I had the truck for less then 7 hours, returned it around 9:30 pm. They charged me $20 fee for after hours drop. I was never told about the fee even though I said I would have it for 8 hours which meant it would be after hours! On top if that I could have just returned it the next day with no fee. I was not given a full tank. The meter was slightly above F, but after driving only 24 miles, the meter was nearly a quarter less. I believe the last renter just barely got it to near F and stopped filling. I had to put in $15,58 in gas to get the van full, and that is way more gas then 24 miles would have burned. The only reason I said no on Equipment was because the gas was at 1/8 of a tank and I needed to get gas before even using the truck. It would of been better for me to fill it up at the end not at the start and have to make sure it has more gas at the end too. Two times to get gas for just a in town trip.ROBERT C.

Price was way higher than originally quoted online. Staff kept switching vehicles causing a 20 minute delay, I was on a time crunch and this led to me being late to where I was meeting my movers. My reservation pick up location was changed 3 times from my original reservation location, the most recent being only 50 minutes from the pick up time when we were already on our way there. The customer service representative was slow and overall our check in lasted about 30 minutes. I has reserved furniture pads, but was then told they were not available. I asked if could buy them instead because now I had no remaining time to make alternative plans and was told it would be too expensive. I started at the lake Oswego branch. I reserved and paid online and checked in early. When I got there they said that the trailer I wanted was unavailable because it was under repair. I left over 15 messages and could not get anyone to call me back. This location need to be under new management and staff needs to be retrained by someone who cares about customer service. The national customer service was amazing and I appreciate their support but the location was rude when I was in person and did not answer emails or voicemails. After I moved out they did not do a walk through until 10 days later. Someone moved junk into my unit. Does not make the facility feel secure. Luckily I used a professional moving company and had evidence that everything was removed from my unit. No one from the location called to inform me about things in the unit. It took over 15 phone calls and 2 months to find out. Thank goodness for the national customer services team that went above and beyond to solve the issue.Keri J. | Expérience générale

I will be leaving this review on Google where I'm in the top 10 % of reviewers and have hundreds of thousands of views of my reviews an photos. I had a terrible experience and so much of it was poor management and decisions made by Uhaul Staff, especially at this location. I was supposed to drop off and store at the Aloha location. They would not reserve a unit over the phone and when I arrived and waited in line, he told me I can get a unit in Tigard. By this time traffic was bad to get there, once I did, there was confusion and it took time to get my Truck and AT figured out. First when arriving and attempting to park and go in, I was told by outside staff to go down to the lower parking lot to take my car off, but this was before I had checked in. Once I went down there I had no idea what to do or where to go or how to do this as there is no designated area . When i came back up then i was given better instructions from staff inside. I was given a unit too small. They also required me to back up my trailer to park it which took extra time because I'm not experienced and staff kept telling me to wait before I could park because drivers and vans kept coming in. Then it took even MORE time with staff Making me wait for other cars and trucks to come in (which i was in the way of I guess?). He could have had those later customers wait, especially because then this caused a big line to form before me to get my actual unit. By this time I did not have enough time to move my stuff into too small of a unit. I requested more time because of the mixups, I work at night and cannot wake up early to deal with this but now am forced to go and finish this process at 8am so I can get the truck back in time. This was not given to me. Ther process for a single person to move into the unit was terrible. I had to hold onto big items on a dolly that kept jiggling on the rough pavement right before the door and throwing off my stuff, while I had to swipe to get in the door every time, and struggle to hold the door open to get things In and then worry the door was open too long for the temp control and kept seeing the $150 fine warning. Added to this, there is not a smooth transition for the Dolly's to cross the threshold which makes it even harder for me to get things in. The door that swings open forces you right into the big dots on the floor where the cart goes, but this is in the way and makes getting the cart in even MORE difficult. When dropping off vehicle, I got no confirmation that the process was done and ensue proper payment. Just told to drop off keys and leave. I asked to speak with a manager to mention all of this,, as this form suggests speaking to management to fix issues or concerns, but the associate told me it will take time to find him and I am done waiting for Uhaul Staff to take up more of my time when I should be sleeping. This could all have been done yesterday had uhaul Staff not created such a mess and delay for me. The access hours were less than flexible and if I had done my homework, and I acknowledge this is on me, I would have chosen a different 24/7 storage unit. After having to push my moving date back a day to work with the storage unit hours, upon arrival the door was jammed and we were not able to get in. It took about 30 minutes to find a solution and we moved to a unit in a different building. Richard was wonderful and did everything he could, its just really unfortunate that it happened and on a day that was 110 and after feeling inconvenienced already. After a long day I asked to drop the Uhual truck off at the Tigard location, rather than the Beaverton location, and they were very accommodating.
