The only issue is space. The staff did a great job trying to minimize congestion with equipment moves etc. Overall I wouldnt hesitate to rent from this location if the call arises.

It seemed a bit slow when I went in of course I was late and they canceled my rental so anyway I gor it done early didn't use any of the add ons. Unsure If I got any credit but oh well moved all my stuff in a remarkable time

Customers can't find parking, the lot's too small, the gentleman that helped me was very nice. I had rented an auto transport and a 26ft truck. The auto transport lights did not work, the gentleman that was helping me stated that he will get a technician out to my house to repair the lights. He sent me on my way to my house with the auto transport connected to the 26ft truck knowing there's an issue with the lights. I was loading all day and no one showed up to repair the lights. I drove from Portland to Turlock CA with a non-working Auto transport at night. I did not have time to wait, due to my living situation I had to leave Portland. As a long time customer, I felt like I was lied to and I am considering about going with another provider for my next move.

The people in charge of the "traffic calls" are not helpful at all. I made a reservation to pick up my trailer near Edmonton AB, in Canada. I drove for two days from Oregon. Upon my arrival in Canada I was informed that my reservation was cancelled without notice their excuse was because "some equipment is own locally and can't be rented one way". I was disappointed with their support in fact they told me to call back the next day. I called UHAUL right away using the Spanish line and someone was able to find me another trailer imediately. I will never do business at UHAUL again.

I rent from U-Haul very often for my business. I've rented from many locations but this one on Foster is hands down the best overall. From consistent customer service to well maintained vehicles this is your place. I will go out of my way and pay for more miles just to rent from here.

I use this U-Haul location fairly regularly these days. I very much like the service that I get there, and their equipment is always in well maintained shape. However, I would like to vent about the damn website. It sucks. Big time! I've tried self check in, I've tried reserving ahead of time, I've tried returning a vehicle after hours. The app and website absolutely take too much time and I've never had a successful result. I waste my time using it. I go into this particular location and tell them I want a truck and I have a truck Without a reservation. I am not gonna waste my time on the website anymore.

Ronald was super personable and incredibly helpful when I rented a trailer from this location. He was busy, but he was dedicated to making sure I was able to get on safely with the right ball hitch when I realised I'd forgotten mine. Ronald was also very helpful in getting the trailer hooked up to my car and making sure it was roadworthy. I really appreciated the service here

All I needed was the floor space to transport my toys from one church to another. The 26" foot had the perfect room for that. The person behind the U-Haul counter was friendly and quick. I Appreciated that.. good job U-Haul good job.

You will be charge $7 when you remove hand truck for using it. I told them because the cargo is large we remove the hand truck without using it. They won't charge us for to remove it.

only thing I would note is - when I picked up the trailer, the guy at the desk came out with me to my vehicle and hooked the trailer up for me, and tested that the lights worked with me. When I brought it back, I waited at the sign that said "Stop and wait with your equipment until you are helped -" they were busy, there were about four other people in the office ahead of me, but I never got any kind of acknowledgement or instruction from the employee at the desk. Finally, after I watched the last customer walk out, I poked my head inside - and when I asked, he told me I could just unhook the trailer myself and leave it there. That would have been nice to know when I pulled up half an hour ago - if it's really okay to drop off a trailer without interaction with the staff inside, then the sign posted at the equipment drop off area should reflect that.

The staff member at the storage facility on Foster road and 88th was helpful in getting my unit set up for me. The process took longer than it should have given I already reserved it online. The second time I came to access the storage unit the whole building smelled like cat urine. I was concerned there may be residual smell within my unit and on my belongings. When I came to remove all of my belongings at the beginning of the month in September everything was in order and nothing smelled of cat urine. This was a blessing. Thanks

Customer service is great. Truck was dirty with trash in the cab and in the back of it. The visors kept falling out of the headliner while I was driving almost causing 2 accidents (blocking my view while driving) I returned it cleaner than what I got it and 1/4 tank more gas tan I got it. And still overcharged for things. Will not rent uhaul ever again.

It's minor and nitpicky but when I went into the store, there was a rather large maze of new flat boxes on the floor. I found it somewhat off putting that right when I open the main door, I had to navigate through this maze of boxes to get to the point of sale. I realize the floor space is small here and boxes are probably good revenue for the brand but I wonder if this could be better streamlined both for box sales as well as POS access? Does UHaul require that 100+ of each box size need to be accessible to customers? Can this be reduced and perhaps boxes can be stored in a vertical positioned rack along a wall? With so many stacked boxes in different positions along the floor, it makes for a staggered pathway that felt somewhat claustrophobic when at the counter. I never felt unsafe, however I can imagine that anxious shorter customers may not feel the same. May potentially be seen as a fire hazard due to lack of clear egress from counter to main doors. UPS Stores sell boxes and I never see them stacked on the floors like this, however my guess is that UHaul sales volume may dictate the need for avail quantity to the customer. ? Staff was VERY professional, easy to work with and very helpful with my short term dolly rental. They also were diligent regarding safety of equipment and processed my rental efficiently and orderly with kindness. I would recommend this location as it has a dedicated lot for equipment rentals that's easy to navigate for pickup and returns.

I don't even know what to say. Maybe I was there on an off day? Initially they said they didn't have my reservation, but when I pulled out my phone and showed they were then able to find it. Checking the vehicle out took almost an hour, similar time checking the vehicle in. Don't know why staffing wasn't better on Labor Day weekend? Another customer there had a reservation and they weren't going to have the equipment until 45 minutes after his reservation. The amount of gas in the vehicle vs paperwork was different, so had to double back in. staff complained about homeless people stealing fuel. Said that only the manager could comp the gentleman and that the manager had already gone home at 2pm. Lots of issues with connectivity to their various tools. UHaul prices have also gotten outrageous, which is of course not the location or staff's fault. But overall staff didn't seem like they had the techonological tools nor the training & empowerment to serve customers well.

