We did not have a great experience here on the day we went to clear my TWO storages! We picked a truck up at this same location. We waited at least an hour for available equipment to move our things! Because of this our move time was off as well. Then while clearing our first storage, my son's RED IPhone 12 slid under another storage unit! This was on Sunday Oct. 3, 21 before 11 AM. Today is Oct 4,21 after 4:00pm and no one has solved his phone being recovered. Even AFTER a worker, Francisco tried to looke underneath, & over the unit my son pointed out to him, saw the phone, made a 1/2 attempt to get the phone. The manager was talked to in person this morning 10/4/21 by my family & promised to call the people of the storage & get them to come in & produce the phone. This still hasn't happened over 24 hours later! The same employee, â€œFranciscoâ€ later the same evening AFTER seeing us leave the yard clearing the second storage, close too 4:00pm & me or a family member checking in the office several times, due to telling them we cleared the storage & begging for â€œcartsâ€, in which the employees claimed they had been stolen so they were short handed. Francisco called me TWENTY minutes after I drove off & I had just called him at 4:10pm for my son's phone status. He hollered at me rudely about returning the truck , â€œASAP, I have someone waiting to rent the truck, I need it nowâ€!! I told him to just charge me because I wasn't done yet, I hadn't left the lot longer then 20 minutes. This was because I literally moved right down the street from the Uhaul! I called CUSTOMER SERVICE twice on 10/4/21. I called on 10/5/21 & was told I would her from the manager about my son's phone & I still haven't. Also we were charged a full month's rent on a storage we cleared on 10/3/21. This whole experience have been dehumanizing. I plan to contact the authorities next concerning retrieving my son's property. Sad experience.MASHAKII R.

Didn't enjoy signing a contract to later meaning two years later to be notified that the rates were changing for all customer's. I felt as though that should have taken affect for new customers seeing I had already been there two years. Francisco goes above and beyond for her customers. Whenever there would be an issue, she would be on the phone even if it were after hours to get it resolved. I remember being so amazed at one point throughout my stay because my black was jammed and I could not figure out why the keys wouldn't go. She was so experienced and came up with her power tools and had to drill it open. She was busy but knew it important for me to get to my belongings that day. She had staff handle everyone else and came up too quickly help me out. Over the past 3 years I have use this facility over and over just because of Francisca and her staff customer service. She trains them very well. This storage location is out of the vicinity where I moved, but I drive the extra 30 minutes to use them.christina s. | Expérience générale

The gas mileage was not accurate it was not at a half a tank like you guys say it was and I think I got charged when I bring it back and it wasn't at a half a tank but I got pictures and I also dispute it so I should not have been charge. We rented a U-Haul at a different location and rented a dolly and furniture pads and the U-Haul did not have the equipment so we had to come to this location. I would say that if someone makes a reservation make sure the U-Haul has the equipment rented.David M.

It was a great experience never had any problems the staff was always friendly and knowledgeable. Uhaul as a company rates are what made me leave. Uhaul the company may need to evaluate that ir they will loose a lot of customers. But sure will recommend them if thays what people want to do. I called to reserve the truck at the location near 63rd Rockwell. When I got there at 7am to pick up the truck the office it wasn't open , So I called the location on 61st Kedize and was told my reservation was at the location. ,I HAD TO WALK TO THE OTHER LOCATION , I WAS NOT INFORMED THE LOCATIONS WAS CHANGED ,I GOT DROPPED OFF ON 63rd . I got charged a late fee and should not have. I have 24hrs on the rental and I told them I needed longer the the 4 hrs I stated before. The branch said ok but never said it would be a late fee. Its crazy how you can charge a customer for being late and he has 24hrs on a 19,99 rental. I will be calling my bank to dispute this charge for sure. Not exceptable for a first experience.DECHAUMA W.

Not accuse your customers of not returning keys and rental truck. my rental was returned before my actual return time. Clearly you guys didn't check the lock box for the keys prior to calling me. All you guys had to do was look in the lot and you could see clear as day that the rental was returned to its original spot. This is unacceptable.EUGENE H.

My towe dolly wasn't hooked up properly. I could have been killed or other over the road drivers had my car came off the dolly. I have pictures of how my car shifted on the dolly in the process of transport.Xavier M.

I reserved equipment 2 weeks in advance to be picked up at a location just a mile away from my house. THE DAY BEFORE I MOVED I was told I would need to pickup the truck from a location 16 miles away - ok, not so bad right? I asked for additional mileage on my reservation, which I was told had been added. When I left the next morning, I found that the location was actually 30 MILES AWAY, meaning I had to spend more time getting to/from my destination as well as a spending a significant amount more money in gas for my own car and the truck. When I arrived at the Chicago location, I wanted to confirm that mileage had been added to my reservation and that there wouldn't be extra charges - it turns out this had not been done. The customer representative informed me that I would have been charged had I not mentioned this. She was very helpful and added the mileage to my reservation at no charge. What can you do to improve? If I book a reservation 2 weeks in advance, confirm the location pickup/dropoff sooner instead of waiting til the day before the move. Also, update reservations as discussed with customers. I feel that I should have received a partial refund due to these inconveniences and additional costs, but none was ever offered nor did anybody apologize for the issues.Jordan M.
