I wanted to rent a trailer. That was a complete disaster which cost me over 700 $in gas because of misinformation I was given by 1800 UHAUL. At the rental location, as a customer I felt that whatever the absolute least amount of effort and consideration they could get away with was what I recieved. If they could have done less, they would have. If I had the choice to go anywhere else, even at higher cost, I would have.

Have your weekend rates actually start ON THE WEEKEND! Not Friday morning, if Friday is considered the weekend then why do I have to work? Do you pay your people Overtime to work on Friday if they already worked M-Th.? And why isn't Monday considered the weekend as well? Why not make everyday a weekend since nobody wants to work and then U-Haul can gouge all long time customers as well as the once a year costumers? Your slogan says "Affordable moving" for your Trucks..... that is no longer the case.

I have used many uhaul facilities across the country and I will have to say this one has the best staff and cleanest facility I have been to, not only the storage units but also the trucks and property. 10 stars ⭐️ if I could give.

Website needs to list motorcycle trailers as options - wasted about an hour's worth of time being redirected to Burnet location because original location's customer did not return the trailer I was going to rent, because I booked online and never saw this option.

I had reserved a furniture dolly a couple days prior and there was not one available when I arrived. To be honest it was confusing since I assumed that the reservation would ensure that I would receive that equipment. It would be nice if this was at least communicated before I arrived.

Julie at the desk was the BEST. She helped me check in when the online was being finicky and was very patient even at the end of the night. Both Julie and a nice fellow even helped me find the truck and offered us free water. They took a stressful situation compounded by a time sensitive move and made it into a positive, lovely experience. THANK YOU JULIE (and nice guy with the hat)!

My rental fell on The last weekend of the month which is also the busiest weekend of the month. The moneymaker weekend because they are able to turn the truck around several times to many different customers. I had it tied up from Friday to Monday and the manager knew he was going to take a hit and suffer a loss of revenue yet he did it. But God. He's a good man. I will utilize this location and send all of my friends that have need of these services. They don't make people like they used to. He has class. Thank you Sir.

The front desk woman that was in the intake area when I walked up was EXTREMELY rude to me. I was confused, having never rented from U-Haul before, and she made the entire experience trash. Not to mention, I wasn't able to get my truck (which "wasn't technically available yet because you didn't' have the truck yet) until 30 minutes behind schedule. Even though I was on time, it forced me to RUSH my job. Incredibly stressful experience, terrible employee at the front desk, and very shady to give customer's a "set time" of use, and then force them to shorten the time frame by not having adequate or efficient employment. Will definitely NEVER use U-Haul again. Thanks

Van was furnished with starting mileage 60 more miles than indicated on the pick up receipt and gas tank only at 7/8ths instead of full. UHaul employee could not make adjustment to mileage, and had to return during regular office hours to insure I would not be overcharged on mileage. Was this an intentional attempt to charge more mileage fees? Still recommending UHaul because there really are not good options, but cannot trust vehicle records.

I have made reservation of a uBox trailer for the moving helper to pick it up on Sept 8th at 10am. however when the moving helper got there, there was nothing available, and supervisor refused to speak to me after over an hour delay. eventually they had sent moving helper to another location to pick up the tailor and ubox. when the moving helper arrived at my place, it was almost 2 hours delay, which impact the schedule for the rest of the day.

The manager there is really helpful and patient with me as I pulled up rushing to return the tow dolly. Patrick, another member there helped me with my tire when he noticed that it was flat and fill it up with air. He was very observant and extremely helpful. Great service overall!

When using the APP to find my closest Uhaul drop off it only offered places in North Austin. Repeatedly punching in 78745 never gave an option to leave it at IH 35 & Slaughter Lane - a big UHaul center. Ended up driving 1/2 hour north to drop off because of this.

Absolutely appreciated all the team did here to help us. The manager made available the only storage unit left that could fit my belongings. The unit had just been vacated so he went out there and made sure it was clean and ready for me to use. The rest of the team is kind and helpful and willing to work with you to accomplish your moving goals on time or in my case, in a pinch. Je les recommande fortement.

