It was a line. One of the customer that was behind me and said he never had to wait for reservation. I was thinking the same thing. Maybe because it was right after Easter. But it should be a faster way of getting the truck rental. Maybe it should be someone outside for reservation only. The company already has the customer info and all we need to do is give the reservation number and confirm everything. Just scan our license and move on. Just like it easy to drop it off

I rented a furniture dolly, but the guy behind the counter said they didn't have one and hasn't seen one in a number of years. The location is very shady, and if you aren't from Memphis, you'd have a hard time understanding the personnel. What you could do is not change the location of the pickup. I requested one near me, and it was changed. I realize that things change, but it was over 25 minutes from my original requested location. It's crazy to move it that far out and then be charged for those miles back.

The young lady that assisted me was great . It was wonderful to work with very professional she was so great I asked her name so that i could give her a great report . Brianna . I had to call back because i had an issue with a charge she assisted me with it but the system was down . I have been there other times when my children move from my house because its close. I have never received the customer service I received from her and it was not just me .The lady before me she was just as kind. I wanted to express how wonderful she was. i have worked with the public for 34 years so i know when someone is exceptional . Way to go Brianna Also the truck was not in good shape this is the reason for just average, But with Brianna i wanted to say something..she was exceptional. She is an asset to your business.

I rented a unit through U--Haul for about 2 years and my experience was great from beginning to end!!! I moved my belongings out using their online move out process which worked really well for me and upon me moving out.. I DID NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MY BELONGINGS BEING MOLDED unlike another storage facility I used in the past and it was climate controlled as well. But thank you U-Haul for good services and accommodations!!! Happy customer here

The need more members on hand working the customer service counter and especially on the weekends. It only my Man working doing everything and plenty of customers waiting in line for awhile. Some of the customers were very upset due to fact of the shorted handed of staff members .This poor man he had to check the customers in then he had to run outside to work then come back and finish with the customers臘‍♀️臘‍♀️. If they need to hire more people then that's what needs to be done and people with a good attitude like the young man who assisted us that Saturday Morning on March 2nd 03/02/24. Thanks in Advance

Terrible staff. Picked up the truck but the clerk forgot to give me the dolly. I left thinking it was in the truck. I had to drive back. What's the point of online check-in if you are going to be ask the same questions when you pick up the truck.

When the customer comes into the store,,please say hello, and acknowledge them standing there, even if they receptionist has a customer, just say "hello and someone will be with you in a moment ".A hello goes along way.

I am just at a lost with what all it take for a customer to rent a truck? I have to refuel*check for mechanical issues*truck damage*cleaness of the truck*repot issues about the truck*check it out *Check it in. Again why do you anyone at the location. The u haul building on mendenhall works with me. Great service! If I'm late, I'm given time to pay with a late fee. The late fee doesn't bother me because in the end I still have all my belongings with no damage. Thanks

The key for the truck was stuck and couldn't be removed without fear of breaking the key in the ignition. Reserved one dolly and had to upgrade begrudgingly in order to have one for the move.

First I would like to say it took longer than it should've. I wasn't walked out to my vehicle to make sure I found the right one. I had to walk around and look in the top corner for my number. Nobody did a inspection on the truck before I left nore was the gas checked. I was told to bring it back on half when I drove off it only had 1/4 in the tank. Customer service wasn't up to par at all. Very low quality. Nobody genuinely seemed like they had any type of positive enthusiasm to help people. But hey I was at able to move my furniture!!

I need U-Haul to put my money back on my card. I returned the truck back in hour I paid a $100 , but the truck was 64,65 and filled the tank up. The agent said that the money with refund back to my card.

When I moved my belongings out of the storage unit, none of the big sliding doors were working so we had to use a regular sized door, share it with several other people. And none of the carts were working well because the tires were messed up do too going over a huge metal bump at the door we had to use. Just a mess and for no reason. The facility is just trash. And the employees are rude.

I wasn't fully informed about the storage security upon purchase, I setup a pin number but I wasn't aware that you enter the pin number in the alarm system first then into the entrance key pad. I was given a second floor unit and the elevator didn't work, I returned to switch to a first floor unit but I had to stand in a long line to switch units. The problem was I already rented a truck and this took away from the time I had available on the truck.

I was told by the rep at the 800 number that I had made a reservation and my storeroom would be waiting for me when I arrive at your facility. It wasn't. A "ghost" had moved stuff into my unit and put a lock on it. They didn't know who. I was left with nothing. Had to change to a more expensive unit after waiting around for at least an hour. Two different clerks were trying to figure out what to do. Not cool to be promised and then have to pay more for something I didn't want. One clerk was not aware there is a special that I was trying to take advantage of ti get the first month free after renting an enclosed trailer. He did not know what to do and was not going to give me the special since "there was no button for that." Not cool.

