Larry SMy reservation went smooth as glass, however when I came to pick up my trailer, your app and computer system was down. The folks at the Leavenworth store were amazing, and worked around it however this is not the first time the U-Haul app and the electronic billing / reservation system for U-Haul has been problematic.
John RI reserved a 10x10x10 storage unit. I got 2 closets instead. I was already having a difficult move and having to put my things in storage was a temporary solution until I could get a new lease finalized. If a 10x10x10 was not available it should have never been advertised as being available and 2 closets should not have been the solution. I didn't have the time to adjust as my rental truck was due back and I didn't need the stress of trying to locate another storage facility with the actual size I needed. Just a bad experience overall And it was not the storage facilities fault. I reserved online and the online system was ultimately responsible

Shane BI had to call multiple times for a change of delivery location. Yet, the store received the incorrect address. I had to talk again with the store staff to correct the delivery address. Very poorly managed central software system. Nothing gets updated.

A lady came from The office and said oh well you will have to take it through the regular door. This was the second time we dealt with extreme rudeness and unprofessional employees. David SI didn't understand why you get the code online but you can't get in until you check in with the office didn't understand why the maps are inside the units when you have to ask where they are or go inside the office to see where it is on the television and was informed by a worker that the garage doors break very often. The employees were very friendly and helpful. They seemed happy to answer any question that you had and that we weren't a bother coming into the store. Will rent from them again and again. Best moving company I have ever dealt with. I will tell you that I use moving companies and storage places very often. Love the fact that they will buy boxes back if you didn't use them that is a great benefit to have cause I always buy too many and have no use for them.

April SI had an emergency with my son's broke down car. I needed to get it home from Kansas city I knew it would take forever & cost a fortune to call a tow truck so I called the Leavenworth U-Haul & rented a pickup & trailer. They were so helpful & fast getting me set up, I left there at 4pm picked the car up & dropped it off at home & returned the truck & trailer a little after 6pm. I'll tell you it was a brand new Truck & the trailer worked so well so easy to load & unload. Thanks U-Haul !!!

Gary HEmployees were super friendly! Was an overall nice interaction for the short time I was there. I will say though that the truck I rented came to me with low fuel on just about a quarter tank. I am not overly comfortable with larger trucks so I did not feel comfortable taking it to a gas station without incident. Hoping in future the tanks will start off more full to accommodate. Otherwise a great experience overall!

Instead I had to make an unsafe drive just to save 200 dollars. This company doesn't care about its customers and I'll be sure to keep people away from your business. Andrew TThe only concern I have, is that I was quoted, and confirmed, a total cost of $48.40, but ended up being charged over $60.00. Also put extra gas in truck when finished. I am on disability due to Systemic Amyloidosis w/CHF and CKD, so I am on disability. Being a senior, and because my income has been significantly reduced from what it used to be, I must make every penny count. The gentlemen we worked with were very kind, as were the lovely folks I spoke with on the phone. Wishing you all a very peaceful holiday surrounded by loved-ones. Stay Blessed, Debbie

clifford hWhen I cancelled the big unit we were renting, it was 4 days after making a monthly payment. There was NO PRORATED REFUND!!! YOU SUCK IN THAT REGARD!!! THEN THE UNIT WAS RENTED TO ANOTHER PERSON WELL BEFORE MY CONTRACT PERIOD THAT I PAID FOR WAS UP!!!! THAT IS AT BEST UNETHICAL AND SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!!!! I really should DISPUTE that payment with my credit card company.

Rhiannon C | Expérience généraleMy only issue is not with the facility. It is with your app. When I rented the unit, I provided a credit card which is still in my profile. Both months that I was charged the credit card was not processed and I was hit with a late fee. After the first time, I checked to ensure the card on file was valid and that I had signed up for auto pay. The send billing cycle it occurred again. If I had intended to need the storage unit long term, it may be enough for me to consider not using U-Haul as the point of auto pay is not not have to worry about the billing cycle date and prevent not paying bills on time.

As the only way to fit a 1 bedroom apartment in the unit is by stacking stuff on top of one another which can be hard if some furniture isn't as study.

