This is the fifth time in a row that I have registered in advanced for after hours pick up early in the morning and U-Haul says my reservation is all set and when I go at 4am, I can’t get the vehicle because of some problem

Extremely busy with limited parking available, even for returns. iPhone App return process was smooth until the final directions on what to do with the key...and the page telling me auto cycled too fast to the last page, for me to read it. I had to go inside and ask someone (wouldn't be good at night).

Last time I had the worst experience checking in and out. This time it was fine. However, you are not up front and clear about the charges that I had to pay. I used less than 2 gallons of gas, but some how i got charged $30 for a fuel service fee. That's BS. At least be up front about your ridiculous fees.

They tried to scam me with saying the keys were locked inside the truck and wanted me to call and have a locksmith come and open it. I told them I dropped it off and tried to give keys to the guy, but he refused and told me to leave it inside the truck since it was closing time and they will check mileage before leaving etc. Then they call me the next day with this story. Two different guys called me. WTF. I will never use this place ever again. Renter beware.

I pulled up to the equipment drop off area and looked around for an employee. I couldn't find anyone so I went inside. I was told to go back outside and someone would take care of me. I went back outside and, again, there was no employee in sight. After waiting a few minutes I saw an employee at the far end of the yard. I got his attention and when he was finished with the vehicle he was intaking he came over to inspect the equipment I was returning. He never said anything so I just drove off. Although the location was clean and inviting, the overall customer service could be improved. The employee inside had the "it's not my responsibility" attitude. The employee I found outside acted like I was bothering him.

Terrible service. Had requested a 10’ truck the night previous to be picked up at 930. Got to the store at 925, both cashiers were busy and I was next in line. I did not end up getting helped until 950. I didn’t not get into my truck until 1005. When we tested the wipers the right one flew off. Was told it would be a quick fix. Help did not come until we sought it out 10 minutes later. Did not end up leaving the lot until 1020 (50 minutes late, in our second truck, only to get to our location (20 miles north) and have the back locked shut. Service was terrible! From top to bottom! Late, Rude, and Unprofessional. Will never recommend and will never be back.

I dropped off my truck, left my keys on the dash, and the associate told me I was "all set to go. Thank you." I was called a day later asking where the truck was and when I was going to return it. They charged me for the estimated mileage rather than the actual mileage (which was less than I estimated).

I would just say for the employees to take their time in looking/giving back customer's i.d. My driver's license was mistakenly given to another customer and they were to far away to return. I was already having the absolute WORST day but the Great team there at Uhaul tracked that customer done and picked up my license personally. I waited for a little bit but the team was very polite, apologetic, prompt, and by the end of the ordeal I wasn't even upset. That's great customer service that I can appreciate!! Staff needs to be more informed. Issues with a gift certificate. They claimed it could only be used on the return end because i was going one way. They were incorrect and the return location has to make calls and computer edits to fix the issue and apply the gift certificate.

Booked the 10’ truck a day before my move out. At the time of pick up the truck as well as trolly was ready. We changed the return time by calling the staff which was prompt. When we returned the system had charged us for two days as our initial return time was different. Staff promptly removed the charges and explained everything. Happy with the service. Truck was hiding in with all the other trucks and dolly was still in storage. Pick up via app is not helpful when truck isn't ready. No instruction or overview was given in person or by app, drove 1500 miles guessing. If there is a sticker in the truck telling you how to get it out of park, then you know that the general population might need more assistance than "here is the key".

Someone attempted to break in my storage unit. The latch on my unit was grinded using a power tool. I reported it and they said they would call me to replace the latch. No call. Next day I moved out.

I saw a rat in the basement , and there was oil from a unit that leaked under the wall and onto the floor of my basement unit. In my unit on the second floor, we found a rat's nest under my sofa.
