When they changed the access hours it was super inconvenient due to my schedule. The 24 hour access is why I use uhaul for any storage needs.

The only nice and decent person you have working there is Theresa brown all my stuff got ruined when it flooded my unit I wouldn't recommend your place to nobody

Had a tough time getting the right sized truck n storage unit. Had to have a bigger size on bothe of them. Otherwise very nice except the overhead door fell on my trunk while I was backing out n I had to pay for it. There should have been something that alerted the door to raise back up. Live n learn I guess.

The unit was locked and the whole system was down, the management gave me the run around for awhile until I pressed them to come open the door when they knew they could…otherwise no issues.

Uhaul was a lifesaver for us when we were experiencing flooding in our home and had to store things somewhere safe and dry while we handled the flooding and rebuilt. Thank you uhaul!

Needed a storage unit ASAP and was able to get this one very quickly with an agent over the phone. Unit was bigger than I expected and an affordable amount for the size.

I rented a unit online and upon check in I found a note on ⁸8⁸the unit that stated I talk with management. I was informed that the unit actually wasn't available and that they didn't have any more that size. I was given 2 smaller units that were not near each other and that didn't have the space I needed. I had to take the 2 smaller units and the staff were friendly but I should not have been allowed to rent something that wasn't actually available.

Head manager didn't seem to be very approachable when seen at the store on several occasions. And store wasn't busy but experiences more than avagerage wait time before getting helped as they had enough staff to manage customers wait time

I needed 24 hrs Access Like it was advertised and did not receive that. Lots of homeless people hanging out in the halls. The reuse recycle area seem to be just a collection point for garbage. It always seemed to be emptied by the janitor. And it never really felt like anyone got a chance to Check out the items before they were taken. Just really disappointed about not having 24 hour access. That's what's advertised, that's what I feel should have been Honored. I was given no explanation when I called and checked into twenty four hour access. The bathrooms were always disgusting, toilets overfull. Garbage needed to be taken out. Just filthy. From what I understand The less fortunate need to find some other place to congregate at. Im sorry I don't know how you go about that. But that needs to be taken care of. Sooner than later.

This is the best storage unit I ever rented from. They actually care about the customer. I rented there approx three years, they new I had a hardship, and gave me the opportunity to save my belongings, very nice GM XAVIER and prior manger/GM, he also allowed me time to fix the problem, they were unbelievably considerate. I doubt I'll ever meet any ppl this decent in business again❤️

We also rented a pull behind to relocate our things and the tire blew apart yesterday in the first day of driving. While the roadside assistance was able to bring a new wheel, they were first given the wrong specifications and we had to wait for an additional hour while they switched it out. The entire experience took 4 hrs.

There needs to be a "no pet rule" posted because everyone nowadays feels they can bring their stupid dog anywhere they please. It's out of control.

We needed a small unit as we were moving out of state and our home wasn't ready yet. We unloaded our Uhaul here while we stayed in a temporary living situation until we could move in. The facility was nice and clean. You get a code that will unlock the garages and doors. I felt very secured that I could close the garage so no passbyers can come in a snoop. Anytime I went, there were usually other people going about their own business. Carts were always available to use. Move out was also very simple! Highly recommend to anyone needing a storage unit.

Easy, easy, easy. Easy move in, easy move out. Clean unit, clean building. Rough neighborhood but felt the building was safe. Lots of cameras and building locks work. No random people hanging out inside or on property. Would recommend to a friend.

Supposed to be open 24 hours, but it was closed at 10 pm. People were coming into one of the storage units to party after 10 pm. Not secure. Hallways too long distance. It took hours to remove items from the storage. I would never recommend this place if one needed short term.

Some doors weren't working, the system of two key pads was confusing. While trying to get in, we were greeted by someone who told us the doors open by themselves sometimes (I think he worked there? Wasn't wearing a shirt). Sketchy area and multiple random people tried to come in with us.

For several days I was using the outdoor keypad for deactivating and activating the room's alarm. Once I realized there is a similar keypad indoors, I was able to get in and out more easily, Thank you.

I did it all over the phone. Only to have to do it all again when I couldn't get the app to work for my check-in. I went to the store and, for some reason, spelled my last name wrong over the phone, which is why nothing saved and I couldn't get the app to work for me. That took 45-60 min at the store by the time I got done. Otherwise no issues.