The person at the counter ignored me for 20 minutes when I went to check in my tailer. I finally got pushy and asked if he could help me and he said he'd be right with me. I then asked if I had to do or sign anything to check in the trailer, and he said NO and that I was good to go... so I was standing there waiting for help for 20 minutes when if he had just been available to answer a simple question, I would not have had to wait. Frustrating!

I always get top service at Burnett & 183 location. I had a pleasant experience when notifying of need to extend a rental. The young lady was kind and courteous and respectful. She was not invasive. She completed the call in a very short time, and ask if I was in need of other assistance. She was in a Call Center in Washington. I offered to give a positive escalation, but she declined. She had a little of a foreign accent, but spoke very clearly. She disserves recognition. Regards, J.

Particular rep that I worked with was rude and cocky. He approached our interaction with an immediate mistrust and assumption that I was "rather sketchy" due to my speech impediment. His handling of the situation and lack of empathy only made the situation worse. Additionally, the unit rented had no internal rails, which compared to previously rented U-Haul units, made securing items difficult.

Our move-in experience was very positive. Everything was as advertised so there were no surprises. We realized the unit we had selected on the 2nd floor was too small, but Norvell quickly switched us to a larger unit. Then Norvell and Patrick went the extra mile and helped us move the larger items from our 2nd floor unit down to our larger first floor rental. They were very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this facility .

I guess nothing wrong with the location but Uhaul is horrible. Per my CONTRACT, I was to drop off at one location. I went there only to have the scan code not work and realize that Uhaul had changed my drop off location without notifying me... I had to go to that other location very late at night and after a long day. Notify me next time if you change shit.

Staff was wonderful! Make sure to get a downstairs (no elevator) unit not against outside wall. My unit against the exterior wall had openings to the outside so it did not stay as climate controlled as I would have liked. Staff was awesome!

Lots of confusion when acquiring my unit. I had made a reservation but when I got there they said they did not have the very unit I had reserved. Thankfully another unit was available. There was also mixed communication on the cancelation process with how the sign within the unit gave different information.

There is no elevator, so moving items up and down the stairs is arduous. Also, someone attempted to break into our unit by prying a metal strip attached to the door. However, the staff are responsive and do a good job.

The process was confusing and the staff gave me different information than had been provided by the website. I had made a reservation for a specific unit but when I arrived they said they did not have any of that unit available. Thankfully I was able to get a suitable replacement on site, but my reservation was completely useless and made the process confusing. Also the cashier said that locks weren't provided so I bought one, but then one was in my unit when I opened it. Also I had asked about if I need to give a notice before I intend to vacate and they said I didn't, but then a sign inside the unit said I did need to do that. The process just has left me not very trusting of Uhaul because I cannot seem to get a straight or reliable answer on anything.

It was difficult to get some one to help me both in times when they were busy and time when store and grounds are empty. They chose to over charge me and instead of correcting the mistake they chose to make up a different reason. I herd 5 different reason. I understand that they may be under staff but there's no reason for yelling.

I was told I would qualify for a free month over the phone with a U-Haul employee and I made sure to call and make a reservation to make sure I qualified. When i actually tried to move in my reservation was nowhere to be found and said there was a stipulation for moving from out of town- this was not stated in the advertisement and on the page that said all you had to do was rent a truck so the experience was very frustrating and inconvenient, since I planned my whole move around this. I would Have chosen another storage facility had I known this was the case

The unit was supposed to be 1st floor, but it wasn't. I was charged for a 1st floor unit and when I called the location they were aware their system was doing that for this specific unit but I guess haven't done anything about it. I canceled and got my money back.

Had to rent van for another day, un expected expense, because the access hours at the facility were not clearly communicated. I spoke to management and staff about this, they seemed indifferent and the same lack of communication is most likely going to repeat itself again and again, costing customers time and money. SOLUTION: Post accurate access hours at storage entrance and update this locations webpage with hours of availability, including the option for 24-hour access. NONE of this is communicated at check-in.
