I didn't get the exact size van I booked, When I asked what happened to the one I booked she replied with attitude. She said could get the different size van for now or leave the place. Waiting time for the service was 35 minute. Very satisfied with the rental process unhappy with the person at the rental place.
lovin G.Terrible location. Maria who was the person at the location was very very, very, very rude and aggressive. She was quite condescending and gave me attitude. I came early to pick up my Uhaul truck and she could not help properly. She spoke to the customers outside the building and did not let anyone in. If she let customers in the building, then the process would be faster. She made a 10-15 minute check-in turn into a 50 minute check-in. She did not let customers inside the building to handle the request. She also did not want to give out paper receipt which was very odd. She was condescending because she claimed she was doing this Uhaul job for 20 years and was demeaning by saying "is this my first time renting a Uhaul truck" and "Uhaul truck stores don't give out paper receipts". She later begrudgingly gave out a receipt. There was no pre-inspection and all the other customers had to do it themselves. Also, she was irritated when I didn't immediately give out a second phone number. Usually, one phone number is enough when renting out a moving truck. This place was not friendly and many people in front of me were not happy and satisfied. I am not sure why she was unprofessional and was very irritated but I don't think this is a good way to handle customer service. I needed some extra clothes boxes but because she didn't let any customer in, I didn't buy any and it was a horrible experience. I don't recommend people coming here for Uhaul and trucking needs. Please stay away. Go to another nearby UHaul location!

Maureen L.Truck was not ready for contactless pickup. I had to wait until the person came and left with truck about 30 min after pick up time. No one was there when I went to drop it off on time, so I left the key in the drop box. Now they are trying to charge me double for dropping it off late. They are trying to charge me for gas that I made sure to overfill. They also added dolly rental charge twice for a dolly I never rented or had. I am in the process of disputing these fraudulent charges.

Sualupe S.U-haul called 3hrs before scheduled pickup to tell me they didn't have the truck I reserved (26ft) 3 weeks prior, and said all they could give me was a 10ft truck. I asked if would I receive a discount due to using a 10ft truck Id have to take 3x as many trips than anticipated, and she hung up on me. Called back and was transferred to scheduling to end up with the same rude representative who hung up on me again. I scouted all u-haul locations, and ended up finding a 20ft available with Yancey sandblasting. She was very helpful and better than u hauls direct representative who stated their wasn't a truck bigger than 10 in Los Angeles. Deal with local providers and never book online with Uhaul, they will cause you pain.
William B.The building was sketchy looking and looked like a run down falling apart old house with a security gated door that was locked. I had to call out for someone to come to the door. They did have plenty of trucks to rent though. Renting was quick and easy. Everything was done through the phone, no physical paperwork.

If I would've left it dirty you probably would've charged me instead of the actual culprit. The ashtray was dirty as well, so much for smoke free vehicles.

Marco H.Lady came to the door and told us to “hold on because she didn't know what she was doing and her “her customer service†wasn't that great todayâ€. We told her we had already done the check in and uploaded our license and paid for insurance so it shouldn't be to much to do. We returned the uhaul and the following day was charged DOUBLE. They charged us for 70 miles when we only drove 44,5 AND charged us $78 for fuel even though we put the gas exactly back where it was!! I tried to contact her and she said “I'll look at it and call you back†never called me back and doesn't answer the phone. Uhaul really needs to look into this location there are tons of Yelp and google reviews with very similar stories. Wish I would have seen them before hand I never would have accepted this place when the original uhaul called me and told me to go there instead! I've had over 50 uhaul rentals (I used them for contract work) and I have NEVER had an issue at all let alone something like this. Now me and my family are out of $120 because of this scammer!!! And I can't dispute it with my bank because it'll ruin my rental abilities with Uhaul.
Ronald W.Their is so many hidden fees they don't tell you about went from getting a truck that is $39,95 and only used 39 miles x $1,39= $54,21 and ended up getting charged $201. They charge you gas plus $30 extra for them filling up. This was. My first time ever renting a Uhaul but was not given a break down of all the extra charges they need better communication with customers

Marco H.the only thing i did not like is that Uhaul had change it fueling the gas in the vehicle was under 1/2 tank when returning the vehicle the fuel will either have to at the same level as when customer received the vehicle or pay premium fuel price. Im use to going over get the vehicle and head out to what I have to do its an inconvenience to have to go and fuel up then head out.

THOMAS W.The attendant never came out from her building to talk to me about the features of the truck, like where to find the gas tank, etc. The service was nothing more than "here's the key, don't bother me." On return, I tried calling the store from the gas station to find out where the gas tank was. No one answered. I tried calling the general UHaul number and a recording told me that there was a 50-minute wait to be helped. I found the plate for the gas tank. Then I luckily stumbled on finding the way to open the plate. When I got to the store no one was there. They had a sign that said I needed to put the key in a metal box mounted on the door or I would be charged $30.. The key was a modern key that was too large for the narrow slot to fit . The general UHaul number again told me there was a 50 minute wait. I was frantic. Luckily, about 20 minutes later, a friend of the owner walked over and opened the door. Never again!
Joseph M.First of all: THERE ARE NO U-HAUL TRAILERS AVAILABLE FOR ONE-WAY RENTAL IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA! I HAD A RESERVATION FOR A 5X8 TRAILER AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD CALL ME TO TELL ME WHERE TO PICK IT UP 2 DAYS BEFORE I WAS SCHEDULED TO DRIVE BACK TO MY HOME (NOT IN CA). THEY DID CALL 4 DAYS BEFORE AND INFORMED ME THAT THERE WERE NO TRAILERS OF ANY SIZE FOR ME...TOO BAD! I COULD HAVE RENTED THE TRAILER IN MY HOME STATE, PULLED IT TO LA, CA, KEPT IT FOR 2 WEEKS THERE PAYING A DAILY FEE AND BROUGHT IT BACK TO MY HOME FOR LESS COST THAN RENTING 1 WAY...IF THEY HAD TOLD ME IN ADVANCE THAT THERE WOULD BE NOTHING AVAILABLE!!! I ENDED UP HAVING TO RENT A TRUCK AT MORE THAT TWICE THE TRAILER COST. Regarding this pick up location: I arrived at the agreed to time to pick it up but the sign on the door said "Closed". I knocked and got no response. Finally someone walked by the door and I asked for help. She asked my name, disappeared through another door and a couple minutes later came back . She opened the screen door slightly and handed me a key and told me I could take the truck. I asked for the paperwork and she said there was none. I asked if previous damage was noted anywhere and she told me I could check the truck. I checked the truck and took pictures of each damaged area and we left.

Tommy T.Uhaul changed my originally scheduled pickup from another location because drop off time was not compatible. In the process they changed my request for a box truck into a van, and deleted my insurance. Yanceys was acommodating, though, and I was able to change it back to a truck and add the insurance again. Everyone I spoke to were cordial. This location does not check the truck at the time of pick up and drop off, so you will have to go through taking pictures on Uhaul.com yourself.

JASON PAUL-MATTH E.I reserved a truck for mobile pickup at 9am. I even have the email that shows I was guaranteed a truck by 9am. When I arrived ahead of time, and tried to pick up my truck, it told me that I would have to do in-person pickup at 9:30am because this location did not set things up for mobile pickup and did not think to contact me about the change.