I have used U Haul un the past, since 1991, and have been satisfied, this was the first time using a storage unit and U really had a excellent experience, I would recommend U Haul to my friends and family, thank you

It was an easy experience. When I went to sweep out the unit my code would not work and the alarm at the unit would keep alarming and I could not get the padalock off to take to office. The office gentleman was amazing he said not to worry I could still cancel the unit. Your facility was very clean and safe. Merci

There was only one bay available that could fit a uhaul truck. It was already taken when we arrived so we had to wait over an hour to unload. One set of sliding doors was not working and the facility is a maze.

I appreciated all of the help the staff provided to me. I first rented a unit on the second floor, not accessible by any other way than stairs. The staff quickly helped me find another unit in their other facility, that was more easily accessible. They were very quick and helpful in assisting me with getting inside the unit as well. Merci.

I told 4 managers that the roof was leaking. We had one box of non-replaceable items destroyed, and several other bins left with water stains. Nothing was ever done about it.

No lighting in the actual unit. Not able to easily see our items well. Ceiling sprinkler spout too low. We kept hitting our head or hitting it with different items.

Horrible staff, liers, and manipulators.. I travel regularly, and by far.. s. Falls, south Dakota facility that's overseen, by Xavier Herman especially him, was my worst experience ever.. only reason of why, I'll taken the time to respond to this survey, I completely wouldn't recommend anyone to this location..

Over the two years that I had this unit there were multiple problems. The last person that I spoke with in customer service was rude, uncooperative, and said the issue was on my end. When I contacted my bank, it was UHaul's issue not mine.

I could not find my unit for probably twenty minutes called the office and the speakers on the walls and got no answer. It was 5pm and they said the office closed at 7pm so not sure what was going on. The experience trying to find our unit was honestly terrible and even had other people who had units there trying to help us pointing us in all the wrong places. We walked around so much that eventually my boxes tipped off the cart and to the floor braking our glass cups. (Picked up the glass bast I could.) Also I've been in the facility before and had never seen the units that required stairs to get to them, I know the description said stairs but I figured the elevator would also go to where we were needed to go, we are going to work with what we have but now need to find other places to put our things that are to heavy to carry up 10 steps.

Couldn't find the office to get the card

I WAS TEMPTED TO GIVE A POOR RATING SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS FOR CLEARING OUT OF THE UNIT EARLY, AFTER HAVING PAID FOR A FULL MONTH!! THERE'S NO REASON YOU COULDN'T RENT THAT OUT TO SOMEONE ELSE RIGHT AWAY. WE WERE TOLD WE COULD RENT AN 8x10 UNIT FOR ABOUT $119 AND THOUGHT IT WAS RESERVED FOR US. HOWEVER, WHEN WE GOT THERE TO UNLOAD, THERE WAS NO UNIT ASSIGNED TO US AND WAS FORCED TO TAKE A 10X10 FOR ABOUT 30-40 DOLLARS MORE. THAT ERROR WAS MADE BY UHAUL WHEN I FIRST CALLED TO RESERVE STORAGE!!

I would not recommend this facility. My unit was broken into, things were stolen from my unit. The lock was changed without my knowledge. I went to get some things out, but my key would not work. I went to the office and was told the lock was changed a month prior. I was told the lock was found to be open, so a new one was put on. I was never told anything until I went to the office to find out why my key didn't work. Once I got into my unit, things were in disarray and items missing. I made the staff aware. I was told to send an email to the manager, which I did. I never received a response or any action taken to resolve my issue. I asked the video be reviewed to find out what happens. That never happened either. I would NEVER recomend anyone to use U-Haul storage. It's not secure in anyway. I would till like to find out who got into my unit, as well as compensation for the items stolen.

The only problem was the lights being on a timer 20 minutes long. It got dark and I had to walk down the hall to turn the lights on.

No complaints other than the Olympic level hoops that had to be jumped through to get ahold of someone who could help when my unit got stuck. Ended up being saved by an employee who took the time to help unjam the unit by hand. Don't recall his name but he deserves recognition for his effort.

