I told the attendant that there was an issue with the wiper blades, gear shifter was working correctly and the seat belt had issues, they both didn't seem to really care. I was asking for a reduction in cost and they both blew me off like this is just what it is. I'd like a portion refunded.

The auto transport wheel ratchets were not functioning properly. They were rusted and were very difficult to operate. I asked the clerk, Oliver, for a different transport, because I was not confident in the safety of the one I was given. The clerk told me no, because "they are all like that." Oliver seemed like he had little to no experience with loading a car on a transport.

Units are secured so I don't understand why the storages can't be accessed 24/7. Storage hours are 5am-10pm but they'll deny your access at 9:30pm. They provide a contact for after hours but won't get back to you until the next day with a lame excuse about your balance being almost due.

Dolly was rented out Dirty. prior renter must have had a leaking rear axle dolly was splattered with Gear oil. one of the tail lights fell out somewhere along the trip and the other side was half functional. Employees were good to work with.. maybe design a battery pack that can be used to plug in and power trailer/ dolly lights so they can be easily checked when equipment is checked back in?

The staff and facility was great...the only recommendation is to have a true freight elevator as the two elevators barely fit a person and one cart.

Trailer was not hooked up properly. The chains drug as well as the plug extension causing it to wear through and loose lights. I had to stop and cut and splice the wires back together. I would have thought I would have had some money returned for the issues.

The guys that were there when I went to pick up the truck acted like they couldn't care less that I was there and did the absolute bare minimum. They took my money, handed me keys, and told me to go find the truck. At other locations, there's always been someone who has walked me to the truck, looked over it together to review condition, helped me find the dolly, etc. Also I wasn't told anything about the return process. I returned it and deposited the keys and later found out I needed to fill out this questionnaire on a mobile app or get charged. I tried to to the best of my ability, but I had already locked up the truck and deposited the keys. Overall, it was a very terrible experience compared to what I've had at other locations and what I know uhaul is capable of.

There needs to be more information about the weight of a trailer for your specific car. We were driving through mountain passes and had to go to a truck stop to weight the trailer and vehicle. This is a major safety issue and u-haul staff should be more aware of these requirements.

I was very pleased with this facility until last weekend. I pulled into the bay, took the elevator to my third-floor unit, and began to load up a cart, just as I've done on every visit for the last 18 months. Imagine my surprise when a burglar alarm goes off and a booming PA system tells me to report to the security office. Turns out a new security system was put in place with no notice to customers. I resent being treated like a thief. What's more, I have a heart condition. If this had sent me into my third heart attack, I would have sued Uhaul for everything you have. I cleaned out my unit yesterday and closed my account. You will not be getting my business again.

Wish someone would have defrosted our window and bright the truck to the front for pick up. We had to walk to the back and then wait to leave until the window defrosted. The guy whom helped us in the lobby was friendly and no issues.

The Good: People here were professional and helpful. We crossed 5 mountain passes and the truck had good power, was easy to drive, and had automatic engine braking. The Bad: Our pickup location was changed to across town to a place that wasn't open Sundays. And the change was not necessary. In addition, none of the UHaul apps worked on our phones or on my PC so picking up the truck remotely would have been a big problem. West Spokane changed it back for us, thank you! The truck key has a big card as a key fob and this card interferes with getting your leg to the brake, enough that I almost rear ended someone when an accident occurred a few cars ahead of me. Get rid of that big card.

It was cold, and I had to wait for someone to get up and to out to check the trailer. No one wanted to actually come out and confirm that the drop off was complete: "Its okay, we know it is your trailer."

I followed all of the drop off instructions exactly. I documented everything with pictures, the exterior of the car, interior, cab, and took live pictures dropping the keys in the drop box and closing it. At 7am the next morning I received two calls stating they were not in the drop box and that I had not returned them. The employee continued to accuse me with attitude that they were 100 % not in the drop box and that I had incorrectly returned them/ still have them until I sent proof with pictures dropping them in the correct place. He then responded saying they will not end up charging me for a missing key but only because I had receipts and proof of returning the keys. If I had not taken picture I would've been charged for a missing key which is absolutely unacceptable. It is corrupt to take even more money out of paying customers because the employees at this location are incompetent and unable to locate a single key returned 100 % correctly. Being accused of incorrectly following very simple instructions to return a key is not how to keep customers, especially when uhaul is at fault. I will not recommend this location or use it again, I will drive out of my way to avoid the employees at this location.

Started out rough at this location but finished ok. First, we were surprised our U-Box was delivered to a different location than was listed for its arrival in Spokane. We did get it transferred successfully and timely, but when we went to get access the U-Box, we were told to go find it. The staff was not overly friendly or helpful, so we were thankful that we go the automatic door to work, so our interaction was limited. Everything worked out find and we'd use U-Haul and this location again.

I drove this truck across the state ( just less than 500 miles) to a sound that was well above 150 db. I literally have ringing in my ears! Where I returned it, I informed the agent of the insane sound. He checked it out and informed me the muffler to tailpipe connection was not made secured leaving a huge gap. They agreed as well and stated it is not normal and it will be fixed. Unfortunately, that didn't make me feel better about the rental. Again, I gave these guys good marks.

