I rented a appliance dolly and want to return it . I rented a trailer and dolly . I followed the after hours returning but it said nothing about the dolly. So, I'm at a loss of where to return the dolly.

it's been almost impossible to get ahold of anyone from this store. I'm sure they are busy, but I believe I left an item in a truck and have waited on hold for hours before being transferred to the 'call center.' Otherwise, a great experience overall. Will use them again in the future!

I did not receive my vehicle with a full tank and was told I needed to pay an extra $75 to fill the tank. I was told that because I did not take a photo of the empty tank that I'm required to pay the fee which I thought was ridiculous. Lastly, I made a reservation and this clearly shows reservations do absolutely nothing because the truck clearly wasn't ready.

The gas tank was filled only to half the tank and the clerk said to return it as found. Yet, when I returned it after only driving the truck for thirteen miles and putting in one gallon; the clerk that checked the vehicle charged me for gas. He said I had to return it at 5/8 gas tank which is not the amount of gas in the truck when picked up.

Lisa was amazing. She was direct, quick, and hospitable with me directly and also made it a point to go and work the waiting line. She was multi tasking and showing care for every customer. I spent 20 years as a fine dining manager and I know an amazing person when I see it. Lisa kept everything moving and everyone happy. I'll be back to see her next time I need a Uhaul which is 10-12 times a year. Thank you Lisa.

I had to wait in line for an hour even though I had a reservation. The location I use was short-handed so everything was chaotic, and there was almost a fight in line because of someone who tried to cut in when I was there to pick up the vehicle. And then when I came back, there was another dispute because there was only one bathroom and a customer caused the drama, the employee involved did not handle it well and used foul language. They were also not able to check me out properly because of printer problems, so they couldn't send me a receipt. It was an absolute disaster.

Picked up a tow dolly. The 1sr on was older without brakes. Upon getting to my location and loading the car. I noticed there were no tire tie down straps. Luckily I'm a mechanic and familiar with the unit. Had I not been, because no one reviewed the unit with me, the situation could have been much much worse. I had to return to the store and swap it out. The new one was much better but the paperwork was not updated. However that one I had to stop numerous times because no one ever lubricated the unit and the straps kept coming loose. Very poor.

After spending 20 minutes on the app securing a truck, a storage unit, a mattress protector and sofa cover ( which did not stay on), downloading my drivers license, there was no record of the any but the truck when we arrived. It appeared someone had recently painted the back “ledge” of the truck. It was tacky and some of it got on my daughters white sofa. It got on my white converse sneakers. We had to strain to get over the ledge to be sure nothing touched it to keep all boxes and furniture clean. When I reported upon returning the truck, it was blamed on maybe a homeless person or someone damaged it prior and painted over it ‍ an apology but no responsibility. No instructions given for utilizing our storage unit. We set off the alarm trying to get in our rented unit.梁

Verify the customer knows that they must do the return check in and not to listen to the Uhaul associated that says "just drop it back in the same spot and your done" Because I'm sure no one likes to be charged for keeping a trailer additional days when they returned it well before the return window on the same day.

The truck was a road hazard. The passenger side mirror was so lose it wouldn't stay in one place making lane changes to the right extremely difficult and dangerous. The steering was worn out to the point it was very difficult to stay within the lane. The truck had over 166K miles, and if it is to stay in service should have some substantial repairs done. The staff at the location were great which is the only reason I gave an average rating.

I spent 3 hours there to pick up a truck that had been reserved for a week. While there I saw no less than 5 other customers being told the rental they had reserved was not available at that location. One customer was told that the reservation center doesn't know what equipment is actually available at that location.

I tried using the DIY experience and it was extremely hard to use. We couldn't find the truck, we couldn't check in because Location is required on the phone, I was still required to go into the store and get the keys from a person (which defeats the purpose of the experience) but then when returning you shouldn't go in to the same place where you picked up the keys. It's very confusing, it doesn't make sense, it made check in significantly longer than I needed. The person who received the truck was rude and kept us there unnecessarily after check out. Overall, terrible experience with the DIY option.

I reviewed all the info online (website, emails, video) about how to drop off my truck (self-drop-off), only for the personnel on location to tell me it's wrong. I showed up to drop off my truck, went through all the checkout process, but there was no key drop off or lock box. So I went inside the store, and waited for the personnel to attend to another customer. When they got to me, they said I had to move my truck 30 ft under an awning for them to inspect it, and only THEN could I give them the keys. With three employees waiting outside, seemingly doing nothing, why did I, the paying customer, need to move the truck for them? I of course did it, but it made no sense and the other employees seemed to agree with me (they at least were accommodating).

Hire more people on weekends! The poor employee on the lot was racing around trying his best to service everyone. As a result my email receipt wasn't closed until I called location two days after return of truck and your system showed the truck not returned. However the staff got everything finalized on the spot to my satisfaction, thank you. Keep your heads up staff your doing your best at an extremely busy location.

