It wasn't clean in back. Glass and stuff in there. I asked the lady she said she doesn't clean them she just rents them out. I cleaned it myself. Not sure if that's policy or not she said the customer cleans not her so I guess the last customer didn't clean and she didn't feel the need to for the next customer. I'm Not mad I don't really care but you ask for feedback so I'll give it. Plus rexters self storage in Gainesville Texas is saying I owe 300 for storage and charging me for November when she's kicking me out I don't even understand how it could say that on my account. I'm less satisfied as I have ever been with uhaul but again I'm Not angers just dissatisfied. ThanksShawn C.
The clerk had no idea how to check in my rental. I spent over an hour there and I still don't have a receipt. The manager was not on site and said he would check my rental in remotely. The clerk at the gas staion literally said he hates Uhaul and hates doing rentals. I won't be using Uhaul anymore. I need someone from customer service to make sure I was charged correctly.RON S.

I showed up up 7:20am for a 7:30am pick up very long story after 3 calls to uhaul and alot of back and forward I finally left with a truck 9am. Worst yet they charged me for the time I sat in store trying to get truck due to lady not being trained to properly rent out vehicles. The straw for me though was once I came to return truck I was told rudely that next time I want a truck come after 10a cause there busy with customers (like I'm not one) and the morning lady doesn't have time to deal with it. The truck itself was clean but the brakes had issue and the transmission was slipping extremely bad. I have used this location 2 times before without issue but this was unacceptable. I wonder is that a uhaul policy that posted hours of operation subject to when we got time for you......Cliff R.

But unfortunately the vehicle after leaving had AC issues and did not work 90 % of the travel time making it very uncomfortable and during a heat warning. So the locations were ok but the vehicle made the oversal experience a complete failure. Especially since you have in bold letters nice cooked ac cabin. Big failure. I feel I overpaid and honestly should be refunded 100 % because when I called to complain the guy showed no interest and said just note it on the return. This location and store were okay. The reason I am giving it a poor rating is because the U-Haul person was not on site, when I arrived to return the truck, and I was erroneously charged for an extra day on the rental, when I had actually returned the truck an hour and a half early. I called to resolve this matter, when I was emailed a receipt with the charges, and once I was able to get in touch with the guy, he said I would need to contact someone at U-Haul.com, even though his store was the one charging me, and he offered no other solution or apology. Thankfully, I had taken a picture of the mileage and fuel level on my phone, so it showed the date and time of my return, and the customer service at U-Haul was able to refund the charge. I would not recommend renting from or returning equipment from this location, however.TERI A.

Everything was great except the windshield wipers were in horrible condition. It rained and I couldn't see a thing hardly when I had to use the wipers. Could be dangerous. They need to be replaced. Probably got overlooked when doing routine maintenance.Wesley Y.

The site did not have the 10' truck I reserved and I had to upgrade to 20'. Worked out okay but would be nice to know in advance.Mark H.
There was a lot wrong with everything. I go to pick up truck and guy hands me the keys. Doesn't walk me out to the vehicle. I go back into store bc the key didn't work on the truck I thought it was. He then told me I had to go to the back. I walk through wet knee high grass and finally find the right truck. Get in and get all the way home to realize no dollys or pads were in the truck. I went back to get dollys and pads. No pads available and got one dolly. By the time I got back we did not need dolly as the guys physically lifted those items. Very frustrating when you are on a time crunch to get things done and the store was over 30 min one way away. My invoice still shows all the supplies and extra miles for driving back to the store need to be adjusted.Jennifer L.

