The staff was excellent, but there was a major problem with the U-Haul online server causing it to be extremely slow, and after many attempts and an extremely long line, they decided to do the check outs manually. I was held up for over an hour and ended up being late for an event. U-Haul needs to fix issues with their software as it seems to be a constant issue!!!

It's close to my residence, the new facility is wonderful, just unfortunate that the freight elevator isn't functioning for moving things in. We we were limited to what we could move in one trip because of limited elevator space.

Mike, the manager, is easily by far the best person I've had the pleasure of dealing with at uhaul. I go there a lot and every time without fail it's the best time I've had at a uhaul location. By far the best location for uhauls

Arthur and informed me that he could sell me a 2-in receiver hitch for my Mazda 2. However, the hitch that was installed is a 1 and 1/4 in receiver with only a 150 lb tongue weight capacity. I made it clear to him that I plan to haul two electric bikes and a bike rack. The weight is far more than 150 lb. Further, he told me the installation would take only one and a half hours. When he finally called me just shy of 3 hours later, I mentioned to him I thought it took longer than he said it wouldn't he said well I had other things to do. Your salesman/hitch installer is rude and does not provide the service as promised.

We had an issue with the truck. There was a leak and it was raining hard. We lost some product but was taken care of upon return! Staff and management is awesome!

The only "complaint" I have was the locks on the lockbox was tough to get open and a pain to use. Maybe change lock type. Otherwise, great overall experience

This location is squeaky clean and organized. Mike was extremely helpful. He listened keenly and got us exactly what we needed. Mike is an excellent staff. Difficult to find a CS rep as attentive and focused on the client as Mike. He's a gem. Lucky to have him on your staff. I would recommend this location to friends & Family in a heartbeat. The manager at this site was named Mike, i think. I forget his last name. He and the other guy were amazing ! They made the rental process smooth and seamless. I would definitely use Uhaul in the future but would make sure to use this facility because here they know what they are doing and run it like a well-oiled machine. I was really flabbergasted by what a great job these guys do. This has to be the best uhaul location in the US. Thumbs up to Mike (I think that was manager's name...?) and his amazing team !

No big deal. Fuel was at 3/4 full. When refilling back tank to return truck, its hard to gage when tank is at 3/4. Suggest to keep all your trucks at full.

I scheduled an 8:00am pickup through the app. When I arrived to pick up the truck the app said a vehicle was not assigned so I had to call an 800 number. They told me the reservation was entered correctly but the person that was supposed to leave a key failed to do so and no one would be there until 9am. I had 10 people waiting for me to help me move but I had to wait an hour for someone to show up in order to get the truck.

The lack of respect i received from this location was absolutely horrible the location manager completely berated an employee in front of customers then proceeded to take him outside of the store leaving customers inside alone for over 29 minutes and then threatened to fire him should he give a refund for a mistake made by her! Can not say enough how absolutely terrible of a person and employee that woman is definitely not the person you want running a U-Haul establishment!

The back lift door was very hard to open and closed Because I hurt my back trying to open the door made the move not easy I did bring this up to the person who checked me in As usual there was no apology mentioned I am all done renting from Uhaul This is not the only issue that I have had Issues also from the past The only thing I would say that is on a postive note there was a man he said he's new and he just started it, he had offered to drive the truck around the building to meet me at my car instead of me walking through ice and snow to retrieve the truck. Kudos to him, I wish I asked his name

Very satisfied with U haul pods service. We had 2 pods packed in Fla and delivered to Eastern Massachusetts. Months later had 3 pods delivered to our E. Massachusetts home where we packed pods, they were placed in storage for several months and delivered to our final destination in Northern Massachusetts. Very good service.

Absolutely horrendous move due to the truck's quality and maintenance. Truck barely made it the 140 mile round trip. ABS light came on and truck sputtered half way to my destination. Only pleasant experience was dropping the keys off back and getting back in my personal vehicle.

