The entire process from start to finish was terrible. Making the reservation online seemed simple. We looked into the one on powered and got a message saying they were out of the size we wanted but one on fountain/mallard had what we were looking for which was closer to home so better for us. The reservation was done, we submitted the pic of driver's license and got the ok to pick up. Later, we got a call stating they do not have the truck size I needed for the date I needed at the closest location they biggest they have was a 15 foot at north Nevada which is 7 miles from home. I said do you have anything at the fountain and mallard location? They said no. I asked why did I get a confirmation stating it was ok to pick up. Anyway, long story short. I picked my uhaul up a day early and you have to check in online due to covid, cool I get that, but I kept getting error after error and they couldn't give me the keys until I checked in. Stupidest part was the man working was next to me the entire time so why couldn't he just check me in at the computer like normal? Once I got my truck, it was dirty it hadn't been swept out. I asked if I can drop it off at the closer location they said I could but minimum is 300.00 as a pick up fee. So uhaul rapes you because I'm sure they make most $ off mileage. So they make you pick up at the furthest location. I paid for 16 miles and 14 of that was picking up and dropping off. When I dropped off, I dropped it off 30 mins before schedule drop off. Cleaner than what I got it, and the online drop off said to put keys in drop box, but the lady working said leave keys in truck. I was a little skeptical as Nevada isn't the best area. I hope I never need to move again while uhaul is the cheapest they find other ways to rape you in the ass.Vivian R.

Make sure all functions on the trucks operate properly before renting them out. The driver side windshield wiper did not work on the one I rented and of course it started raining. I had to stop and pull over several times. Very dangerous! The check in process is now all the customer to do. It is very time consuming. When I expressed to the kid behind the counter that I did not care for the new process he responded by saying well it's the same thing if I had to do it. I told him the difference is you get paid to do and I have to pay to do. Not great customer service or user friendlyAMBER D.

Online check in is REDICULOUSLY long !! Took close to 45 mins. Enter all of your information,plus a friends name for them to call to verify you are who you say you are(even after they can see who you are) then you go find your truck, then you have to wait for the online person to call your friend,then you get a code to get the key out of a lock box, but before that,you have to enter all of your information AGAIN...then you get the code, walk all the way across the parking lot to get the key, walk all the way back across the parking lot to get in the truck, then you have to look at their pictures of your truck, and the truck,to make sure they match(no new damages) and THEN.......you finally get to leave. Bringing the truck back took about 5 mins. If you are on a time schedule,I would suggest you give yourself and anyone helping you move,some extra time....I DO reccommend this place because the women there were helpful and nice...just be aware of the lengthy check in process online.Tina M.
The truck cab wreaked of cigarette smoke. I had to keep the window down to breath. Dirt got in the cab when I had rock loaded. They charged me to have it cleaned inside and out. They went out of their way to look for things to charge me for. I didn't have this experience at other U-Haul rentals.STEPHEN B.
I thought the entire U-Haul experience was quite pleasant. I was surprised how well-run and efficient the process was to rent the vehicle. I will consider doing this again when I need to haul something that will not fit into my own personal vehicle.Debora D.

Lots of business's have had to adapt to COVID. Some adaptations are clunky, and others paint a clear picture to the future. UHaul has done a great job in my estimation of creating an easy user experience that will likely persist post-COVID.Richard C.
The gas was given to me at exactly 1/2 tank full. Your paperwork had the gas above 1/2 tank full and when I returned the tank was a little bit below 1/2 tank full and I knew there was going to be a charge for gas but 7 gallons was realistically too much and so I was overcharged according to my husband who drove a truck over the road for over 25 years. So, the company was not honest. More the principle, than the money part.JEAN P.

I was give an 6' by 12' trailer that had a broken wire up, and I had to stop have through my trip across the county to find a U-Haul and have it replaced because the lights were out. And the front two tires were different sizes from the back two tires. It was horrible and terrifying to drive.Lauren H.