This storage facility in Sioux Falls has excellent electronic security including the ability to Arm your storage unit. Would recommend to anyone who cares about storage security.

Our "secured" storage unit had the metal wire cover over the unit peeled back and someone entered the unit taking a few items and causing damage to other items.

Your online customer service was NIT helpful. They did not know anything about our local U haul process. They sent me all over Sioux Falls sd. The online reservation for a 86 year old was too much of a challenge. No phone number for local help.

I worked with Bryan and Owen at the 11th st office in Sioux called. They were AMAZING!!! There had been a lot of system errors in finding me a storage unit and Bryan was amazing at finding a solution. And Owen helped in the process also. Please give them praise!!!

Hall ways to narrow , hard to navigate through building, need more than on we side of the building for unloading and loading trailers. Poor design overall of facility. Not user friendly at all. Called the building and had little to no help at all on access into building for unloading trailer.

I never moved into this unit I reserved it for the 27th. I called in on the 25th and changed my reservation date to April 1. The next day the moving plans changed so I needed to cancel my reservation for the storage unit. I called in on the 26th to do this. It was canceled, and I was told at that time that I would not be charged for the rental because I never moved into it. I found out a couple days ago and I was looking into truck rates that you still had my reservation in my account and it was charged for so I need to have that charge reversed. I called him to have it reversed and I was transferred around and then I called the main office in Sioux Falls and I never received a call back I marked everything no because I have no experience with a storage facility at U-Haul it to base it on. I want my monthly rental fee reversed off of my card that was charged.

No management personal were available on site. No one would answer on site intercom. Had to go to another UJaul store to get access to reserved storage container which was reserved. Store personnel did not know what there were doing when accessing / reserving storage container.

Some of the overhead doors would not operate and its hard to understand why they weren't fixed as uhaul has multiple customers there should be no reason for any of the overhead doors not be operational

Everything was great other than the fact that I was told that I would get a refund of original unit when I moved to bigger unit. Yet it took a week and a half to get the refund processed because it seems like the employees I dealt with weren't trained properly and no managers around to talk to about the problem. The only good employee I dealt with was Gage O'Connor in the whole business.

There was an issue with the code and no one was answering the phone and once I spoke with someone it took close to 45min when they said it would be 15. The alarms were going off for who knows how long. Hopefully this isn't a reflection on how this operates.

It would be helpful if the customer was aware they needed something to cut a zip tie off the storage unit door. It would also be great if the map provided could have yellow highlighter marking the path to the customers storage space ( the place is a maze). Letting the customer know they need to activate the entrance doors when they leave would also be great. It's was very frustrating on one drop off that the largest overhead door wouldn't open ( my movers were on the clock and another customer with a compact car was using the next largest bay). You should have a local number to call for assistance. A customer shouldn't have to wait for assistance for an hour and a half.

Our experience here was horrible. If you are new to Sioux Falls, stay away. We found disgusting items in our storage unit, obviously tossed over the ceiling, we encountered rude people and had to call 911 for help while being blocked into the parking garage and more. Not worth it, find anything else. Anything.

My greatest concern lack of 'person' availability. To answer questions. The constant "go on line" doesn't work for me! Call backs. When less than 10 min. Fine. More than hour higher more help and pay more salary

I did not have an opportunity to actually use the storage unit I arranged for, as plans changed. But in the future, this is the first choice I would make in securing a storage unit.

I would rate 5 stars but due to the fact I was given such a hassle to close out my account, I am rating 1 star. I'm very disappointed in how long the process drug out, no one answered calls, and then I received pre-lein notices on a unit I no longer used which is ridiculous. I never paid late and was always on time and then for this to all happen was really frustrating. I moved out of my unit June 11 and I contacted uhaul about it a couple days later and multiple times from then. It is now July 19th and I'm finally being contacted it's closed out after multiple customer service calls I made and notes being put on my file.

The garage door slammed down on my car as I was as pulling out. That was the only issue that I had. Hopefully my car is not messed up from the damage.

Whenever I would be at the storage facility and inside my storage the lights would always shut off on me. I was never able to reach a manager when my storage was broken into and also when i needed my access code

The bathrooms could use a little more attention, and it would be nice to have a bathroom in the basement as well. Found bottles of pee in there while getting items out of storage. Other than that its good.
