The estimate for how much has was needed to get it to the necessary level was WAY OFF. It said I needed to put in 21,9 galena to get to 3/4 of a tank, I put in 18 and filled it up, eating my money that I'll never get back. Also, everything was supposed to be done by the app, the app didn't work at the location to check it out, and when I returned the truck after hours the app was down for maintenance so I ended up on hold for 15 minutes in a sketchy neighborhood waiting for an operator to answer the phone so I can finally turn in the truck. Not great.

Take care of the customer instead of trying to be right and prove a point. I was called 12 hours before going to pick up the truck that the truck I reserved was no longer available. Instead of having a one way trip truck, I now had to rent a local truck and bring it back 12 hours so other customers didn't screwed even though I was currently in the process of being screwed. The “manager” that called me said to take it or leave and didn't offer any other solutions. I called the morning of my pickup to speak with this manager again and they said he would call me back. I'm still waiting. I wasn't looking for a free truck. I was looking for someone to understand that I was being inconvenienced and to come up with realistic solutions instead of saying take it or leave it. I reserved my truck a week in advance. Good Customer service goes a long way. Unfortunately I didn't get any of that from uhaul.

These rental totes were extremely dirty! Which was pretty disgusting, since we were using them to pack clothes, kitchenware and other household items in them! Each box had to be cleaned before use. I took pictures to send to U-haul. There's no way these are being cleaned and sanitized before being rented out to the next customer.

Lots of damage to the truck that wasn't marked. Gas wasn't where I was told it was. Mileage wasn't what I was told it was. I was also told when I picked up my vehicle that if I ran into any issues where I needed the track an extra day I could just call in. When an emergency did come up I called to add an extra day and was treated with the worst customer service I've ever had. It's stressful enough moving and the attitude and fires hard for myself and my family was down right disrespectful and appalling. I will NEVER use Uhaul again because of how I was treated.

Customer service was poor at this location. They also tell you that you are short on fuel even if you have a receipt for the fuel you put in. Guess they want you to put in more fuel than it had. Would never recommend this place.

U haul should fill up all rentals 100 % before customers rent them. That way when customers go to fill them up afterwards we don't waste gas trying to remember where the fuel level was. It's too hard to guesstimate the exact level. Every time I rent a vehicle from U haul the gas level is between 75 % and 85 %. I'm sure U haul makes a lot of money on gas that its customers pay for doing it this way but it's wrong. Just fill the vehicle up beforehand. Simple solution. if it could be proven that this is a consistent u haul policy, can you imagine the lawsuits that would follow?

I believe I was overcharged. When I inquired the guy in the store wasn't able to explain the charge/cost. He directed me to call the store manager on Monday to get explanation. This is a bad customer experience and the guy in the store doesn't know to do his job. Even when I rented the equipment I had multiple bad experiences.

When I got the trailer, it appeared some one used it for dumping garbage. There was mud and chicken bones in it. When I returned it, I was charged with a cleaning fee. Next time, I will make the associate clean the trailer before I take the trailer.

If you say a trailer is 4 ft by 8 ft it should probably be 4 foot by 8 foot and not 3 foot by 7 Foot

The truck assigned to me had very little gas, less than 1/4 tank, which made it very tense for me as I needed to deliver equipment for a vaccination clinic on a schedule and hoped and prayed i wouldn't run out of gas on the way. AND the check-out documentation from U-haul said there was 1/2 a tank, which required me to dispute and document that before driving off the lot. Then I was overcharged by a lot for gas when i returned the vehicle and had to dispute it to get a refund of 143,46 $, which was graciously given. It just made me wonder if this is a practice to get more money out of customers around fuel, or was it multiple honest mistakes that put the burden on me to protect myself from over-paying? It felt not cool.

Not often I leave a comment after a standard customer interaction, but this u-haul experience was top notch. The person who helped me reserve the truck was super helpful. The woman who helped me at check-in was quick and precise and the guy who did the post-rental inspection was very efficient. Thanks for making a day which is typically stressful and exhausting just a little bit smoother.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The truck was clean and ready for use - we experienced no mechanical issues while using. The truck has a lot of dings and scratches. Location was easy in and out which is appreciated; along with the location being easy to find.

I was extremely dissatisfied with the length of time it took to simply pay cash on return. Whatever is at issue with the system needs to be fixed. Particularly after being advised it would not be a problem at the time of pick-up. I would only recommend this location if you intend to pay with a card.

