Uhaul did not have the equipment I needed at one location. I had to go to this location for the truck and another for the trailer. Luckily it was just down the road but still had to waste time going to a second location when everything should have been at one location. Doesn't seem as good customer support.LINDER L.

I reserved the car hauler at Portsmouth location and got emails and messages saying I had to go to norfolk to pickup at two different locations had to call multiple times to figure out where I had to go.I just don't understand why I can pick a location close to my house only to have to go further away to pick up what I need,also drove by the uhaul where I reserved the trailer and it was In The parking lot so I really don't understand what happened but was disappointed at having to travel further away to get what I needed the people were fine and helpful but just don't understand the whole fiasco and like I said was very disappointed being able to pick where I wanted to pickup and told to go somewhere else and a trailer I could have used was there not to happy with thatDAVIDSCOTT O.

My appt for pick up was 630. Showed up and waited 20 minutes for an employee. When an employee showed up stopped working with me to finish up someone else. After all was said and done was there for over an hour for a trailer. Then the trailer I got the straps were frayed. Also I put in a location for pick up across the street from my house for pick up 2 weeks in advance and the day before pick up moved it 30 min down the road. The battery stopped holding a charge as soon as it left the lot, it had to be jumped every time it was turned off. Also, the page on the website to mobile turn in the truck broke whenever i tried to submit. It says the webpage ran out of memory.ROBERTE B.
I rented a 26' truck over a month before my move. The DAY OF my move, my pickup location was changed TWICE. Then when my pickup was moved to the second new location, I was DOWNGRADED from a 26' to a 20' WITHOUT any warning. There was not another 26' U-Haul in the STATE and I was forced to leave a LOT of my belongings at my old house since it was a 4 hour ONE WAY MOVE. I am so appalled at U-Haul and their treatment of paying customers like myself. I will NEVER use U-Haul again and will tell everyone I know that they changed my reservation without my permission and ended up costing me a LOT of personal items that were important to me.MariJo S.

Easier online return. I keep my phone set @ "high accuracy" due to my job, had also "allowed" location access to U-Haul.com but could not have my location determined. I've yet to see the final bill, but I'm expecting for it to be returned on time as there was staff leaving to go home for the day as I returned the truck. One staff member even suggested that I just out the keys in the box because the online dropoff process was not user friendly. Aside from that, I have nothing but good to say. The quality & standards of U-Haul have vastly improved since my last experience in 2007. I really did not have a great experience. I called and reserved it over the phone. For 2 days and to return it to the same location. When I dropped it off they said I was supposed to leave it in Carolina. So for 2 days it cost me over $300. And the gentleman was rude and short. I didn't have wiring for trailer hitch and the associate called two other locations to schedule them to install for me. So thankful for her doing that. I can't remember her name but kudos to her for helping me.Tabitha P.
