excellent employees on staff. They had a lot going on and still maintained a great attitude. Two younger folks, a guy (Justin) and a gal. Also Dennis was great also when I picked up the trailer. Your computer system was having glitches and they were on speaker phone with a corporate service person, who told them the issue was not their fault. and that the software was having problems.

Upon picking up the truck, I received good customer service, although there were a few hiccups which almost lead to me not being able to get the truck I reserved. Upon truck drop off, I had the worst U-haul experience I have ever had. The person helping me with the truck return was with me for over 50 minutes: I was being charged the wrong amount (almost double) and they could not correct the charges, they mentioned they were new and other workers around were not willing to help out, claiming they could not do anything about it. After a while, the same person who said they could not do anything about it, stepped in and claimed to have fixed the issues and charged my card. When I saw the invoice, I noticed that I was charged almost double the amount and that the things I had voiced as incorrect were not fixed. I ended up contacting Y-haul via online messaging services and was finally able to receive the help I needed. In total, I took over 4 hours dealing with a truck return that should have only taken 10 minutes of my time. Extremely disappointed and very frustrating. They were busy, and I understood that, but that is no excuse for wasting so much of my time.

After checking in at the counter, the lady never mentioned I needed to click on the link sent by text. The estimated mileage when ordering the van didn't mention if you go over the ESTIMATED miles you would be charged additional charges "at the undisclosed daily rate set by Uhaul) .. what a SCAM. If you really wanted customers to know that fact you would set an alert/message at the time of booking the rental stating you would be charged more if you went over the estimated miles. A lady returning at the same time as me owed over $200 in extra miles fee because she didn't understand the "estimated" miles is really the miles put into the contract. She couldn't pay it so she just drove away. How there hasn't been a class action lawsuit already is beyond me.

I was charged over $70 for fueling and fuel charges. I left the tank 1/4 full just as I had got it. Never again for Uhaul.

John basically accused me of taking a blanket. We have rented a truck every week for almost a year. Now he's saying we will be charged for the dolly/blankets we do not use. When I order the trucks, I specify that we need nothing. I shouldn't be required to notify him if they leave them in the truck. I pick up pallets of food with the truck. My supplier moves the blankets and dolly to allow the pallets to fit in the truck. John indicated he "didn't care how long we have been renting trucks, he was going to charge us for these items we don't use and don't request. We pay $5-600 per month for your trucks and he's going to charge me for this? Horrible attitude. I prefer the Renton Highlands store where the crew is civil.

The guy hooked up the trailer in the morning is super impatient and somewhat rude. It's my first time towing something so I do want to make sure the procedure is correct. but he seems to be annoyed.

Keep your word when you do a contract with someone, 1st had reservation in west Seattle- trailer too small, they give you number to call. They find one for you in Kent, for $75 if you dro off in Grand Coulee arrive at location and the tell you, they only have one but has flat tire, plus they would not rent it to you for the price given. they call you back tell you there is one in Auburn, arrive there and you see two but when you go in the office they tell you one is broken and the other is already rented to someone else. Finally you call them again and they tell you there is one in Renton but smaller than what you been asking for. Arrive there and they give you a contract with no drop off location and the price is more reasonable Han the previos one that was bigger.

The guy behind the desk refused to serve me simply because I called him out for making a rude, unprofessional comment to me when I asked a question. I called the store manager to report the situation, she said that what I described “didn't sound like him” and said he had the right to refuse service to customers. I said and did nothing wrong, employees shouldn't be able to hide behind not serving customers simply because their statements are called into question. If employees don't have the professionalism it takes to serve customers they shouldn't be in a customer facing position. The entire situation wasted an hour of my time. . I was very disappointed with the managers response as I feel she did nothing to correct his behavior.

I reserved a trailer at a non Uhaul location only to arrive at 7 am to find out they are closed on the weekend, that would have been nice for Uhaul to let me know when they called me to verify the reservation. So I was in a pinch. I needed a trailer. I reserved at this location and they were excellent! I was in and out in about 30 minutes! It was even quicker when I returned the trailer. I wish noted the employees names but everyone was excellent! I use Uhaul at least once a year if not more and I will definitely use this location again!

