Some of the stuff I filled out online didn't transfer over to the store, like taking a picture of my ID, so we had to re-do that. The owner was super friendly and helpful, and even saved us some money by offering package deals. Will definitely use them again.

I arrived at the Uhaul location in Roseburg, Oregon at 5:00pm to pick up a truck rental. The clerk told me that the truck had not been returned by the previous costumer. (I wish they would have called me so I would not have wasted a 50 mile round trip) He called the previous customer who told him that the truck would be back in about 5 minutes (The clerk had already told me that the truck was 6 hours late) and that I could have a seat and wait if I wanted. I had previously completed all the forms online in order to reduce the amount of time at the counter and inside the Uhaul store. I decided that I didn't want to wait inside and asked if I could come back and pick up the truck the next morning; it was then arranged for me to pick up at 8:00 am the next morning. I decided to call Uhaul the next morning before I left to confirm the truck was there and ready for pick up. It was. When I arrived I paid for the rental plus the insurance and the estimated mileage. After getting inside and starting the truck I noticed that the inside had not been cleaned: there was liquid in the bottom of one of the cup holders (looked like coffee with creamer), appeared to be cigarette ashes all over the floor of the cab (I am a non-smoker). I went back inside and informed the clerk that the inside of the cab was dirty and that I did not want to be responsible for cleaning up the dirty cab; the clerk said he would make a note of it. I am still very upset about the cab being dirty; It should have been cleaned and sanitized between customers because of the COVID situation. When I got the truck to my house I used Lysol disinfectant spray and wiped down the door handles, steering wheel, dashboard, seat belts and seats before proceeding to use the truck. When I returned the truck later that day an employee came outside to the truck to complete the return of the truck. The employee did not wear a mask while we were close together outside. When we went inside to get a printed receipt, that same employee did not wear a mask. In conclusion the Roseburg, Oregon Uhaul had poor customer service and total disregard for the safety of me and my family, and other customer who use the services of Uhaul.

This is an excellent rating only because of "Meesh". She was awesome!!! Instead of giving the number to call myself, she made the call for me and helped me from beginning to end. She is a keeper this on!!! Her boss needs to know and she deserves a raise!!! :-)

Be Fair. I rented a van and I was late bringing it back. A U-haul dealer picked up the van. I called corporate because I didn't know where the van was but I had been told U-haul picked it up. Corporate didn't have any record of the dealer picking it up. I ended up calling the police to start a report for it being stolen. The officer found it. I went and paid cash to settle the bill and a week later they put through a charge for $250 on top of the $300 I already paid. I have a receipt showing the bill was paid in full prior to the charge they put through. Now my account is overdrawn and there is no record of my rental in U-haul anywhere. I will be fighting this one!!

Uhaul employees failed to mention that we had the option of dropping the uhaul off at different location closer to where we moved. But instead we had to drive 3 hours back to the original location to deliver the vehicle. I was charged double what I should have been for a service offered by company but the employees failed to mention this option. 359.00$ when I should have originally been charged 162.00$

We had already payed for the extra day through our credit card and the girl charged my husband twice he asked for a refund from the cash he just handed her she said she could not do that my husband asked why he did not understand she would not give it to him.My son was going out second door and my husband went out the door by register when he went out my son heard her say you fucking asshole about my husband my son was so upset he said he could not believe she said that and it was her fault.we will never go back.

Get some new computers so customers don't have to wait so long and then NOT GET a copy of our contract. The only reason I would recommend to a friend is because it's the only place in town to get a trailer or truck that I know of.

Didn't have truck that I booked so the reservation was changed. When I arrived they didn't have the truck and informed me the only thing they had was used to move weed. As I had to move that day I took that truck. Now everything I own smells very strongly of pot, not great for someone that works in HR. The staff were not friendly and irritated that their co worker didn't show up to work. Overall not a great experience.

It rained on the move and the roof leaked causing some items to become wet. Felt bad nobody at sight to tell as trailer was said to be going cross country when arrived. Waited over 30 minutes for service person

Just wanted to say that the clerk was there by himself when checking in. He was very very upset @ the previous customer & threw his drink against the wall & threw the phone against the wall before continuing with us. I understand being upset but that was very very unprofessional. He did not have a name tag on but he had red hair & a pony tail

Then tell me I can drop it off in the I'm moving to only to call me later and tell me I have to take it approximately an hour from where I live to another town. Supposed to open at 7am on Saturday. No one showed up by 7:30am. Gave up and dropped trailer. Now I see a $20 after hours service fee. I will not pay the $20. There was another man that waited form 30 minutes also. We both dropped off the trailers at 7:30am. This was 30 minutes after your store was supposed to open.

U-Haul always seems to have a temperamental and troublesome Point of Sale system. Every time without fail there is some bug or misfire that requires starting again or resorting to a manual entry. Other than this my experiences, certainly in Roseburg, OR are all always positive and friendly.

I went to return the U-Haul and a white mustang was being detailed. My husband parked and began the app return. The woman With mid back brown wavy hair, probably 110-120 lbs, 5'6 or so inches who had been in the detail lane cleaning her mustang, banged on my window, and told me I needed to return the car and have it detailed next to the shop. I could “only use the app after hours.” She told me it needed checked in. She moved her mustang to the garage, pointed at cleaning supplies and walked to detail her car—using detail cleaner and filling her car tires with more air. I cleaned The dash, floor, center, steering wheel, doors, climate and stereo knobs—which I believe was her job—with sanitizer for COVID according to the chart next to the chemicals. I waited. She didn't return. I walked over towards her car after it was clear she wasn't going to come back over—stood there for three minutes (I took pictures at one minute intervals of standing by her and her car). She refused to acknowledge me. I then said, “I thought I needed to check this in?” She looked up, held up her air hose for her tire and said “I'm off the clock. There's people inside.” And she returned to maintaining her personal vehicle. I went inside and the gentleman with red hair was polite. He's helped me before—the last three times I've rented from roseburg over the last year and a half (I pour money into the haul a lot...I may reconsider after yesterday).

Having a storage facility with 2nd floor but NO elevator is big NO. We had reserved two units but we were not told they were on second level and stairs only. Even though personnel was trying to be helpful, we couldn’t rent this units. Overall it was a waste of time.
