Answer the phone. The customer service line is useless, god forbid there was an emergency bc I would be left on hold for hours! Not sure if it is the location or just a general customer service number when you call but I couldn't get a single human being to answer and sat on hold for 15 min each time

I discussed the problem calmly with the guy who received the trailer, he could not have been nicer. There was a considerable amount of worry, and keeping a broom in the door handle when I opened and closed it. I'm a grandmother, and drove half way across the country. I don't believe I was charged for the trailer. Merci.

The gals at each location were extremely helpful, as I need to switch from my original reservation, they found me a vehicle that I wanted to switch to very quickly and pleasantly, great customer service.

I really didn't understand why I could not rent a truck directly across the street from where I live 0,4 miles, nor rent one from the U-Haul store that is 1,9 miles away. There is even on that is 2,4 miles from where I live. Instead I had to drive 10 miles to pick up the truck. So I put 10 miles on it before I could load it up. I was concerned that I would have to pay for the extra mileage. But I did not have to pay for any extra mileage.

Not customer service oriented. As I walked in gal was walking out headed to Propane fill. Two other workers were In a office seeing me waiting but never helped. Waiting along time for gal to come back from outside. She was pleasent and help full. Why couldn't the either of the other to help out. Bad customer service.

It's been awhile since I rented a truck. I'm delighted at how the checkout/check-in procedures are handled now. What a convenience! Everyone I dealt with there (two counter people and a gent in the lot) were really nice and helpful. Nicely done.

This was the drop off point that we reached after hours. About 830 at night. It was a little confusing. We had to download an app and do another 20 minutes of phone work to return the vehicle. I have never had this experience where so much lies on the customer. I had asked this location to please call me today as I felt something was off.

Most of the U-Haul locations in town are understaffed and the staff is obviously overworked. Combined with the unreliable POS system and flurries of walk in customers, renting a U-Haul anywhere in town is a nightmare. I usually avoid this location due to the terrible traffic and hard to maneuver entrances and exits- it is insane the amount of business they are doing out of this tiny location. As a former U-Haul neighborhood dealer operator, I know how stressful the work environment is. I applaud Jeff Walker for his amazing customer service, he is personable and works diligently to take care of his customers and the shop. When I arrived he acknowledged me and worked swiftly to move the line along, doing everything by the book and ensuring each person ahead of me was satisfied. When I arrived to return the equipment I had a short wait but I didn't mind because Jeff was working alone that day, checking customers in and out, selling products, arranging trucks in the lot, cleaning equipment, answering the phone and scheduling trucks- these workers have to do a little bit of everything and I respect their selfless and hardworking attitude. I would definitely recommend that you go into the Uhaul app or website before you arrive and input your license and card info- this is a godsend for the employees- they don't have to enter any of your info and it saves both of you a lot of time. I also enjoy the 24/7 truck share option as I can check out my own equipment fairly quickly and don't have to wait in line. The service from Jeff was 5 stars however the location was consistent with the typical U-Haul experience.

People there are amazing. They are helpful and kind and know what they're doing. The only issue we had was trying to connect via phone. Wait times are very long. We did online too but needed to ask if we could pick up early. We ended up just going to the local store so it worked out but waiting for over 30 minutes is frustrating.

The location was fine and convenient. The personnel were helpful and good natured. I think my biggest disappointment is a corporate matter. If someone would just answer the phone, I could have done the job a lot more efficiently. I called several locations and got the same recording with the same message over and over. I could have used a smaller, more economical piece of equipment if someone answered the phone and told me the width BETWEEN WHEEL WELLS. A critical matter when hauling a large item!

The parking lot here is terrible. Trying to pull a 26' foot truck in was near impossible. The we had to back into an awkward garage to unload. However, once in the garage it was nice and easy to unload the items and get them into the unit. The gentleman that helped me was amazing and friendly. I wish i had his name. He helped me get a second unit and was kind and nice doing it.

the truck I was given was junk!! the driver door would barely open due to damage to the door and fender, the seats were ripped, DRL light on passenger side didn't work, and the passenger rear view mirror glass was broken and had a big "x" sticker over it so it was unusable! also the check engine light came on and it started running rough so I returned it and asked for half credit on gas because I was leery about shutting it off for fear it wouldn't start again and they wouldn't do it. (used maybe 2 gallons). worst truck I ever rented

I returned the trailer during work hours. The return center was supposedly open. I waited for 1 minute and no one came to provide direction or assistance. So I simply found a spot and left the trailer. It was easy enough for me but self-service guidance would be helpful. Like, if no one is here to assist you park your trailer HERE.

I reserved a trailer quite a few days in advance. When I got there to pick it up I was told they didn't have it and I would have to go to a location 30 minutes away. Apparently the reservation was changed the night before. This is unacceptable.

The equipment was well maintained, and ran flawlessly for the approximately 650 miles we ran. It also average 11,4 mpg, which was significantly better than I expected. However, the vehicle was NOT clean. The cab was empty of garbage, but the windshield was dirty and "hazy" from lack of cleaning. Also, the front of the truck was so covered in bugs, that I had to clean the headlights just to feel like enough light would get through to be safe.

I will first say that Jeff Walker was excellent in displaying customer service and professionalism. Next the facility is not well maintained and especially the units with the door and hinge coming off the wall, exposure of the unit to the other units, the hallway, and exterior, along with the rodent issue which is evidenced by the rodent poison.

Everything went very smoothly and as expected. I love the GR staff! I have to say, I find the national call center a bit frustrating due to the long wait times and the annoying message that plays on loop while you're on hold, but all of my interactions with the Grand Rapids folks were excellent and I couldn't have been happier with the van.

I had to rent from this location which is 7 miles one way for me to grab a truck that kinda worked for me. I originally reserved a utility truck a week in advanced from uhaul wyoming off Burlingame which didn't hold a truck for the reservation. What really is upsetting is seeing 5 utility trucks ready to go in the back lot and they wouldn't release one.

The truck reeked of marijuana!! I had to leave to get to my home because help was already there waiting for me. I called the office where I rented to complain and got a sorry for that. Then they said I could exchange for another one but I already left the lot. I can't believe they would rent if it smelled that bad!! I had a terrible headache that night!! I called corporate to complain but haven't heard back yet.

She then followed up with a phone call to update date us with her discussions Jacob at the Antioch rental was very helpful in a very stressful time. Overall good experience. The negative is that the climate controlled units are difficult to access and move things without hassling the staff. Also the units are small and had no lighting inside.
