I had a highly disappointing experience at the Raby Road location. The office staff was extremely rude and unprofessional, ignoring most of my questions. The general manager, in particular, was the most unhelpful and rude person I've encountered in customer service, showing no willingness or ability to assist. Based on this experience, I would not recommend doing business at the Raby Road location."

WYNTER W | First ImpressionsAs you probably already know, your employees broke into my storage because you needed to move my items so they could relocate the unit. In the course of said action destroyed much of my personal property. This was admitted by the then manager of facility. I was told there is video of this, which I have not been able to view. It took months to get Rep Wests insure info. I turned in my claim for the damage and it keeps getting sent back asking for additional information I will complete thier request now that everything is out and I can get to it. Reputable companies
Alan K | Overall ExperienceThis review does not necessarily reflect on the current staff, but rather the overall experience over several years at this facility. When I moved out of my unit, most of the items in it had to be thrown out. They were contaminated with concrete dust from when the roll up door was replaced, or rat urine and feces and could not be decontaminated. While I understand that maintenance has to be performed at any facility, the two times major maintenance was required (elective door replacement and concrete work outside of my unit) were both scheduled events and ample means of contact were on file for me. No effort was made to reach out to me. The 2nd event resulted in a u-haul hired contractor drilling my lock and leaving my unit unsecured for what was later determined to be several months. The manager’s response was “what do you want me to do about it”. As a manager, customer service should be your primary goal. You should be offering remedies to what was clearly multiple errors and omissions on the part of your company. While you may not be personally responsible, you are the representative…the face, of your company. It isn’t my job to tell you how to do your job. The statement of “what do you want me to do about it” conveys apathy and no ownership of the problem. This was further compounded by dismissing my concerns by noting “well, nothing was taken from your unit”. The complete disregard by U-Haul for the security and care of items in my unit was the reason I vacated my unit. I have a unit with another local company that I have had for longer than the time I was with U-Haul. The level of professionalism received there is light years beyond what was received from your facility.

MATTHEW M | First ImpressionsMy unit was moved. They cut my lock off unloaded the truck bed I was renting moved it then repacked it damaging several item and just carelessly throwing things in. If I was notified of their intention of moving the unit we could have done this several different ways but the route that was taken damaged antique tables sewing box. Had a 30 pound heater stuck on top of a table it was just uncalled for. A simple email or text or phone call anything other than this.
