I was extremley unhappy, due to the fact i did NOT get the truck i actually reserved 3 days prior...I got a VAN, I couldnt move all my stuff! Your cimpanybis horrible and doesnt carebif we travel a hundred miles, miss work and go 3 different locations, and still dont get what i reserved..NEVER AGAIN.

From the time I walked in until the time I had my trailer an hour had passed. Five people were ahead of me when I arrived at 8:15 on Saturday morning. There were only two people working at this location and both were running back and forth from the desk to outside to prep and clean trucks and trailers. I’ve never experienced anything like this. Way understaffed for a Saturday morning when a lot of people are moving. To make matters worse, I was told that the trailer I had reserved earlier online was not available. Why would my reservation have been accepted if the trailer I selected wasn’t actually available? The only good part is that I was able to get a trailer of a different size. Unfortunately, the whole thing was a terrible experience.

The place in management here is poorly ran. It seems like it takes three people to do one job and nobody knows what’s going on. It took me over an hour to get a car hauler because no one knew how to give me cash so I could leave until someone opened a tail. It was a very frustrating experience and I will not go back there again.

I was. It advised that the equipment was due back by 7pm and because of this I went over the time it was due back, now my bank account is going to go overdrawn because of the second day charges.

Hire more staff to assist during busy times. When we arrived the truck we had reserved was not ready. In exchange for our time we were given two coupons that we cannot apparently apply to anything useful in Missouri. We had to wait quite awhile for the previous renters stuff to be unloaded and for the truck to be cleaned out. There was no gas in the tank so we had to fill up. The manager sold us a lock, assuring us it would fit on the truck door, and it didn’t, so we had to stop at a hardware store and purchase a new lock. Additionally, customer service was almost impossible to access. While at the Spokane location, the manager picked up and hung up the phone because she apparently had no time to speak to whoever was calling. Horribly and inefficiently run organization. I will tell everyone I know never to rent a U-Haul.

ive Reserved the trailer on a Friday evening at : 21 W 3rd ave in Spokane WA When I arrived on Saturday morning NONE of the 4x7 trailers were ready because of some technical difficulties. This reservation was backed by a $50 reservation guarantee. Melissa Lenhart assured me that I would get the guaranteed refund right upon returning the trailer. She gave me her cell phone number and asked me to text her and remind her to process the refund. I’ve texted her everyday since Monday and haven’t received either a response nor a refund. I’ve been renting from Uhaul for years and this is not the service I would expect for a Lang standing customer. It will reflect poorly on Uhaul and I will tell friends and family about My extremely negative experience if this doesn’t get resolved.

I made a quick pick up reservation thinking it would save time as we were packing my son up from college to move him home. The location was understaffed, the manager walked out, the kid left to deal with the line up of customers had only been on the job 4 days and was completely over whelmed. Things improved when the manager from another store got there to help but it was a 3 hour process from the time i got there until I was driving away which was a huge waste of time. I had to drive to the Airway Heights location to pick up an adapter because the 3rd Ave location didn't have any in stock. Very disappointing and frustrating experience.

The trailer had a lock that was not removed by the installer and I didn't notice it until I was ready to move. Also, the trailer was not securely attached to the hitch and came off while driving. Very disappointed in this experience.

I think some of the problems this location has stems from the layout of the parking lot. Maybe moving the trailers to the back and bring items to the front based on reservations and/or on typical demand for that day.

They are dishonest! Didn’t tell me there was a hole in roof but put on back of paperwork they shoved by me they wrote it on back. I even asked her if we should do a walk around she said no but never told me about the hole in roof but put I was responsible nsible if anything go damaged. There was hot air and fumes blowing in the cab I was feeling sick so second day of driving with window open I found a hole about 4” x8” in the sidewalk under the dash and there were 2 unconnected hoses blowing hot air in my lap area. The truck didn’t even get 5 miles per gallon and took 4 quarts of oil. The 3 st rental place denied there was a hole like somehow I cut a perfect 4x8 hole in side wall and was poisoned with carbon dioxide. This was by far my worst rental experience I have ever had. But the sneaky ness of not telling me about the hole in roof which could have ruined thousands of expensive furniture especially since I asked her to do a walk around, shame on you you have not represented Uhaul very honorably. Very dissapointed. Then they tried to close my complaint without ever even talking to me they told corporate that the hole wasn’t there when I left, yea right!! ??

Charging me for gas when I return the truck full and gas gas needle is broken. And the customer service worker was very rude about it.. Truck jh 1669 k needs to be pulled and service the gas needle

So, we've rented from this U-Haul location several times over the years. For the time she's been there, Melissa Lenhart is good at customer service and all the people working there have been professional and helpful. We've had no complaints and no problems. However, the times we've been at the store there's always the impression that Melissa is the only one with the expertise to do the computer piece (which can result in a bottleneck of people waiting to be helped), and with the answers that permit the others to keep making progress on own their job tasks. Just an impression, take it for what it's worth.
