I won't be using U-Haul again unless the equipment I need is available ON VASHON ISLAND. It wastes several hours and $100- to get equipment on the mainland. The Pickup they had was taken in for maintenance and they were told they would not be getting a pickup truck to replace it. This is just BAD BUSNESS. I rated this location as Above Average only because of how bad the one that is closer to me has always been.
LINCOLN Sthe truck broke down less than 5 mile from pick up lost the first day waiting for it to get towed to drop off had to pay for a second day to unload and got over 30 calls up to and as late as 2 am and had to be towed to and from destination was very unhappy and never got back to me on my complaint about truck call me at 2532233256

alessandra aSeveral things went wrong with this transaction. It took a little bit to get the truck as the person renting them was confused where keys were. Once we received the truck, we drove it to our location only to find that they did not give us the key to the lock on the back door. This was very frustrating as we had to drive back to get it. Once the truck was returned later that day, they charged us for our gas being lower than it was when we rented, even though we purposely stopped at a gas station to fill it up. They also said they had to clean dirt out of the back, which is not true. They provided no pictures to us for proof of anything (as required per your agreement) and just charged us a ridiculous amount of money. We reported this to the manager who was supposed to call us back. We did get 1 call and he left me a vm. I then returned the call back to him and got VM. Then no return call after that. I tried again and got sent over to general customer service. I gave up calling because I stay very busy and can't continue calling when someone should have called me back. It's very sad because we have rented from this location in the past. We are a local church and do a lot of things in our community, but this was very disappointing that we were so grossly overcharged and had no resolution. unfortunately we will not be back unless things get resolved. JAMES BVan was throwing alerts the whole time for oil change and tire pressure sensor error. Sticker on window confirmed it was more than 2k miles past due for an oil change. Had to jam on brakes. Vehicle only had 14k miles on it but felt like 140k. Will not be renting from this location again. Only good part was employee, who was nice.

RICHARD SThe online check in is terrible. You can't start the check in until you are at the store. Then it asks you to for your drivers liscence (fine), then it asks for a 2nd id. Who brings there passport or a lease statment to pick up a u haul. This should all be saked for when you first reserve the rental.

I visited the location a few times for my storage, and one of my employees is annoyingly incompetent. The main office was being renovated, so a bunch of customers were standing outside, and the incompetent employee walked by us a couple of times and never let us know we had to check-in at the garage, which would've saved the customers several minutes of waiting for nothing. To the employee's credit, how can you expect more out of him when his own management can't even make signs to tell customers where to go. Secondly, when I got unit 337, I saw that the vent had been ripped off with a screwdriver so that some junky could reach their hand in to grab stuff to steal and pawn for heroin. I was assured that the location's management would patch the vent up so that my storage unit would be secure. After storing my belongings at this location for almost two months, management never patched up the vent. Luckily, nothing was stolen.

I was under the impression that these units were part of a bigger building, so that was a little unsettling especially because of the crime in this area. The only other complaint I have it not being able to reach ANYONE at U-haul on the phone. Your online system works great and I'm thankful that it all worked out. But not be able to ask a person a question before hand was a little unnerving.

They had no idea how to handle an upset customer (me) when I came in after my unit had been broken into. They need more support there. All they did was look uncomfortable and shrug their shoulders.Whoever the woman was that proactively reached out to me and finalized my move out was especially helpful the past few times I was there. I wish I knew her name. As far as the facilities, they are are dirty and stinky and messy. I wished we had moved out sooner.
