I made my reservation for a cargo van last Friday (Sept. 9th) to pick up on Monday, (Sept. 12th) with the understanding that you had a GUARANTEED RESERVATION policy when booked online. Due to circumstances beyond my control (the previous customer did not return the van back on his contracted date) I did not get the van until Wednesday, Sept. 14th. I was forced to move the furniture on my BIRTHDAY, and inconvenienced! The ladies who worked diligently to obtain the van for me were greatly appreciated, but I was told by the site manager (Andre Leday) that he would not honor the $50 Reservation Guarantee payment that I was entitled to receive. He said that I had to call your corporate toll free number and try to resolve the issue there (but he doubted that I would receive the payment since my total bill was under $60). I did not receive the cargo van on my guaranteed date, the reservation was made online, and I was not notified/contacted a day prior to the scheduled date to make other arrangements (I didn't know that the van was not available until I drove to your Uhaul location on the 12th AND 13th). Based on your written $50 Guaranteed Reservation policy, I am entitled to a $50 payment since my bill has already been paid in full. Please taken care of the immediately! I plan to write a review on Google and Yelp informing others of this shameless experience with your company. ***Also note that nowhere on your website does it mention that the bill had to be a certain amount to receive my due payment.*** SHAME ON UHAUL FOR NOT HONORING THE GUARANTEE AGREEMENT!!!Marc P.

The back only had one tire on each side , I had already had the u-loaded , when one of my guys notices this. If not mistaken it should have two tire on each side in the back . I am very irritated in the return process. I was told I could return the trailer same day and the store is open until 6:00. I was back the location before 5:00 and no one would help me. I then saw people to begin to leave and attempted to return online but had issues. One issue was there was no barcode to scan at the location. Two the website had an error and continued to timeout as the error message stated. I was then on hold for nearly an hour before I could speak with someone. This was horrible. Frankly I feel at a minimum Uhaul should refund by $19 rental fee.Adam S.

Have more "active employees" ready to help customers because there always seems to be long lines because UHAUL is a needed service and having to wait in long lines to rent a truck\vehicle is extremely time consuming and is irritating. There was ONE person ahead of me upon entering the storefront. There were FOUR Uhaul employees...not one of them said hi or even acknowledged me for more than 10 minutes. It took 45 minutes for me to finally get the truck and be on my way! The check-in process was much smoother and the gentleman that helped me was courteous and friendly. The first U-Haul we tried to rent the license plates was messed up on it they didn't have another license place to put on the truck and then the second truck they gave us the ignition switch was hard to turn the key you had to sit there for at least two to five minutes jiggling the ignition to get the truck started and we mentioned it to the manager he did nothing about itsusan H.

I drove the truck 33 miles and put 2,5 gallons of gasoline in it, and still got charged for 2 gallons of gas. I can't seem to get anyone to respond to my request to dispute this charge. The staff at the location are very helpful but there are not enough of them to provide adequate customer service. When you call you get put on hold and after 10 minutes the phone system hangs up on you automatically.Steven P.

I came into this location on 07/01/2022. The 2 women working behind the counter were excellent. I used restroom at this location, it was clean and smelled great, which was very unexpected. My only issue was apparently Uhaul's computer system was down. The Uhaul that I had reserved online, I could not pay for. There was an error with Uhaul's system, it could not access my card, which was saved in the system. It could not access my card in person. I had to leave the location and come back with cash. My rental was $168.00, I had to pay an extra $100 deposit to rent the truck, in cash. This process took over an hour. So, it no fault of the employees, just fault with Uhaul's operating system; on that day.Walter A.

I made my reservation online and when I arrived was told the unit I had reserved was not available. The only one that was available was almost 3 times the price. They called the closest other facility and they also did not have the right unit available so was going to be double what I reserved. Staff on location said "that has nothing to do with us it goes through corporate we can't help you." Reserved a 10x15x10 unit and when I went to get it I was told it was no longer available. I was then given a 10x10x10 unit. Once I was charged, I realized that it was was inside and the unit that was given to me was not there. So I ended up having to get a bigger unit. I arrived with a reservation for a climate controlled unit and it was over 90° in my unit. Had to change units but the staff wasn't very motivated to change it until I continually complained. This was a Sunday and a manger with the authority to do so was not on site. I was moved finally that same day. Since then, I have been contacted twice stating they didn't know which unit was mine. First time, we corrected the issue then a week later I was asked again because they lost the paperwork that I drove up there to fill out. I reserved the unit online. When I arrived, the staff did not know what was available or where the unit was located. I spent almost an hour (and $50 for hired Labor) waiting for my unit. When it was finally handed over, it was on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator in the facility. Large heavy items would have to be moved in the staircase which would be extremely difficult. I've had a problem with my door code but the manager yesterday cleared that up over the phone. My biggest concern there now is the fact that the lighting is not working at night so it's very very dark and unsafe. I spoke with facility yesterday and they told me that it was a problem that stemmed from the ice storm but he's working to get that fixed waiting on the electrician but I explain to him that is very dangerous and he said he would get on it right away again. The gentleman Nigel Hilliard was fantastic! He helped me get a better unit because I found out the original storage unit I booked online was upstairs and he had no elevator so Nigel Hilliard found me a ground unit outside to help because I did not have help unloading my truck. Nigel also tried to help me as much as he could with my truck dilemma but unfortunately the system would not allow him to help me more than what he wanted to but he has fantastic customer service skills and he definitely should be promoted to a better position if possible because you need more people like him in your establishment.James G. | Premières impressions

This location did not have the size of storage unit available on my move-in date, so my stuff had to be split up between two locations last minute. I also rented a truck and materials. Upon arrival I was told the moving materials I rented were not available. However, the truck I was assigned ended up having the supplies inside. The staff did not seem informed of who was coming in/going out that day plus they were understaffed.