We booked for 15' foot box truck, but on day of picking up the box truck wasn't available. There was nothing the sales associate could offer other than smaller truck. No discount or incentive. Its very disappointing a uhual can't deliver as promised.

They charge me for two days and they denied it. I'm still waiting for a partial refund but again they denied it. They had to call me three times to find out where I was dropping off at the location when I confirm the location drop off when I rented the U-Haul. I've been to this place many of times to rent from them and never had a problem until now. I will never rent from U-Haul again and I will not recommend them to anybody ever again because I feel like they took advantage of me and again, I'm still waiting for my partial refund. They charge me way more than what they ever charge me before and it's unacceptable, and they tried to tell me they didn't and I didn't realize it until I got my online receipt and again I'm still waiting for my partial credit when it should've been done a week ago when I rented the U-Haul and I made them aware of the overcharge, but again they tried to deny it.

I've rented dozens of trucks over the years and the friendly service at this location has been excellent every time. The staff are consistently knowledgeable, professional, fast, and helpful. Fun fact: This location is the "Retail Birthplace of Uhaul" look for the historical marker!

The mechanism that prevents the threaded knob on the hitch was damaged in such a way that the knob would have easily rattled loose on the highway. The spring loaded mechanism was prevented from doing its job because of a protective shield in front of it that had been damaged. I had to disconnect the trailer after it was installed on my car and when I reinstalled it I didn't notice the issue. I noticed it at a gas station near the Powell U-Haul location so I took it there and they had to use a crow bar to bend the protective shield out of the way of the retention mechanism. Then I had to drive 700 miles hoping it wouldn't fail and kill someone. I regularly checked the mechanism throughout the drive and it continued to work. An employee named T at the Powell location was extremely helpful and absolutely deserves the credit for resolving this issue. He deserves a raise.

I am left without access to my storage facility, that was confirmed with access codes, times, etc and even payment. With confirmation and entry instead well as lock location. After an all day move and very sick baby the night before, I had help and people to help me unload and then I was to be on a flight, for a sick family member. With condo with return at 7pm on 12/10:23, e-mail confirmed too. Unable to access I then had/have a full UhAul, no access to my storage, a sick baby and a flight to catch. After several attempts to GM, through customer service attempts, no luck. I spoke with 3 reps, no one is able to help me? Really? Then told something completely different then my reservation and confirmation. Not to mention you're charging me for something completely out of my control, against everything I did and was expecting from this "streamlined"'process, that I was assured should be smooth and to follow the entry instructions. I am huge on customer service and tonight is the worst experience I've had, with any give. Company. We shall see how my luck goes tomorrow.

Jeremy was great. I called originally to clarify my reservation. He had tremendous customer service inside and outside the store. Nice young man. Also, Ron the manager gave me a great deal on my storage. Drop off was quick hold and convenient. Didn't get the young man's name but polite and pleasant. ( Shiah) I believe !

The security box to check in closest to my unit was broken for probably half the time I rented this storage unit. Parking is a nightmare. Tons of homeless camps surrounding the building.

In August I went into the store to pay my storage payment in cash. After doing so I was told I couldn't get a receipt as the printer was down but they would email it to me right away. I never got it and the staff told me I had never been there and paid. After a prolonged hassle I had to pay my approx 185 payment again which I did and then moved out. I could not be more unhappy with the dishonest staff at this facility.

I was so pleased with my experience. The staff at the Foster location had the best customer service! I also spoke with a representative by phone who was so great and helpful. I have rented from U-Haul before and never had any issues. The storage facility was clean and convenient.

There was water damage due to the unit directly behind the one I was renting. All of my boxes were moldy. I have pictures to back up my situation. The manager made a big deal about fiiing a claim. I'm okay not filing a claim after cleaning everything there wasn't any damage to my items I stored. I have made several attempts to contact the location to no avail. I also called customer service which went no where. All I would like is to be given new boxes since I've had to replace all of mine. I'm not expecting the boxes not sure you should ever expect me to be a customer again.

Hands down the WORST moving experience of my life. An employee stole my partner's wallet and we saw it all on security footage. The GM then blamed us for leaving the wallet behind. If that wasn't bad enough the actual storage unit was DISGUSTING. All of our stuff smells like chemicals and it was only there two months. I would avoid this place at all costs.

It seems short-staffed at the end of and beginningnof the month. The staff have to really hustle, dealing with lines of customers, issues with moving trucks/vans, stressed-out customers. As an educator, I view this as a difficult work environment for staff. Part of what they do is educate the public on the trucks, storage, policies, etc., as well as solve problems. They do the best they can, but you need to staff the office with more people during peak times.I've found them to be extremely helpful and kind, but the stress they work under is obvious to any customer walking in the door. That does not reflect on them, it reflects on management. I hope these observations are helpful.

Had the greatest experience at your facility located on Foster Rd. The General Manager, Willie Landingin Jr. worked with me on a prorated payment, as the monthly payment came out less than a week prior. My step-son had a similar situation at another storage facility, and they just flat out refused to help him or work with him. That's exactly why I will always do business with U-haul. Your customer service is always above and beyond. Thank you again, Willie!

Fastest move into a storage unit ever. Quick and easy. Unit was easy to access from car. Cart was readily available. No line to counter, employees were friendly and helpful.

I was not happy that my rent went up $5 in a year. I was definitely not told that there would be an increase. Also, there was some mouse poop on my things.

I reserved a u move box not a room and i went to pick it up and they said i had a storage unit reserved ruined my weeked he promised my card wouldnt be charged unhappy!! Ruined my weekend and move
