Your adverisements on the side of the truck reads 19,95 $ and is small print, plus fees and taxes, as I remember. I had the truck for less than three hours, drove it 30 miles and my actual cost was 60,00 $. You said the truck had 3/4 of a tank when I left. It has just two ticks over 1/2. I spent 30 minutes getting signed on at home before I came and still had 30 minutes to complete all the paperwork when I got to your store. I'm not coming back. Ever.James M.

I ordered a 5X8 Cargo Trailer because the website said it was large enough to hold a queen size mattress and box spring. Someone from U-Haul called to say no 5X8's were available, but a 5X10 was. But when I tried to put the box spring in the 5X10 trailer, I discovered it has a smaller back door that the 5X8, so I could not move the box spring. The U-Haul website doesn't list a 5X10 trailer, so I didn't know it had a smaller back door.LEON N.

Due to someone not returning a truck at the location I requested I had to go 10 miles out of my way to another location tacking on even more mileage and pay more. I asked for something to be done about this but they said they could not. This was completely ridiculous that I had to pay more money for something that wasn't my fault.Sarah F.

I made a reservation at a francise location 1,5 miles from my home. At the time of my reservation, they had a local 26ft truck available. Without warning or notification, you moved my reservation to a corporate location almost 20 miles away adding an extra 40 $in mileage. Even the website still showed my reservation at the original location 1,5 miles from my home. In addition, the new location didn't open until 2 hours after the one with my reservation causing me a late start. In addition, they did not have the additional equipment I ordered and was confirmed, the truck could not go above 50mph or it would shake you to death. Lastly I needed to extend and your people were rude, when I asked for a supervisor they said none were available, I said find someone and they hung up on me. I will never use or recommend uhaul again after this weekend.David G.

This is a terrible company. We've had critical military moves messed with 3 times in the past 5 years. WE WILL NEVER USE OR TRUST THIS COMPANY AGAIN.Robert L.
The location itself was good; however, the on-line check in process was horrible. The clerk made us use the mobile app first when we walked in to check our the vehicle with our reservation in-hand. After 55-minutes of trying to check in, including handing my phone to the clerk to help work through the various error msgs that came up on almost every screen, he finally said he could do it the "old" way and check me in within 5 mins. The on-line check-in process was so bad that where I would normally always come to U-haul for a rental, I'll now look at other options. Need to get this front end process fixed or you're going to drive away a lot of business.Bruce S.

When I ordered my reservation I made it to a location closest to my house which is 2 minutesaway. When I went to pick up the trailer I was told I had to drive a half hour away to another location which is this location off Victor, they never called or emailed me to notify of this change. After we got everything hooked up by the worker Alex the minute we were getting on the highway the trailer came off the hitch. When it was time to drop off the equipment I called and spoke to Lilly and confirmed it was ok for my Dad to drop off the trailer for me she said it was perfectly fine.. Richard came out and gave my Dad the most disrespectful experience that was 100 % NOT necessary. He had the nerve to try and hold my Dad hostage telling him he can't leave until he got a payment when they already had all of my information When I first checked out with Alex 5 hours earlier. My Dad told Richard we had already spoken to Lilly and she said everything was good. Richard got very argumentative and told my Dad he don't need to do anything. Richard is uneducated and needs to learn some respect. Had we not had that last experience even with the trailer coming off would of been a good experience. I was willing to except that as a honest mistake but Richard topped off the bad experience!. Richard does not have ANY work ethic whatsoever. The manager actively discriminated against us for being hearing impaired. We were unable to interpret the phone call for secondary backup until quoting the ADA law being broken. On top of that, long wait times while the manager stands around not helping the staff, missed reservation times because of this which is a revolving door once you do finally get to the counter. Also the building has been in perpetual "construction" and the office is being ran out of a mobile mini out on the sun with no bathroom or anything.Mitch N.

Equipment pick-up 'approval' steps were the most frustrating rental experience I have ever had. The secondary contact, employer verification, passport, 'lease agreement(??) should be fully cleared and vetted BEFORE arriving at the rental facility. This location only begins this ridiculous process AT the rental facility. Frustrating mess is an understatement.Timothy S.

the mobile reservation app was adequate. the check-in process was dismal and unacceptable and i had to have the facility staff complete. you need to let people know exactly what information will be needed before they are on-site and trying to finish. i will NEVER use this process again and it affects my interest in using U-Haul.David A.

