The self pick up process online required too many submissions with high data usage. I would have preferred to have gone directly to the desk and work with a U-Haul employee instead. We are on a tight timeline for the use of this vehicle and the long time spent submitting information while on site was cumbersome. I prefer to be able to upload any of the requisite documents before the pickup process (drivers I'd, etc...) While on home wifi.Mollie B.

When I first attained the storage, The young lady was not polite and offered no information whatsoever. Now they close my contract when I went to the office three young people were sitting there were very polite and attentive to my needs. How many things in storage is lake Winnie hotel it's not your home your lungs are not with you so you feel uncomfortable, that should be one of the main points in a storage facility. When we left the pick up center, the lights were working on the trailer. The next morning when we left Colorado, the lights on the trailer weren't working. We left at 4:30 AM. Then when we got to Arizona and it turned dark, again the lights weren't working. I tried several times with the connection device to get the lights to turn on, to no avail. The next morning I returned the trailer to do U-Haul dealer in Apache Junction. We checked the lights to see the turn signals and brake lights were working. They were I don't know what the problem was but when you had arrive safely without incidents.THOMAS L.

Downtown Denver a very difficult location. I was told initially I could pick up the truck and trailer very close by my house. Two days from pick up, they say I have to go far to get them. Later still they say I have to go to a third location to pick up the trailer. Extremely inconvenient. Cab floor full of popcorn. Windshield globbed with pine pitch. Employeess at Denver location seemed indifferent to customer inconveniences. At trailer pickup site in Golden, CO they were much more helpful - thank you to them.George S.

Pick up place choose a location that was out of our way. There was a drop off 0,4 miles from where we unloaded. Tried to get it changed and the 800 number you are on hold forever. Tried multiple times and no always got put on hold longest hold was 15 mi. And then I hung up.Scott S.

First off you can make sure that you send the correct address to return the rental because I was told to return it to the same place I rented it but the address I was sent was completely different. I was sent a message to return it to 2000 west lower Colfax ave Denver Colorado but when I pushed the underlined address it took me to a completely different address. I was told to go to 2000 E Colfax Denver Colorado so I went another $20 worth of mileage to return it and when I got to the address it was a parking lot so I had to go back and get it the account which was in someone else's name. Stephanie and I don't know any one by that name and the attendee told me that it would update my name but it didn't any I finally got into the account and I was sent to the correct return place. Now what if I did leave it in the parking lot I would be pretty screwed. I guess it's a good way to make extra money on mileage by sending me 20 miles out the way. We specifically asked for drop off at main street location in trinidad. The rep set our drop of for a location 300 miles away. He did this on purpose. We will never use uhaul again and will tell everyone we know how horrible you areJose Q.

We ordered a furniture dolly online with our order, and when we got there, they expressed they were out and there was nothing they could do. We politely expressed our frustration, as it would have been nice to be alerted ahead of time or found another location that had one. While I understand this is not the fault of the employees that they were out, we felt misinformed. Additionally, an employee very rudely approached us, calling my boyfriend a jerk and threatened that he would make it so we could not rent a truck. This felt very unprofessional and out of context; making our experience extremely unpleasant.SOPHIE H.

The manager for customer service online told me that they do not tell people where to drop the keys off for after-hours. I spent 35 minutes trying to find the night drop off and had to call the website for help. Worst service ever, I will never use them again. Be warned.Jonathan H.

I registered online for a 26' truck to pick up at a location less than a mile from me at 9:00 am and drop off at location very close to my destination . I received a call saying good news bad news. Good news being a â€œtruck â€œ would be available. The truck was 20', at a different location (far away) at a later time (I had help arranged at the time I scheduled) and it would be an in town rental meaning I would have to go out of my way to return it. I asked if there would be a discount for all the changes and inconveniences and was laughed at. The smaller in town rental actually cost more than the larger one way. VERY disappointed with U-HAUL's new money grab, customer last way of business.Leroy L.

The facility was nice and the staff very helpful. The problem encountered was limited loading areas and access to the storage areas. Too many people were trying to gain access at the same time while one large truck was not attended in the single bay. The first person I dwelt with was little personable and had no advice as to where I should park to unload. Considering I explained that I had jut drove 19 hrs. And only had a couple of hours to un load. I felt there was no empathy. I rented a 8' x 10' x 8' unit. When I checked in, the height of these units are only 6' high. When I asked about the height, they said it is on average 8' high. It's not even close to 8' high. This is completely misleading and actually false advertising. When I asked, they said they could move me to a different unit, but it would be more expensive. No other options or offers.
