The store was closed when I dropped the truck off. Where the store is located, there are a lot of homeless people who have access to any of the rental equipment and I don't agree that I am still responsible for the truck that I rented until someone checks it in the following day.

First the location needs to be moved because it t sits right in the middle of all the homeless and drug users don't feel safe there. 2nd maybe the employees that work should do a better job checking things in and out, when I got the vehicle it had less than a half tank of gas closer to 3/8 when I returned it there was over a half tank and I still got charged for gas at $6 a gallon. Finally I had requested 36 moving blankets when I get there they had none available but they had a whole stack in sealed bags. Not a way to run a business.

The truck had broken pieces (window lever, windshield wipers, gas cap housing) and smelled like cigarettes. The steering wheel was worn and sticky. The gas was really low. The back hadn't been blown out before I received it. And the mobile app wouldn't let me check the truck in after hours.

Nothing wrong with your equipment or staff, the service level was excellent but the location is terrible because the area is completely overrun with homeless people. I seriously saw a woman drop her pants & poop on the sidewalk right in front of my vehicle. If not for the homeless I would rate this location 5 stars.

Location did not offer a military discount. This should be a company policy to do so/not to do so. I would not return to this location again since they will not give it when other locations do. Also, there was an issue with my account and I had to call a 1-877 while I was at the rental faculty to resolve the issue before they would rent to me. The call wait time was 30 minutes. I finally got to someone after 20 minutes, only for that person to be very unresponsive and I was scared she hung up on me (which I would have been very upset to have to wait another 20 minutes to reach someone again). Turns out, I had already paid a late fee for returning a trailer one day late several months ago, and there was no issue at all. Wasted a lot of time on a day that was already stressful.

My drop off was speedy and safe. Nina did a very professional job disconnecting my trailer in a safe area even though several customers were arriving or departing. This is my third time dropping off 12'x6' trailers at this same location while moving to Spokane from Portland - always a good experience with friendly employees.

The manager was very kind and helpful. It was very difficult going down the stairs when the lights are on a timer and you are carrying things and the lights suddenly turn off and your hands are full so you're unable to carry a flashlight- not safe and proposes a risk. The manager and the black gentleman who is an employee went above and beyond to help me.

The guy helping us, Richard, I think, was phenomenal. The only problem we had was our choices of trucks (even though we made reservations a month ago) were one with the check engine light on due to someone trying to steal the catalytic converter or one that had the gas syphoned and couldn't make it to the gas station. We were supposed to get a discount but that didn't happen on the final return bill.

Clean but window crank was missing the knob and passenger wiper was shredded but not scratching glass yet. Location is in one of Spokane's worst areas. Wasn't surprised the truck's gas had been siphoned the night before I picked it up. Employees were efficient, friendly, and made sure I had everything I needed. I would rent here, again.

The store manager is amazing! I have worked in Customer Service for over 30 years in Spokane and the level of service I received was impressive. MY EXPERIENCE I was nervous about moving day. I was moving my son from a studio apartment into storage.The store manager greeted me as I was walking into the store. He is extremely customer focused and made the process of moving easy. He checked me in and made sure we had the equipment/ supplies needed for our move. We received a complimentary storage for one month. He walked me to the storage area and allowed me to view the storage unit prior to moving our items in The process of renting a U-HAUL and storage unit was made so simple, affordable and "pain- free". Thank you U-HAUL for my experience and your amazing employees.

The manager Richard was fantastic. We rented a van and a storage space. Richard personally took care to explain how to access the storage and then helped us unload the van! The help was much needed and appreciated. Next time you have an opening for regional manager, you have your man in Richard!

The employee who closed my account was very nice and courteous. I moved out on the 18th of June. On the 30th of June I was charged $169,95 for the unit. I tried to get a refund back to my card but was told by the manager Ryan "there was nothing he could do and to dispute the charges with my bank". He was very rude and unprofessional. I called customer service to try and get some assistance and did not get any help. I will never rent a storage from Uhaul again and will tell everyone I know how terrible the service was. I will be contacting the corporate office and my bank.

Honestly this locations prices are very high. The fact that there is no elevator for the 2nd floor units is ridiculous. The parking to get inside is also not very convenient.