The people there were rude. The guy that rented it took half hour to finish the check in and give me the key. He asked me all kind of personal questions about what I was doing. Because of this I finished my move late and had to return the equipment after hours which added an extra $27 charge. Also, the location that he sent me for drop off had the roads closed so I couldn't get in and when I called U-haul to get an alternative location the wait time was 20 minutes. I called back to this location for advice only to be scolded and treated very rudely by whomever answered the phone. I will never use U-haul again for my moves.LILLIAN M.
First the Person checking me out was yelling at me because I could not provide the address of where the truck will be return. Not my problem. I offered to google an address for him but it was not good enough. He contacted his manger 3 or more times for assistance, placing him on speaker, hard to hear. They could understand I was trying to move purchased exercise equipment from Gainesville to Mckinney. it did not make sense to this uhaul agent. He claimed I did not understand the Uhaul software, ok, not my job or problem. I just wanted to rent the truck and return it at a location near my home. The rep was not very friendly. The truck was supposed to have a dolly but didn't. I had to sweep out the back of the truck myself. There was also trash left over in the cab that wasn't cleaned out.Cynthia T.
The location was actually fine, but it was after hours when I dropped off. No one answered the phone and the app wouldn't work. So, I just put the key in the box and left the truck parked out front. Not sure if that was proper procedure . Would like more clear instructionsREBECCA N.

The equipment was in good standing. It hadn't been swept before we left with it but we returned it that way. Not a bad location overall just rough service. The lady didn't seemed trained in renting so was asking us questions to turn us away. Luckily another one was there and guided her. It took forever to get the contract completed because they had to wait on people buying cokes, candy, chips and etc. When that was completed we found out the rental had no pigtail for the lights. I was told they didn't have one if we would drive approx. 5 miles and purchase one I would be reinbused, which I did.charles A.

I asked if they would help me load my car onto the car carrier since I had no experience. They would not do that. When I hired men to assist in loading the truck and carrier they found the left strap that secured the wheel was broken. On the trip we hit rain. Wipers were bad and no washer fluid. So I had to buy some. I don't like people putting my life at risk!!! Very poor experience! Why would you send a client on an 800 mile trip with a vehicle in those conditions? My car was stuck in highway. Stuff went to another location to pick up equipment for me. Excellent servicemary D.
When I called to make a reservation, the lady would answer "Hello". I had to call a couple of other times and again she would answer "Hello". It is standard practice that a business answer the phone with the name of the business. I pick up the U-haul trailer from the gas station. I go to the red-headed lady cashier and she starts to line me out with the equipment. Instead of finishing with me, she tends to a customer (three interruptions). While I was finishing with her, she does an about face to answer her personal phone. I went to connect the trailer and found about an inch of organic material, cotton, string, and broken pieces of plastic on the forward third of the flatbed trailer. I was in a rush and needed to leave.mike T.

the location I was given was not correct, not at 51 storage rather down the road at the Texico gas station. The the rental contract was done over the phone and had to repeat most of the information that was already in my reservation. When I returned the clerks had no idea what to do about returning the equipment. I called U haul to make sure it was checked in, it was not. I had to do a little maintenance with some WD40 on the ratchet straps.Brian S.

Staff was extremely friendly amd helpful. 10/10 Could be more parking space. Could also mention that the drop off is at the gas station not 51 self storage. 51 self storage had the smallest parking lot ever and it was extremely hard to get 2 vehicles out once we finally figured out that it wasnt actually at that location.Ira B.

I rented the uhaul for 1 day but because of the weather it was stuck in the mud so I had to keep it longer. I contacted uhaul and was told they wouldn't charge me for all of it but they did. And I only went 10 miles so the gas gauge didn't go down like they are showing. Not very happyAmanda E.
Asked for a specific location to drop off, and owner asked me about how many miles I needed and proceeded to book me for a in-town trip which required me to drive all the way back from where I moved from to bring it back by 8pm that night. I specifically asked for a drop off in my new city. So after a full day of moving I had to bring it back to that location to avoid a $250 charge!! Not happy!!Deborah R.

I put in more gas then I was spoused to it had 3 quarters when I started and I knocked it down to 1/2 a tank then I put in $30 in and it filled it to full and when I asked if the extra gas I put in would be taken of the total price they told me no we don't do that in that's why I will never use halls company ever againstephen M.

This is a convenience store, so plan on being there a long time to get things complete.They have customers to tend to at the same time, with one agent. Make sure to get things taken care of before you leave. This way you don't have to deal with â€œ you did not return utility Dollie ( that you never left with in the first place) . Also truck was not clean, it was that way when we picked it up. It was a mess to rent at this location & caused so many issues when we returned it. Awesome ppl at the location we returned it to. They take great care of customers & equipment.linda V.