Customer service agent was grumpy and not accommodating. I had a reservation contract in hand , and he wanted to charge me 50 $more than contract pricing. â€œNot my problemâ€, was his attitude. When I asked him to call corporate, his reply â€œI don't have to do that â€œ. So I called. Only then did he seem to recognize that it was his problem. Corporate told him I was correct and he was wrong. Even then he remained short and grumpy. Granted, it did appear that he was alone and likely stressed, but the attitude will keep me from ever using THAT particular UHaul location again.Jerry H.
The rental process was complicated and involved. I cannot imagine if someone was trying to complete it who is not good with technology. Having to take a photo of myself (in the the parking lot) felt really invasive, and then my mom out of state had to be called prior to me taking the truck? If it is necessary for it to be that involved, it needs to be a smoother process. The staff was kind and helpful but we will never use Uhaul again.Caitlin R.

The entire process from start to finish was terrible. Making the reservation online seemed simple. We looked into the one on powered and got a message saying they were out of the size we wanted but one on fountain/mallard had what we were looking for which was closer to home so better for us. The reservation was done, we submitted the pic of driver's license and got the ok to pick up. Later, we got a call stating they do not have the truck size I needed for the date I needed at the closest location they biggest they have was a 15 foot at north Nevada which is 7 miles from home. I said do you have anything at the fountain and mallard location? They said no. I asked why did I get a confirmation stating it was ok to pick up. Anyway, long story short. I picked my uhaul up a day early and you have to check in online due to covid, cool I get that, but I kept getting error after error and they couldn't give me the keys until I checked in. Stupidest part was the man working was next to me the entire time so why couldn't he just check me in at the computer like normal? Once I got my truck, it was dirty it hadn't been swept out. I asked if I can drop it off at the closer location they said I could but minimum is 300 as a pick up fee. So uhaul rapes you because I'm sure they make most $ off mileage. So they make you pick up at the furthest location. I paid for 16 miles and 14 of that was picking up and dropping off. When I dropped off, I dropped it off 30 mins before schedule drop off. Cleaner than what I got it, and the online drop off said to put keys in drop box, but the lady working said leave keys in truck. I was a little skeptical as Nevada isn't the best area. I hope I never need to move again while uhaul is the cheapest they find other ways to rape you in the ass.Vivian R.
Make sure all functions on the trucks operate properly before renting them out. The driver side windshield wiper did not work on the one I rented and of course it started raining. I had to stop and pull over several times. Very dangerous! The check in process is now all the customer to do. It is very time consuming. When I expressed to the kid behind the counter that I did not care for the new process he responded by saying well it's the same thing if I had to do it. I told him the difference is you get paid to do and I have to pay to do. Not great customer service or user friendlyAMBER D.

Online check in is REDICULOUSLY long !! Took close to 45 mins. Enter all of your information,plus a friends name for them to call to verify you are who you say you are(even after they can see who you are) then you go find your truck, then you have to wait for the online person to call your friend,then you get a code to get the key out of a lock box, but before that,you have to enter all of your information AGAIN...then you get the code, walk all the way across the parking lot to get the key, walk all the way back across the parking lot to get in the truck, then you have to look at their pictures of your truck, and the truck,to make sure they match(no new damages) and THEN.......you finally get to leave. Bringing the truck back took about 5 mins. If you are on a time schedule,I would suggest you give yourself and anyone helping you move,some extra time....I DO reccommend this place because the women there were helpful and nice...just be aware of the lengthy check in process online.Tina M.

The truck cab wreaked of cigarette smoke. I had to keep the window down to breath. Dirt got in the cab when I had rock loaded. They charged me to have it cleaned inside and out. They went out of their way to look for things to charge me for. I didn't have this experience at other U-Haul rentals.STEPHEN B.

The gas was given to me at exactly 1/2 tank full. Your paperwork had the gas above 1/2 tank full and when I returned the tank was a little bit below 1/2 tank full and I knew there was going to be a charge for gas but 7 gallons was realistically too much and so I was overcharged according to my husband who drove a truck over the road for over 25 years. So, the company was not honest. More the principle, than the money part.JEAN P.

I had to knock off one star because of the lack of elevator at the facility. I was provided a 2nd floor unit but was not told that I needed to carry everything up a flight of stairs. If offered the option I would have taken a first floor unit. With that said everyone at this location was extremely friendly and helpful. The lady st the desk was rude when I got there to checkin to get my unit and then after return the trailer. The lady preceded to tell us that the person outside would help but there wasn't anyone outside that's why we'd went inside.