I was told on the phone that l had reserved a 5x 10 heated unit on the ground floor . I am elderly and had friends to help me move my few belongings into it after l sold my home in Spokane . I asked if Uhaul knew of anyone l might hire to move my belongings as a back up plan in case my friends were unavailable to help me . Next thing you know l have multiple texts from moving companies asking for my location and a timeline . I called Uhaul office back and told them l did not order movers . Was told that I must call a number and cancel it .... l explained that l did not order it so why did l have to cancel it . I spent part of the next day from 6 am until 4 pm calling the number given .... no one ever answered that phone . I finally gave up . Called Uhaul in Downtown Spokane and complained about the screw up and was told l did not have to call and cancel afterall . When l got to the place and checked in at the office the manager told me that it was not really a ground floor unit after all ( he said that is just what we call it ) but down long corridor and up Five flights of steps ! I told him that maybe he meant five steps ? Yes ( was actually 9 steps ) but a ground floor unit is on the ground floor not on a second floor with a low ceiling height all humans over 6 feet could not stand up Inside . No elevator in the building either . So requiring friends to Unload on to cart push down long hallway .... up the stairs and hand carry all to the locker some Twenty feet from the landing ( no carts up there ! ) Also on top of all the other BS there was 20 in. step up into the unit . Bottom line Is in no way was this a ground floor unit !!!!! The check in process took about a half hour because l had to give my information three times to the manager because of a problem he was having entering it into the computer . Once l had waited so long just to check in my friends ( soon to be former friends ! ) are out in the snow waiting for me to be done . Had l seen what l had reserved there l would have cancelled and gone elsewhere . Worst of all .... THIS IS NOT A GROUND FLOOR UNIT !!!!! No way no how should be called one ! Is a bait a switch . And to make matters worse instructing a number moving companies to text me asking for directions to my location when it was the fault of the company's employee in the first place and then it was my problem l was supposed to unravel on my own . I was stuck with trying to find another place to store my stuff or forge ahead with people there with my crap in their truck ready and willing to help . Hardly of the mind to think was a good idea to hope to find an alternative considering it was starting to snow pretty hard at that point and all my boxes were getting wet even tho my house was only 8 mins drive the check in took so long that all cardboard boxes were very damp and squishy by the time they got in the unit . I am 74 yrs old and now l have to return to Spokane in the Spring to get my things out of your crappy place .. Was a very trying experience for me and now l have to pay to get my stuff relocated to another place ...., to say l am disappointed is putting it mildly !!!!! I would not recommend your company to my worst enemy .... least while to friends and family !!!!!! Just horrible in every way ..... also everyone in the office without masks except for Me !!!!

I was put on the 2nd floor. I was told no other unit was available.even though I am 70 and a diabetic. My check bounced and I was locked out. I paid $221 to unlock it only to find water leaking inside on the floorboards. Then I missed the step right outside the unit and fell and hit my head on the cement behind me. I had an Cat Scan and Xray to make sure I wasn't bleeding in my brain. I have been down for 4 days with headaches and body pains. I wish to be compensated for the accident. Edith Owyen 5098088968. Biggest problem was not with any of the survey questions. Problem was with accessibility of unit requiring the use of STAIRS. There should be ramps up to all units.

The only problem I have is that this month i got a text message saying to.come in and pay my bill when I should have been on auto pay. Well the person who had helped me didnt out it on auto pay and I had specifically told him that I needed the auto pay because I have loans out and want to make sure it is one of the first payments to be pulled out. Well when I went to go correct this the guy ended up charging me and left me broke until next month... I thought since you guys messed up maybe I could get a discount but now I have to figure out Christmas for my kids . I have been with y'all for almost a year

We were traveling from Boise Idaho to Spokane Washington. We got to McCall Idaho for lunch and could not shut the drivers door on the uhaul truck because the door latch was stuck in the up position. I had to tie the door shut which was EXTREMELY inconvenient. We drove 259 miles trying to keep the door closed enough to continue to Spokane. If that had not happened I would rate the experience higher, however, I got the run around from the Spokane location about any kind of discount for the unconvinced this caused. I have rented from uhaul 2 times and both times something went wrong with the truck and no compensation was given. Not very reputable in my opinion.

No one should ever be left with out proper passwords to access info to complete transaction. With out having to call a boss in a meeting. Who won't answer. So the customer has complete faith everything is ok. Not leaving with out signed paper work on rental till next day email. After $$$$$ was passed and no receipt? Cause it needs password only boss has has. Who's in a 10 hour meeting??? Unreachable.

I had a full 20' U-haul truck that I need to store. The manager assured me that the unit he assigned to me would hold all of my goods. This was not true and I had to re-load my truck and move to a larger unit.This was quite an inconvience to me. It would have much better to have been told I would need to go elsewhere from the beginning.