The coupler on the trailer I rented didn't seem to have the ability get as tight as it should on the 2" hitch ball they sold me. It made a lot of noise when you drove over a bump or hit a rough spot on the road. Made me think the trailer was eventually going to pop off the hitch ball when you only had a lite load in the trailer. Wondering if they sold me the wrong size hitch ball or the coupling was just getting worn out and needed to be replaced?

The u hual reservation system and web page are the worst customer service I have encountered with any business ever. I made a reservation for a trailer with ramp to pick up in Kirkland. several hours later I was notified that my reservation had been changed to another type of trailer at a different location. When I tried to cancel that reservation on line, it would not accept my cancellation and I had to be a member to use the web page.

10 minutes before we were to pick up our truck at the location indicated when we reserved it, we got a phone call telling us we had to go to a different location to pick up the truck and also we had to drop off the truck at that same location vs Kenmore - which is where we needed it to be dropped off. The rep I spoke to literally signed when I told her how much of an inconvenience this was for us. She could have cared less. Same with the General Manager at the Rainier Ave S store, Brion, he told us "call wherever you made the reservation and they will give you a 50 $credit, there is nothing I can do" never once even looked at us. Never said I apologize for your inconvenience, nothing. The rep I spoke to about the credit, Marnie or Marty, was great. She credited us - she was the only positive piece to this whole experience. You did this to us before. Your c/s could care less - you make last minute changes causing major inconveniences and have no remorse for it.

U-Haul is doing great by us n a house renovation project. We're always picking up loads and dropping off things to get the job done. The Renton WA store has been terrific. They always have the right sized vehicle and their customer service is excellent. As I've said on other review, they've really upgraded their customer service and eliminated wait times with their new app. Highly recommend.

Recently we've used U-Haul for a house project we're working on. Their customer service and the quality of their vehicles is excellent. The company has made significant changes from several years ago. They have automated reservations which cuts the wait time. They are now able to serve customers quickly and their staff has a revolutionary new approach to customer service. Bravo, U-Haul. The Renton store has a great team.

1. I waited 30 minutes to receive service even though I checked in online and provided photos of my DL. Slow service set me back 45 minutes on a day I needed every moment. 2. I was given a truck with a gas tank only 1/4 full. Again, Uhaul waisted my time since I needed to stop for gas twice. Once at the beginning and once at the end. 3. The truck shattered a lot while driving without a load but just fine once it was loaded. In the future, I will look for other rental companies with better equipment. 4. The checkin process on my phone didn't work. I was getting server errors. I had not more time to waste that morning so this was an annoyance over doing the walk through with a person. 5. Not all the Uhaul employees were wearing masks. Shame on Uhaul management and employees for not maintaining a safe environment for the employees and customers.

As a first time user to U-Haul I was expecting a well used rundown van from the early 2000's. I test the van was modern comfortable and I could see above all other cars on the road. Made my 2+ hour trip to Aberdeen from Renton painless and enjoyable. Thanks U-Haul

The gentleman that helped me was very pleasant even though the store was very busy. All the staff were doing their best to keep a fast pace and getting thru the numerous customers. It was a Friday late afternoon and there seemed to be a little bit of a rush with customers picking up their equipment. I am needing to rent another trailer and will go back to this location!!

Wasn't shown where the vehicle was even after walking around and returning back inside. Terrible customer servc. Passenger Door was open when first starting engine. Gas level adjusted 1/8th after less than mile. No biggie.

I was not immediately made aware that the picture I took of the fuel gauge would increase the recorded amount of fuel in the tank on my contract, so I was surprised when I was told I owed a fuel charge or needed to fill up more than I already had.

We can't think of anything you need to improve on. We found this to be the most efficient U-Haul location we have been to and we are frequent renters of a 5 foot by 9 foot trailer. It was clean, the people helped us connect it to the truck and they were right there when we returned it. This was our first visit to this location but it won't be our last.

Water leaks at the front and rear of the storage unit and no heads up about the leaks so a ton of my belongings got wet, molded and ended with a significant loss. Notified manager about leak in front and brushed it off saying was from lifting the door when there was a clear hole in the front seal and the door doesn't fully close. How can my stuff be wet and moldy from lifting the door when I haven't been to the unit in months? Are the employees opening the door? I would have stored my stuff longer but doesn't seem like U-Haul cares about paying customers personal belongings and obviously doesn't need my money so taking my business elsewhere.

Reseervations should leave renting the storage units to the people on site! I moved 1 400 miles with a 6x12 uhaul trailer to a unit that wouldnt fit 5x5 and they had no other units! Never again
