The auto carrier was not available at the time promised when I made the reservation, which caused a significant delay in my move. More importantly, I was give the wrong type of AT for my lower profile car, which caused significant damage to my front fender. Need Larger Sign to identify where U-Haul Office is. Otherwise, very friendly, polite, and quick with the return check-in. Also, Google maps takes you through neighborhoods with truck restrictions to get to the location.Joseph L.

They charged me one extra day even they message me up to 4 pm no worries and I return before 2 pm. I call for night drop but from location says it is ok up to tomorrow 4 pm.After that when I go there to return they charged me extra day and says they will email me a receipt as a email didn't give me paper invoice.Never go there I am not recommended that location.NILESHM P.

I rented on line for the Roosevelt location but they changed it to the Agway location without telling me. When I went to the Roosevelt location they told me they didn't have a truck for me and I was supposed to pick it up at the Harrisburg location. I called back the number that phoned me the day before, which was the Agway location and they said they had my truck. Confusing. The Agway location forgot to put the refrigerator hand truck on the rental truck so my wife had to go back for the hand truck.Kevin N.

Bad experience ever. Never renting with these people again. Customer service is the worst. This is for u-haul company.not where I picked up the truck. That guy was nice u-hail was confusing and not clear about m mileage. When you called the 1800 representative were very rude.KEISHA K.

My only issue was that uhaul changed the location of pickup. It was 45 minutes from our destination. Why would you indicate that a truck would be available than making someone an hour and a half out of their way? I didn't get compensated to go out of my to pick up a truck that was supposed to be 10 minutes away.CHARLES H.

This van was filthy inside and out. I had to sweep it clean before I could use it. The cab was dirty also and the outside looked like they drove it through the mud. I've used Uhaul for many years and this was very disappointing. Left turn signal did not work.Joseph G.

booking with other locations was a nightmare this location was very helpfulTIMOTHY H.
So I possess a class A CDL with several commercial endorsements, I had to leave the commercial trucking industry for an unknown period of time due to making the decision to marry a wonderful woman who had been widowed with a large family. Before leaving the industry though I can guarantee you that I have well over a million miles under my belt and probably a quarter of a million driving backwards, I have ventured to every corner of the United States and driven in every climate and just about every undesirable condition there was. This was all said to give the reader a scope of how very important I know it is to make sure that the equipment one is about to use is in good working order has any prior damage noted and that myself the user is not going to be left holding the bag on any unknown damage. As I was doing a walk around inspection before leaving with the truck I did notice that there seem to be damaged to the front bumper cover which I did not see in the pictures of the truck presented to me for inspection purposes. With the knowledge I have of the industry I'm quite sure that this damage has already been documented and was not currently visible pictures as the trucks profile was in the process of being updated but just thought I would mention it in the event that something had been missed.Mike M.
Super easy to deal with. He went out of his way to get my rental and bring it back for me to use after hours. The car hauler was in perfect condition with new tires which is very important if you're driving 1000 miles with a heavy car on it. I certainly didn't want any surprises along the way.Terry S.

We had to drive an hour and a half to get a truck I made my reservation in March I did change the date from June 4 to may 28 they can see that in the computer the csr made the changes the. One 28. We almost didn't get a truck we where told we wouldn't have to pay for mileage and gas for that hour and a half that made us hAve to work overnight and then go back so we didn't sleep for 24 hours because hour and half of my own gas the hour and half home so wastes of personal car and the truck. The truck was supposed to be like 15 minutes to my home. The truck was dirty and I had to throw other peoples garbage away any clean off the sticky steering wheel and seat. This was by far a horrible experience the truck say gentle ride oh no my water that was more than half gone kept spilling from the hard bumps the entire way we bounced for hours. I've used haul many times and the two where so. Bad. I one year I will be moving again this was temporary move I will most definitely not be using uhaul. I can't even believe they charged me for all of this. And calling. What a joke.Mindy K.

It took over 20 minutes to both pick up and drop off a clean, fueled, reserved, trucked. The employee who checked the truck after I came back took his 20 minute smoke break INSIDE of the Uhaul while I was waiting on him inside. Furthermore, I was overcharged by more than double. I addressed it with the manager, and it was not handled properly. Instead of post voiding/canceling the transaction he tried to credit me back the difference. That money never made it back to my account (over $100).Jesse B.

I reserved the truck and trailer for Pickup at the Gettysburg location at least two weeks in advance and was called the day prior to the pickup date by customer service to be told that I had to drive to the York location because that where the equipment was located. I don't appreciate this situation caused by UHaul not fulfilling my requested location. Totally unacceptable when spending $3 000 on rental equipment.Theodore S.

I was able to find it when I was walking into the store to look for someone to assist me. Something flashed on my screen and immediately disappeared. The customer service through 1-800 uhaul is horrible. We got transferred more times then I can count trying to get a discount on our truck since we didn't get it til 7 hours after our scheduled pick up time due to the previous people not returning it.
