Worst customer service experience I’ve had in years. Moving is already stressful enough and the Tigard uhual location made things much worse.this is what happened:
-when given a log in for the gate and a storage locker, it was put under the name “craigger hall” and not my name, I had to get this all fixed which took an extra hour.
-the original locker I was given was broken. The door was sagging and the lock wouldn’t align with the holes, so you couldn’t close the door. So I had to completely move out from 307 to 309, which took another extra hour.
-when I called to make a hitch appointment I was scheduled for the upcoming Monday. I called that morning to confirm my noon appointment and they said it didn’t exist, so they rescheduled. When I called the day before they still didn’t have it on the calendar, when I looked at my reservation it was for Little Rock, AR, not Tigard Oregon, had to reschedule a 3rd time and this took more time.
I asked 3 times that they make sure my storage locker rental would terminate on the 23rd, each time they said no problem, then I get an email 8 days after the 23rd saying to remember to pay for my locker rent on the 8th, meaning it never got canceled.
The tigers staff seemed annoyed rather than apologetic. I completely understand why the Tigard location has 2.3 stars on google and assume that rating will continue to plummet.
All and all, you guys made life more stressful, your equipment was dirty and broken, and your staff is unhelpful and poorly trained. I will go out of my way to make sure no one ever uses your location.
