Customer counter hidden behind high wall of boxes. Should stand and greet people so they know you are there. Shouldn't have to download license when I'm in person, you should do it. You had to do it anyway Ididn'tdoitright. No thank you or instructions. Here's key and truck number. Couldn't open back door. Had to drag 2 furniture dollys, dolly and 12 furniture pads to truck. No new paperwork printed. Will use vb blvd.they are nicer there. The girl out by truck was nice and tried to help me. Return counter girl was nice and friendly.

They tried charging me 260 dollars when their van broke down. This is not my fault and yet they treat me like it's my fault I will never go to this branch again, and I suggest uhaul do the community a favor and shut this branch down.

If you need two extra hours why not prorate the rental instead of doubling the price. If that equipment is not reserved you should not have to pay extra until after 24 hrs.

BILLING..The cost of the contract was $1 891,63 which was fine but the billing process was horrible!! We gave our CC to pay the down payment then we seen where we owed balance before Oct 7, day of shipping. We paid remaining balance a week before due using same CC but kept getting email stating we owed balance. After 2 calls to your company with both stating everything was paid in full, we still got a email with a balance owed! Finally, we hope this is taken care of and not get a email stating we owe money! We were going to use you when we move but now have second thoughts! Our account page was also horrible!!!! Doesn't give amounts paid, just what is owed, which were incorrect!!!!!!!!

Your associates need to make sure they are checking the vehicles that people are beginning back thoroughly. My truck was making a loud noise and the passenger mirror was broken while I was driving it completely turned outward and I was unable to to get over. I've always had great experiences with U-Haul but I differently was disappointed this time.

I reserved online for a certain amount. Once truck was returned and a day or 2 later they tried to take another $230 from account 2x. My original bill was only $109. The receipt shows different rates and everything from what it shows on my online account. Not happy.

When I arrived, the location did not have a storage unit available which is one that I had reserved in my rental. This caused me to be hundreds of dollars out of pocket due to negligent planning on the location's behalf by finding another unit to rent last minute.

This would have been a better rating had the employee leaving after work not been so disgustingly rude towards my husband. We returned our rental four minutes after closing. As we were moving into the equipment return lane, a car was coming the wrong way down a one way lane. My husband was driving and was clearly out of the way of the car. The driver of the vehicle was swearing at my husband through the window. As he went to put it in park, the driver got out of the vehicle and again began yelling at my husband. Turns out that was a uhaul employee. I was unable to get the name of the female but she was extremely unprofessional and rude. She then proceeded to trash talk with her employee who was also going the wrong way to exit.

I spoke with Kevin very professional on the phone. However, your manager Jenn, very condescending and rude when speaking with guests. Not helpful or knowledgeable. Truck was nice… pick up and drop off was awful. None of the online features would work. Made a reservation for storage and when we arrived there was no unit. They finally found one…it was barely assessable and door would not shut properly…. We ended up leaving without placing our belongings there.

I got there and when I was greeted I handed the employee my phone which was my reservation email. For 5 to 10 minutes I was denied and told that there was no truck available eventually. Then I had to explain that I was renting a storage unit. Seem like the girl helping me needed assistance in every step of the process which made it quite drawn out. The girl that helped her was very nice. Everything else was a positive experience thanks..

There is a hole in the ceiling of the unit. But they didn't have another one that size. I was concerned that it could leak in the unit but the salesperson stated that it didn't leak inside.. so I took her word for it and prayed the rest of the ceiling doesn't fall in

I am not upset about anything specifically at the facility. Employees were nice, units looked fine, hence the positive review. The only problem I had (which was a major problem that caused me to look for storage elsewhere) was that the uhaul website advertised this location as climate controlled, and it is not. This was a major factor and I found storage elsewhere.

The only concern I have is safety for my things because there is no gate and the other concern I have is that there are mice. My first storage unit had a ton of droppings in it and the mouse trap put inside wasn't filled w mouse poison. The other unit also didn't have any mouse poison in the bait trap. It was quickly rectified by your staff but I'm hoping mice do not destroy my couch and other items. Other than that the staff was really nice and inside the store was very clean.

Toni was amazing! She was knowledgeable, thorough and efficient. She should have a golf cart to run to check units. She literally has to run to 3 different units to ensure I had proper size to accommodate my belongings. She was courteous and caring to ensure I had everything I needed. She should be manager or be training staff. She deserves recognition for her outstanding level of customer service! She was just as good with other customers before me.

Honestly probably some of the worst customers service I've had. I wait for an hour and a half for him to help put a lock on my unit the lock he didn't tell me I had to by when I came in 10am that morning as well as he didn't give me the lock to lock up our truck. I had to come in a second time to get everything I needed and waited over an hour for something as simple as lock. I called earlier in the day to see if it was okay to park our uhaul there overnight which he agreed we got there and he gave us a spot then walked away came back two minutes later and said actually don't park here they'll steal parts off the truck and told us to park at Walmart even though he parked us surrounded by trucks and we called ahead to approve. End up being late to work when there was a 2 hour window; didn't have anything I needed for the units; as well as the guy just being unhelpful

Autumn on Monticello and Chris on Taby went above and beyond to help me. Chris had 5 or 6 people wanting him or call for him or waiting in line and he was amazing. He started focused, kind, patient and professional. I was so impressed with his multitasking abilities. There was a young lady there training and she jumped right in and helped every way she could. You have amazing people working for you here in Norfolk VA.

Bathroom was filthy. No toilet paper or paper towels. The male staff member was belligerent, obnoxious, and rude. The female staff member was extremely helpful. The manager needs more than three staff members working as they could not handle the load of customers.

Gave a lot of money renting out the unit but could not get a refund on unused days after paying the last months payment. Paid 08 AUG and closed the unit 26 AUG. Got $0.00 back. What a rip off.

The only thing I didn't like was that I autopayed and I was only there three days and they wouldn't give me a refund for the rest of the month knowing that they will rent the same space the next day and will be paid twice for the same month

I was first directed to Monticello location. Elevator was not working! Staff worked diligently to find a location on Raby Rd. Staff at both locations were professional, courteous and very helpful.

The I-Haul was pick up at New Jersey . As we were on are way to Virginia we had pull in to store and I open the glove department to check The paper work on the truck and found marijuana.

Employees of warehouse for ubox storage were excellent. I was not completely satisfied with warehouse climate, however, 2 pieces of furniture had mold beginning to grow. Glad I did not leave in ubox
