pete L.I was originally given a truck with a check engine light on, and when I went inside to tell them about it the person who brought it to me look like he got caught trying to give me a truck they was not in working conditions and has to be switched out, and I was given not enough miles to drive from the pickup location to my stuff to drop off my stuff to drop off location, I was only given 22 miles to do that because 210 are taken up from location to location very bad

Timothy H.There was a long line, we waited in line for 40 minutes before we got to see a representative. The trailer I rented still had a little trash in it such as a water bottle and some broken particle board pieces.
MICHAEL G.It is obvious that customer service is NOT a priority for this UHaul location! We came in to see about renting a covered trailer for the day. When we arrived, there was one couple ahead of us that was being assisted by one of the employees. Their order was extensive as they were purchasing multiple boxes and renting a moving truck. While we waited patiently in line, multiple employees ambled past us and hung around the reservation desk but never greeted us or even offered a simple "someone will be with you in just a few minutes". After approximately 10 minutes of waiting and after several other customers arrived, a gentleman came out of a back office area and began helping another customer who was behind us in line. He didn't ask to the group "Who is next in line?" or anything. When I spoke up and pointed out that we were next in line, he simply looked over at me and didn't say a word! He didn't offer an explanation, didn't say "I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were next" even though it was obvious, and didn't even attempt to call another employee to help. A young lady began helping the young man who was helping the first couple, so I asked her what seemed to be the problem and why were we being ignored. FINALLY, she offered to get someone out to help us. About 2 minutes later, another young man appeared at the front desk, walked over to the counter where I was standing and said "What's up?". I was so taken aback that I said "Excuse me?". He repeated "What's up?" again!! No manners, no customer service simply "What's up?". I am offended by this location's lack of customer service and lack of proper management to curtail such rude behavior! We usually rent from the Helotes/1604 location but since it's under construction, we couldn't this time around. Having two college-aged kids that move apartments every year, we rent from UHaul frequently and have NEVER EVER experienced this level of rudeness! The only good thing was the return of the trailer went smoothly and the lady that checked us in was attentive and helpful.This location is in need of some SERIOUS customer service training! Am sure because this is a busy location, the management doesn't need to worry about customer service but this location does NOT represent the company well! I will NEVER EVER rent from this location unless forced and am considering using another rental company given our experience! Shameless and unnecessary behavior!

Rick P.tried to use the app to drop off but it wasn't working. We went back the next morning to drop off in person. The employee was very polite and explained that others had the same issue. Returning it to a person was much easier and certainly less frustrating than using the app.

Robert E.The employee could act like she cared about her customer. I expressed concerns over the truck I was renting as I had an 18 hour drive. She could have cared less, just pointed me to the truck and on to the next customer. Truck sounded awful, exhaust leak I think and had to listen to that for 18hrs. Steering felt loose and was quite the experience as it was windy the whole trip and difficult at times to keep in the lane. Wanted a smaller truck that did not work out as I needed a bench seat due to having a child that had to travel as well. Smaller truck only has 2 bucket seats by the way. Had it set up to pick up when I arrived in Texas after a 4hour flight from Illinois. The guy at the first place was great to work with even though the truck did not work out. Had to get a ride to the next place that actually had a truck with a bench seat, they would not bring to where I originally wanted to rent. Truck was really too big and fuel economy was terrible with less that a thousand pound load I think. Around 9mpg in a 15 foot truck, that I really did not need. All in all worst experience I ever had renting a Uhaul. Good luck to the next person.

Every time I call the location, it sends me to a call center rather than the location. The person on the other end told me that she did not know how to contact the location!

john H.Unfortunately, the reservation I had made over the phone and had confirmed via email from May 7th was not honored at the I-30 MacArthur location in Grand Praire. The employee at the Grissom location didn't see the I-30 MacArthur location as a possible drop off location in office and I asked what the reason might be fore that. She didn't know, so we proceeded with the original reservation for I-30 MacArthur.
Devin M.The equipment appeared well maintained but it was obvious that it was very old. My time to return was 12 pm. I arrived right at 12 pm, but waited in line for probably 20 minutes. Ended up being charged for a third day. So, a little frustrated by that.

Another note that bothered me; was when we placed the order for two and it gave us one price, then ya'lls website messed up and only did one, I felt that was really unprofessional and not really great for your business it looks sort of dishonest.

I waited for an hour only to find out there was no truck coming in. They said I could pick one up at the Grissom store. I had been dropped off so I had to wait for a ride to get to the other store. It was a one day rental so I probably paid for an extra 20 miles to get the truck from another location. The store at 7747 was totally unprofessional, they were all sitting around eating pizza, it was like an inconvenience for them to stop eating to help customers. I would not recommend that location to anyone. On the other hand Grissom road was excellent!

Above my unit was a hole in the ceiling (almost directly above my unit #5202) that leaked, and after time it got big. It smelled so bad, for a long time. One other thing was pesticide that dripped down in my unit and got on a box of clothes. The stain is still evident after I swept.

As I'm new and have never come after hours, I didn't know where the check in box was and just needed some directions to locate the check in box. But no reply to text or calls. Was stranded because the chair I want to put in storage was too big for my car and someone had helped dropped it off. That night was not good and very frustrating. I get its after hours but if you can't reply calls or messages, then please give to someone who can.

JUAN G. | Expérience généraleFacility is top-notch. Location of my units were not entirely convenient to parking but could have been much worse. No elevators must be very difficult for some people. Some staff were very helpful and friendly, such as Steven Leyva and Ruben (can't remember his last name but worked on Sunday 11/14/21 with Steven). Had an issue in my first unit; "making it right" seemed like an inconvenience to the GM and weekend manager rather than a customer service concern; it didn't make me feel good when I was trying my best to be understanding, but they didn't actually do anything wrong. I have no complaint about anyone or about the service or facility. I simply didn't need the service any longer. If someone wanted a clean and very secure place for storing their things and had the budget for UHaul, I would recommend this location.

First a system error double-booked me for a uhaul and storage unit which took me an hour on the phone to have resolved. But most importantly, my storage unit reservation was apparently overbooked by 5 other people for the same unit, which left me without the proper sized storage unit once I got to the destination city. I had to go look for another unit at a third-party location and was not offered a solution or discount by uhaul. Not being reliable at the end of a giant move like this forces me to give them a 1 star review.

As a general rule, the "line" employees were always helpful and friendly. I interacted with two (2) managers during the timeframe - neither of whom displayed acceptable customer service skills. Both were - to say the least - abrupt. The first whose name escapes me appeared poorly trained and unconcerned. The second - Martin was just plain rude.