Employ is need to ignorage customers when they arrive even if they can't attend them at the current moment. Also need to be a little bit more polite. Have been to this location a few times and have received vehicles that have not been cleaned and or sanitized.

Attendant at site was very helpful and professional. Vehicle was clean and well maintained. In northern climes like MA would recommend putting a ice scraper on board - attendant had to find a soft scraper and clear the windows.

Drop off was a nightmare. Staff behind closed doors . Had to wait even though I was the only one there during pick up and drop off. So many trucks lined up I couldn't drive around to drop off trailer and no staff to help Overall not great experience

I would definitely recommend this service to anyone but would say you need to go a Few Extra boxes from what is recommended. It was tight and close and actually ordered an additional one before they were dropped of . Get experience overall.

Need to have more standard Dolly's. Twice now I've reserved one only to be stuck with a very heavy appliance dolly which is just too heavy

$79,95 is a little pricey for a 5x10 but manageable. Was $74,95 which was still pricey. I think $50 would be much more manageable. Definitely would not be late at all paying that. Anyways, all is fine.

Make sure the extras you paid for (like pads & dolly) are actually in the vehicle. They charged me for the extra I selected but didn't place in the vehicle .

I got a call from uhual they told me my storage unit was wide open and the lock went missing they couldn't show me cameras I had my key with me so I couldn't lock it up without taking my key out of the lock so we will never know what happened with my storage unit and they wouldn't help me try to figure it out. Besides My personal belongings had a lot mold.

I worked with a young man (by the name of Corey Perez, I believe) who was very nice. He helped me set everything up, brought me to my unit, and upon realizing that the previous tenant left the unit a mess, he immediately apologized / cleaned it! He was very sweet. Made the whole process seamless. Moved right in! Give him a raise.

I had a great experience with staff from my move from CT & using a large size storage for 8 months then downsizing again for another 4 months - Nick & Sharon were always willing to assist, answer questions, adjust payment types or whatever I needed! My rental vehicles were always available as scheduled which does not always happen making things as smooth as possible ! The outside storage was accessible, well lit and clean! I felt safe no matter what time I popped by! If you're looking for storage or a rental - call them 1st! You won't be disappointed..

When I initially went to get the unit they said that the first month was free and didn't ask for any money. (They were still building the units; I was an early bird customer). But when I went online to pay for the second month I learned that the first month was not free and was overdue and even was charged a late fee. I had so much going on at the time that I never tried to inquire. I just paid it. But, it was not a good experience. Especially, after I had spent so much with the bins and moving truck for many days, etc.etc. Since you're asking I'm telling you this story. I never called UHaul. They also kept charging me for months for two Uboxes after I had returned those two. I got that finally straightened out so they stopped charging me but never got reimbursed for the wrongfully charged months. It doesn't seem right but who has the time to call, be on hold for a long time, keep getting connected to someone else and have to tell the story over and over then wait days and days lol. So, it is what it is I guess. Since you are asking this was my experience. Otherwise, it's good.

My furniture and other household items and clothing were stored here for 3 mos,. In between I would bring miscellaneous items. The unit was clean, no rodent droppings, and no musty odor. We just moved everything out and into our home. I was quite relieved that there was no cobwebs or odors on anything! The staff is extremely helpful, and friendly especially Sharyn!

My overall experience was not good. Reserved two climate controlled units and a large moving truck. We showed up to get the truck only to find the larger size truck we reserved was not available. NOR were the unit sizes we reserved. Instead of making one trip with the big truck, it took two trips in the smaller truck. Squished household items and boxes into the smaller units. About two months later, I stopped by the unit to retrieve an item, only to find out the units my items were in were were NOT in the climate controlled section of the building. Pest Control box was INSIDE one of the units. "You need to let us know if a critter gets in the box, as we don't have access to your unit and the critter can't get out. It will die and smell." said the young sales associate at the counter that I spoke to. I inquired about moving to a section of the building that had climate control, only to be told there was a 25+ person waiting list. EXASPERATED. I found a new storage company, hired movers (again) and moved my items out of Uhaul. Needles to say I am disappointed with my experience at this facility. Q#4 Where the Staff Helpful/Friendly - courteous, yes. But they did not seem concerned with my plight about not having the reserved truck, or the reserved units not being available, size of the wait list to access the climate controlled section of the facility. Q#5 Was the facility clean and well maintained? For the most part yes The facility presents as being neat. However, it was very obvious that there were mice in the facility based on the visible droppings in the hallways. (refer back to comment about pest control box inside unit)