When I picked up the U-Haul my experience was AWSOME, but coming in and purchasing my storage OMG the young caucasian lady was in a up roar crying not able to focus on the subject at hand which was taking care of the customer. So then after Brandon took over and allowed her to take a break she still wouldn't go outside and chill take a deep breath, No!!!!!!! She goes out back and start swearing INSTEAD of just going to her car to chill out all together. Myself I thought it was very unprofessional, rude, and uncalled for. Overall my experience was cool I would use you all again. Personal moving is stressful as is and we as customers don't need the extra stress…. Sincerely Yours

I went to the store at 6:00am . Braydon or Brandon was the only employee on shift , he was a jewel to that location . It took an hour and twenty minutes to complete my reservation. Although Braydon handle the jobs of 5 staff members on his one and your company do not deserve such employee .

I reported to the 3561 Mendenhall u-Haul storage and I was greeted by Miss Jasmine awesome person great smile great personality pleasant to talk to she got me in and out with a truck and a storage unit everything was wonderful pleasant to come back there again Jasmine was a awesome person. I called on 14 February to see if my unit closed out and who do you know answered the phone Miss Jasmine awesome so glad that she assist me in my beginning and my end thank you Jasmine keep up the good work. if you want a good storage unit if you need a truck or anything ask for Jasmine at Mendenhall she's an awesome person greet you with a smile and she knows her job she gets you in and out.

First of all my move out date was 12/31/2022. The staff failed to note that I checked out of the U-haul storage on the day of 12/31/2022. I still expect and demand a refund for a January payment that was taken from my card and I no longer had a storage unit in 2023! December's payment was made for December!!

The truck was not a good one, the windshield wiper was worn and not working properly. We ran into rain on the mountain and fog. There was a leak in the cabin. And the entry access didn't work nor the elevator. So I had to drop off things at another facility and pay more money, no first month fee waived. And I would.like to speak to someone about a possible credit for the hassle and inconvenience I experienced on the move

Was handed paperwork and was unaware that a map was provided to me to locate my unit. Building could be more well lit. I figured they were automatic lights but in some areas that I walked in the lights still didn't cut on

I booked a storage online, 10x20. I got to the location and checked in. Went to find my storage unit before I left, and there was someone already moving into the same unit I had just received. Went back inside and waited, gave me another unit number. I went to check that storage unit and it was a 10x5. I go back inside wait in line once again just for them to tell me they don't have any of the large storage units available. So I was unable to return the uhual or get another storage elsewhere due to it being a Sunday afternoon.

So I've had a unique experience at this location, I rented a truck and a unit. I left the keys in the truck and went home after I returned the truck, Alex i believe his name is, was very helpful and amazing customer service. Unfortunately, when I returned to locate the keys, the GM and another associate told me they looked into the truck and no keys were located, I was told that there was nothing they could do to help me. I proceeded to look into the truck and saw the keys where I left them. I don't understand why it was so hard to just go and look for me when I'm the customer and dealing with this issue.

was mislead by U-haul employee 2 years ago "Carol' located at 3561 S Mendenhall Road, Memphis, TN customer appliances was (supposedly) be in a climate weather storage by, customer was relocating to another state. Family member went last month to move appliances out )double wide refrigerator ) was totally destroyed dued to heat. A 3 year old fridge practically still new was stained and molded bad!! Of course, customer had insurance but the amount paid out wasn't nearly what customer paid out. A well lesson learned to not trust U-haul employees.

I was held up from my move for almost an hour while the person serving me seemed to not know what she was doing, took another customer in the middle of my rental, without asking me, then proceeded to take her time with him, including debating a rate increase. On I was finally sent to the unit, it was not as explained on the phone, there was no help in locating the unit, in fact I was given the wrong information, My driver was costing me extra money because of the insanely long delay. After realizing that the building I was sent to did not even house the unit I had rented, I gave up, went back to the office and cancelled the entire rental. By far the worst rental experience ever! I manage a Storage Facility, this was a disgraceful exhibition of Storage Rental. It ended up costing me almost $100 in additional expenses and I ran out of daylight. Train your staff, that is a challenging setup, bad staff only makes it worse.

It was the worse experience I've ever encountered. The staff were horrible. Staff were on their personal cell phone having personal conversation while myself and other customers were being waited on.