I initially reserved my uhaul from Lakehills Chevron. They said they don't have the truck available even though they confirmed tre reservation the day before. Horrible customer service. Customer service sent me to Renton location which was a lot nicer. I had to pay extra mileage and gas because I had to drive almost 30miles more. Uhaul should do better reimbursing its customer if they can't keep their reservation and promise.

I had an issue with the location confirmation (via cell phone GPS), that prevented returning (online via the website) the rented utility trailer without Uhaul staff assistance. I don't know if using the Uhaul app would have made a difference, but I didn't get any prompt or recommendation to try it when I was having difficulty.

I used the app to check in and check out and it was a little confusing at end it told me to park vehicle but the workers who were very nice told me that it should just be dropped at cleaning check station so they can ensure the next customer gets a clean vehicle.

My selected truck size wasn't available due to a late return. I had to use a smaller truck and make multiple trips. The staff were accommodating despite this, and having dealt with an electrical fire in their office that morning. Bit of a mess but it all worked out in the end with some compromise.

1) Uhaul needs to adapt or change return practices when there is stormy weather. I parked the return under a sun tarp which is approximately 20 feet above the road. The weather was hail blowing sideways at 20 plus miles per hour with ice rain. I ran inside and the attendant turned me around saying "...we process returns outside..." THAT PRACTICE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE IN CERTAIN WEATHER CONDITIONS. 2) Clean the cab of the pickup. The cab smelled of terrible cigarette smoke and flatulence. The cab had dirt/debris to the extent one didn't want to put their jacket down. 3) Get the fuel tank setting at check out correct. The attendant marked the paper full or "F". When I got onto level ground a mile away the tank was less than 3/4 th's, more like 5/8 th's. Of all the things a Customer should not have to validate, the accuracy of the fuel within reason should not be one of them.

The worst moving experience to date. U-box was lost, padlock broken off, only a handful of furniture pads with goods arriving damaged. Have called customer service over 5x was supposed to receive a call from management by Thursday of last week and have yet to hear anything. I was told I would be refunded entirely for Uhaul's mistakes and have yet to see anything come through. Will be disputing.

Possibly the worst experience I've had with a company. Created a reservation for a 26' truck 10 days in advance for the Kent location. Waiting in line the morning of my reservation for 45 minutes for them to tell me that they did not have the 26' truck I reserved, as it broke down earlier that week (never called to let me know). There were no other trucks available for me to rent. They reserved a 20' truck for me at that time for the Renton location. As I was driving to Renton, they called to tell me that they had no available trucks. Andre (I think was his name) in Renton tried to help resolve my issue to a degree by saying he would have a 17' truck available for me at 4pm. When I showed up to Renton at 4, the new-ish male employee (had ponytail), told me he could not help because all reservations made in last 24-hours had been canceled. After another 45 minutes here I was granted a 17-ft truck. In the end, I received a smaller truck, wasn't able to pick it up until 9 hours after original reservation, was forced to drive to/from Renton (much farther of a drive since my move is in Black Diamond) and U-haul was attempting to charge me more money (due to the added millage of picking up/dropping off in Renton). In addition, this wasted a ton of my time, and completely ruined my move as all of my help was ready to go in the morning. I ultimately had to move everything by myself. Just an absolute terrible business model with even worse customer service. This is also the first time I've ever written a review (let alone a negative one), but the experience was really THAT BAD. I will not be paying for whatever U-Haul is attempting to charge me.

Water leaks at the front and rear of the storage unit and no heads up about the leaks so a ton of my belongings got wet, molded and ended with a significant loss. Notified manager about leak in front and brushed it off saying was from lifting the door when there was a clear hole in the front seal and the door doesn't fully close. How can my stuff be wet and moldy from lifting the door when I haven't been to the unit in months? Are the employees opening the door? I would have stored my stuff longer but doesn't seem like U-Haul cares about paying customers personal belongings and obviously doesn't need my money so taking my business elsewhere.

Reseervations should leave renting the storage units to the people on site! I moved 1 400 miles with a 6x12 uhaul trailer to a unit that wouldnt fit 5x5 and they had no other units! Never again