Although I do not want to give a negative rating to the staff, I feel the need to do so. For the second time I lost money by claiming a wrong charge to my account. After I agreed to put gas in the truck I was renting, they refunded me an amount less than what I had to spend, even though I had my receipt as proof of how much I was going to be reimbursed. The second thing for which I am very upset is that they had offered me the rental of the truck for a certain amount and in the end I ended up paying double, according to the employee that was something established but I had no knowledge about it.

First, I had and been asking to get a smaller unit since may of 2021, always told there are no small units available. I asked for smaller unit because I only had two items that need storing. This past month, October, my payment is due on the 30th of each month, it was October 1,2021, you placed a lock on my unit for being one day late. The place is very clean and secure, but your employees, customer service, and hours there are horrible. Examples, it would take me times that I help because I card not working over half hour, with nobody there. Then there is the hours, there is uhaul employees either not there on hours of operations or they have door lock and they are inside. I am glad I'm out of there and I will not go back k to that uhaul.

The U-Haul storage lock was never removed therefore I had trouble getting a hold of customer service due to them closing two hours early and I had to pay an extra day for my truck due to the inconvenience of a lock. I could not unload my truck until 24 hours later.

Scheduling and In-store Staff awere helpful. There was no fence securing storage area and it was accessible via side street. The store looked fine; however, the storage area was located behind an old vacant building which made the area look like a JUNK YARD. I in and moved out a few days later. I was forced to pay movers twice and cancelled my 1 month FREE unit. I paid for 2 trucks due to difficulty trying to communicate from out of state via telephone with local Methuen facility questions. Price of 1st truck was billed for two days intentionally then refunded later. Change in location of 1st truck caused me to have find new mover helpers after truck was in hand. Price of 2nd truck was $200 more than online quote 1 week earlier. SIGNIFICANT DISCOUNT should be given for horrible experience due to lack of communication with local facility. Now I am being bill toll violations when I have made numerous calls to proactively pay tolls. Admin fees should be credited. I was told that I would be emailed or texted when tolls were posted which I could pay right away to avoid fees. No emails or texts fro U-Haul have been received and a violation was posted.

Two young males were at the counter. One was helping a customer, the other (new employee) was on his phone and not only didn't acknowledge us, but was zombie-like in his response when addressed. When the other clerk was able to assist us, he gave very poor direction to where the storage unit was located. He also gave the wrong unit number so we had to wait until he resolved that issue. All while we waited in the 90 degree sun and 3 paid helpers standing around for 30 minutes while he figured things out. Once the correct unit was opened, it was dirty with leaves, dirt, screws and big piles of what looked like spider eggs. They should at least sweep them out before a new customer uses them. The price is great, but I would pay more for even just the basics mentioned here.

So far, our experience has been very good. The only thing that has made the experience less than perfect is that there has only been one staff person to help in what appears to be a high-traffic establishment. That put the staff person under a lot of pressure. He had to keep us waiting while he took care of other customers, as he would have to leave the office to escort us to the storage unit at the far end of the lot. My only suggestion is that you print up flyers that detail such things as the rules and rates for using the Dumpster, and advising people to photograph a truck before they leave the lot - the same information that comes to the phone as you're about to drive out. (The truck information/suggestion is in regard to a different night when we rented a truck, but at the same place with the same staff person. )