A better explanation that the $19,95 price was only good for 23 hours, then it jumped to an outrageous $89 a day. Not very good truth in lending. Rita at the counter was fantastic. Manager Tristan did a great job explaining the difference in prices

All employees were very helpful and accommodating. The cashier was extremely patient with me. Even when he showed me were the storage size facilities were, the girl next to him knew I couldn't open them and opened them for me. They even offered me water. The young man who helped me with my boxes was extremely helpful with picking them out. He was also helpful with loading them up. It took me a minute to figure out how to put down my back seat and he waited patiently. I would highly recommend Uhaul the customer service was extremely excellent.

I did a walk in for a storage unit. Was informed they were sold out of the unit I wanted, but then someone said that they were moving out of their unit and someone went to make sure everything was cleaned and ready for move in. I then was able to get the storage unit I needed.

There is a women up front that works the reservations at the Slaughter/IH 35 location in Austin. . I wish I had gotten her name, but she made my move somewhat enjoyable. She is very pleasant, and very helpful and knowledgeable. She really seems to enjoy working customer service and does a great job. Thank you to her and the staff there you were great! Lauren Karlic

The staff here was unhelpful and expressed zero interest in meeting my needs. I am a very low-maintenance customer who has worked in customer service for many years and I was shocked at how little these employees seemed to care about anything at all. I terminated my lease the same day I moved in to go to a different storage facility.

We ran into an issue where the storage unit that I had booked online turned out to not be available after all. The agent explained that the unit was abandoned and it hadn't been seized and emptied yet. The fact that the website and onsite accounting could be so far off was really disappointing. I felt like my prom date ditched me when I went to pick her up.

Customer service call center , was VERY rude and not helpful at all. Was on hold for 45 min to tell me they couldn't find me in the system and I needed to go to the facility. The 3rd party movers for 2 1/2 hours late and I helped them move my stuff.

The employees need training on how to use your system, a lot of time is wasted by them trying to figure out the system. Also, very poor customer service. Several people waited more than 20 minutes inside the store & we were asked to handle our request through the app because it was 6:59 and they were closed.  She was the one that took long because she did not how to use your system and kept asking others for help!

This is the 3rd unit i have rented at this location. The facility is in excellent condition, is well-maintained, and well-lit. Sometimes the line at the retail counter gets a little long, but otherwise the level of service is excellent. Merci.

After clearing out my Unit, I received a Bill for not paying my Storage Fee. I had paid for that month. I received a Bill For This Month. Someone needs to learn to Update Their Files. UHaul provided a storage unit free of charge for 30 days for those of us who were negatively affected by the Winter Storm last month. This was very helpful to us while we moved stuff around to get broken pipes fixed and drywall replaced. You helped us manage through a very frustrating situation. Thank you so much, UHaul.

My only concern was that after I moved out of 3 units on January 2nd, I continued to get 'late fee' notices via email. Spoke with Corporate Office and she said would email the facility. Yesterday, I got another email with additional late fees.

U-Haul at Slaughter doesn't answer phones. During the pandemic, I went inside and only one worker, Jeanie was wearing a mask. Social distancing was not taken seriously. I had to call the national office numerous times to get a message to Ross the manager there. I had major heart surgery and didn't want to go back inside again because it was a risk to my health. Better attention to clients needs to be addressed. I had storage there since 2005. Glad that part of my life is over.

Messed up my billing and illegally locked me out of my unit. I called days ahead and was told by management that everything was taken care of, but was still locked out when I arrived with professional movers. Had to wait a half hour in long line for someone to unlock the unit. Even though I moved out on the 6th, was still made to pay for the full month through the 26th.

~ The truck has a very annoying, high-pitched whistle which occurs at about 70 miles an hour; not very fun on a 24-hour road trip! Seems to come from the driver's-side windshield, in the corner. ~ The air conditioning would also simply cut off, for no reason, causing us to scramble about playing with dials, etc. until it began working again. ~ The young man I initially spoke with about accessing our free 1-month self storage unit was more interested in telling me what was wrong-- i.e. he wasn't finding a reservation made from the Holland, Michigan store-- than in how to help me remedy the situation. I literally had to ask him, "So is there anything you can do to help me fix this instead of telling me what is wrong?" He immediately responded, "Oh! I can make a reservation for you." Why wasn't that his first suggestion?! ~ When I arrived to get my storage unit the help seemed unsure of what they were doing. When we were finally assigned a unit and took our first load up, we opened the unlocked unit to fin d it full of someone else's stuff! When I returned to the office, no explanation was offered for the mix-up and no apology for the inconvenience. Maybe a little better training in customer service is needed?

When I moved in the alarm system was malfunctioning and there didn't seem to be any urgency in fixing it. Also, the after hours entry system didn't work. Most of the staff was friendly, but some could have been more friendly. When I moved out, everything seemed to work fine.

I rested a u-box. When is cam to pick it up out of storage. I was not aware that they needed 24 hour notice to get it out of storage. When checking out U-haul should inform people to avoid delays.