Clearly state that if you as a customer have a automotive problem and cannot tow your vehicle all the way to the destination, you will be charged additional fees.

Seamless experience origin to destination. Good customer service, good trucks, the app is great very convenient and helpful and returning the rigs was a breeze. You all needs a slogan on the side of their trucks that says, "U-Haul - moving America." I would also recommend putting the 1-800 U-Haul phone number on all the trucks.

My experience with UHaul has been very disappointing. From the beginning of my rental of my storage unit to today Uhaul has continued to make my experience worse. I am not sure I will be continuing my stay there very much longer.

My storage was locked and I had to run around this MASSIVE uhaul location to chase down the SINGLE human being to unlock it. The automatic door didn't work. I hated this experience

I am frustrated with the process of moving from one unit to another. The correct contact info including my email was taken down when i opened an account and moved in. I was never notified via email about the move. I was sent a random text, no call, telling me to call in. Then when i called in i was told the bad news. All of the responsibility was placed on me to find movers. I had to go to a website, try to schdule a move of my belongings and make the price point work for the Uhaul management. The process was time consuming and took 2 days because they did not approve my intial moving quote. The quote they wanted me to use was the cheapest quote available online. That should have been stated when i was told to get a quote. I found it frustrating that i was having to do all the leg work of finsing movers, getting it approved and scheduling it on my time when it was Uhauls lack of responsibility and due diligence to know the city rules and regulations for wetlands. Even if the city changed their plan, giving me 2 weeks is not enough. Now my new location indoors is going to be more work to move from when i finally get my belongings out. I feel like Uhaul is blqming the city and not taking any responsibility. One free month of rent in a less desirable location is worth it to me. Management was trying to be helpful to work with during the mess. I do appreciate it.

Robert Vandeweghe should be promoted to CEO of U-Haul international or if there in no international division then just CEO of U-Haul in America. At the very least give him a substantial raise and/or promotion.

The reservation process was easy. Once I went to move in is when the experience was unacceptable. Once there to start moving in, it was unclear to me what I was supposed to do and when following the steps online, the app and the website had no record of my reservation. After some hunting I was able to find my unit, but it was locked. When I went into the office they were able to find me in the system and followed me to the unit to unlock it. I got it ready for me to move in and when I came back 3 hours later with my entire apartment packed in three cars I was unable to get into the building where my unit was. I finally was able to get ahold of the store manager and he explained to me the passcode locks on the doors have been out of service and they have been waiting on a repairman for a while now. He then said they have been telling all customers of them only being open during business hours right now and I should have been told this. However, not only was I not told this, I now had my entire life packed up with nowhere to store it after I just spent the last of my money on this storage unit that was supposed to be open until 10pm. I had two friends helping me with their vehicles and they couldn't just keep my stuff packed in their cars over night. The manager said he would call his employee and see if he could turn around because he had just left and wasn't too far, but ultimately it was up to the employee if he wanted to come back or not. I waited for the call. We looked around for a solution and found one of the uhaul moving trucks unlocked. The manager called back and told me that his employee was not going to turn around because he remembered telling me about the hours when I came to return a van and gave him my name as proof. I then explained to the manager that that was impossible because I did not rent a van or any vehicle from them and he was wrong but I had a solution and was going to put my things in the unlocked truck I found on the lot with my lock temporarily. The manager agreed and offered to credit me with a free month. I agreed and came back and then moved my things a third time into my unit finally. Needless to say I did not have a very good experience. Thankfully this is over and hopefully this kind of service is not habitual.

The facility looks well taken care of, secure, with very friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately the bay doors were under repair, so it was not possible to use the drive-in loading area. It's the nightmare of dealing with the staff member that was putting on additional locks for no reason but still doing it after all the construction work was finished. Making clients do multiple trips back and forth to the office to retrieve their equipment. Very rude and very confrontational. You cannot have control freaks like that running your organization you will lose multiple customers. And eventually go out of business. People who want to control everything. To the detriment of your clientele. As it stands I would not recommend U-Haul for that reason only. I doubt I will never do business again with U-Haul because I had such a bad experience.

Was told there was after hours access there is not. Today when trying to drop off items a employee came out and said we couldn't do it since they closed in 15 minutes. Storage side of the building was all locked up 15 minutes before they close. I understand we were close to closing time but then to be told because he has things to do after work and didn't wanna have to come searching for us completely unprofessional.

U-Haul was great. U-Haul Moving and Storage of West Spokane ran into an issue with the city wetlands department, and it affected me! U-Haul of West Spokane had to close a few storage units along the freeway side of the facility. As it turns out I had one of the units on that side! Rob and the staff there called me in August and told me that I would have to move out by the end of that month! Unfortunately I live in a different State now and could not really do much about it. Rob promised me that if I would hire a company to move my stuff to a different unit there in their West Spokane facility they would pay for the move and give me 2 months free rent. He suggested an outfit called Speedy Movers, which I contacted. Unfortunately they were booked past the time I needed them but they recommended a fellow named Tyrone with a different company. Tyrone and Associates did a wonderful job. And manager Rob at West Spokane U-Haul Moving and Storage paid them and have kept their word about the two months free rent. They even got me into a smaller unit which is going to save me about $70 a month! Needless to say I am very pleased with Rob and companies at West Spokane U-Haul Moving and Storage. Thank you Rob!!