My first time ever having to use storage or a rental truck and they were so kind to me. Thank you to everyone who works there!! Returned the truck after hours and right in the middle of it my daughter's phone lost power. So couldn't finish. When I called the help number the person I got was just very uncaring and I guess I was wasting his time..that's how he acted. But when I contacted my 4th Street U-Haul in the morning they had everything under control, no issues, no problems and even said they owed us 89cents, lol, of course they can keep it! They are wonderful!

Have supplies to fix the doors ( I had to go purchase a carriage bolt and nut to fix the door 3. Add to your phone system the option to speak with someone about your storage unit. Everyone I spoke with in the office was cheerful and helpful. The only suggestion I would have is to have some trash bins added. There was no trash can available for disposing of, even small, items.

The staff is wonderful. The place was clean and easily accessible with the card access. Good alarm system. The carts are a God-send. Thank you U-Haul! And I also really liked the small area to leave items that were no longer wanted. Others could take them if wanted, or U-Haul disposed of them. Great place. Would recommend to others.

The staff was extremely friendly and quick to assist me with returning my rental and getting a storage unit. The bay doors were super convenient because our arrival day was rainy, so our stuff did not get wet when transferring from the truck to our unit. Will definitely recommend this store to friends. Give your janitorial staff a raise- the bathrooms were always immaculate!

I was given 2 indoor units that were very far apart from each other and had to pay more. I ended up leaving to have find outdoor units in another town which caused me to rent the U-Haul truck for an additional day. This lead to $80 in additional gas, lost help, and inconvenience of having to move again . Very disappointed

I had to drive to Parkville when I live in Leavenworth and did all the inquiry and establishing service in Leavenworth. I emphasized how important Leavenworth for the pick up and return was necessary so even if a smaller vehicle had to be used I would do that versus go somewhere else. It was acknowledged by the employee. Employee also did the online reservation. Total screw up and misleading/shady. Secondly, my storage unit which I reserved three weeks earlier suddenly was "kicked out of the system with six other people"…….. not acceptable. The worst organization skills ever seen and the two females at Leavenworth location are absolutely horrible, argumentative, unprofessional,aggressive and attacking employees. Definitely incompetent, and they couldn't even answer simple basic questions about the business. I expect refunds for all the MULTIPLE ERRORS at the Leavenworth location w my rental and storage unit. The Parkville location did fine.

We saw no difference in front versus back, except for ability to pull completely inside in the back. Very inconvenient if you have alot to unload and your unit is at the back of building.

Toward the end, and/or when trying to secure a different space, I was told corporate held spaces, nor would they communicate timely, which cost me an additional $39,95 (month storage)by being a day outside of the grace period and there was no pro rate as per one of the representatives. When trying to rent a trailer, another representative was pushing a lot of buttons and not communicating what was being done, states that my information is not in the system (sounds fraudulent and indicative of mischievous activities). You're in a customer service roll, you deal with customers, you have to talk to people, have them understand what you're doing... You are the face of uHaul. Thus far, unsatisfactory performance all the way around. Disappointed!

Richard M | Premières impressionsOur 10x20 storage unit was not 10x20, rather two 10x10 units. This was not disclosed anywhere. One of the first units we were assigned had a pole going right through the middle of the unit, taking up space and usefulness. Pricing on our map of units was inaccurate (according to the worker.) We were able to exchange units but the set up was far less than ideal for moving a 26 ft Uhaul worth of items to storage. Very narrow hallways & one 10x10 unit had a large roll open door, while the other 10x10 unit had a much smaller walk through door making it very difficult to maneuver large items.

One of the members spent a good amount of time trying to resolve an issue higher ups in the company had made. Ridiculous that I reserved a unit and the store was unable to get me that unit because of flaws in the Uhaul system. Now, I had a truck full of stuff. So I had to spend more money to get a unit size I didn't make the reservation for! Like that's not my issue y'all messed up! Big props to Ali who was working at the time. I was searching for other storage places when he told me the news. However, he was able to find me a similar unit and really sold me with his customer service.