In my short time there, not even a year, I was moved out of my inside unit due to a fire hazard into an outside unit. Then most recently my unit was broken into and my stuff stolen and damaged. So not at all secure or any peace of mind. You would think there would be a gate code to track people or motion sensor/camera to alert when people are literally breaking into multiple units… so overall experience was disappointing.

Robert and Frank both were always friendly and helpful and went above and beyond in customer service and we have enjoyed working with them while our project had had many bumps along they way, we never had to worry about the security of our furniture in storage while we were on hold! The online move-in was not accurate to how this facility operates. Once I knew what to do it wasn't a problem. I had to get an employee to let me into the unit instead of key pad entry, and there wasn't a lock in the unit, so I had to go to the front desk to get the free lock. Not terrible, just kind of inconvenient. The biggest issue I had was that the unit I reserved had a damaged locking mechanism. I was able to move to another unit the next day. Which luckily I was making sure I was set to move stuff in the next day and didn't have a truck full of stuff. That was handled pretty seamlessly and everyone I interacted with was awesome. So overall an OK experience, but I wish it was more streamlined so I didn't have to spend so much time getting access and switching units.

I am NOT HAPPY with who ever Moved my Items! Many things are missing, I did recover my Fan and 3 drawer container from the facility of Sprague. I am not sure what all is missing yet for I had a delivery in Lewiston ID that same day. I had 2 smaller collapsible boxes which held my T-shirts and another my medications, which is missing. The movers ruined some of my totes by putting heavy items upon light weight items. I am not sure until I am back in Spokane for an extended period of time to even see what all is missing. Am I Pleased….NOT ONE BIT! Your Movers with my Items, were careless and possible thieves.

Our storage was moved to a different location so they could do some construction work, which is fine. What was bad is that they gave me a one day notice of the move which did not allow me time to look over my things. There was no guarantee that what was moved if broken or missing would be replaced at no cost to me. Not happy with the lack of time given and hopefully nothing will be broken or missing.

They decided they were going to do some construction, whith that being said they said that I could move my stuff to another facility across town and that my rent would go up $15 to $20 for the inconvenience. Not how you treat your customers in my opinion and I will never use or refer anyone to Uhaul. I will say the young people that work at this facility are very nice. Tha manager made no attempt to make it right.

We have a U Haul rental unit in Sammamish (3 years) and everything has been fine. Unfortunately the Spokane unit had to be vacated at a time of year when weather conditions on Snoqualmie Pass are uncertain. For us this posed a significant inconvenience. First, this location is dangerous from the standpoint of homeless and transients. Second, u-haul damaged my possessions and vehicle ($5000) with their equipment and then refused responsibility. As we reviewed the accident on security cameras Management acknowledged the accident and acknowledged their mistake. But when turned over to RepWest (U-hauls insurance based in Phoenix) RepWest refused liability. U-haul refused my access to security camera recording and additionally disallowed employees to communicate with me. The local management is solid but corporate management (Jessica Brooks) is corrupt, dishonest and total lack of integrity. I transferred belongings to West Plains Storage in Airway Heights. WITH REGARDS TO SECURITY SAFETY OF YOUR POSSESSIONS DO NOT TRUST -U-HAUL STORAGE

I would give the overall experience 5 stars EXCEPT for the TINY elevators that make moving items to the upper floors inconvenient and much harder work than it should be. The elevator AND carts should be bigger. We are moving household items and furniture, for crying out loud. Other than that, the front desk management is excellent and the facility clean and brightly lit. Of all U-Haul facilities I've used, this one is the best other than those darn elevators.

Had water seep into the unit. My dining room table suffered water damage as a result. The table, wrapped in a quilt that was also damaged and soaking wet, was at the back of the unit. I was under the impression these units were water tight?

Pretty amazing facility and helpful staff. Great special rate on small locker. My only complaint is that I wanted to rent the plastic bins for a few weeks to help me with my move, but when I went into the store, the customer service rep couldn't figure out how to rent them. He called his manager, and she told him the steps but he still couldn't do it. So, after waiting at the counter for 15 minutes, I left emptyhanded. Nice enough young guy. Just not adequately trained.

Really appreciate the quick and convenient set up. Lisa was super helpful. The free lock is very nice. Great facility. Wonderful experience. Thanks. Lisa was also excellent when I rented the van today. Clean and well-managed facility.

Just wanted to give a shout out to the girl that helped me yesterday. She is excellent she said she's only been there a couple weeks but she is really good customer service skills and was professional and courteous. The only thing I was hoping to get closer to the elevator it was a little inconvenient trying to get my camper top up but other than that facility is great

I didn't even move into unit . I had no way of getting in building Because codes were not working and the manager could not come assist me. I would like a refund. I have never even seen the unit . Please refund my money. Thankyou Candice kysar
