Well the rating really doesn't reflect what really happened. I went first to my usual location at I-10 / BW8, without a reservation, and they didn't have any 6x12 trailers. The nice lady there looked it up on the computer and said there was one at US290 / FairbanksNHouston and she would reserve it for me, text me and I could head over there. So I left. She called me a few minutes later to tell me that the FairbanksNHouston location computer was wrong and they really didn't have a trailer. In the meantime she had located one for me on W 34th street which was the same general direction. So diverting there I successfully got the trailer, moved my youngest son and got it back the same day. Without the really fantastic employee at the I-10/BW8 location it would have been a lot more trouble - she went out of her way to make sure that the customer was taken care of. The W34th location was great at getting me hooked up and taken care of. They were also very efficient and fast on return. The I10/BW8 location needs recognition also and the employee who made for a fantastic customer experience.

I mentioned driving to Denver many times and also mentioned a snow storm. The car tows wheels we had FROZE and we Jack knifed twice and ended up pulling a frozen trailer and car from Colorado Springs to Denver. VERY DANGEROUS!! Your car tow is NOT FOR THE SNOW AT ALL!!! You should NOT rent this to drive in any kind of snow or ice condition. The entire wheel rail and tires FROZE while driving on the highway!!

Online reservation/booking through the website was a NIGHTMARE. Once I went down that path, staff at the location didn't seem able or willing to help much. Pickup truck that was rented only had 6500 miles but had audible mechanical issues. Also, the truck reeked of cigarette smoke! Finally, the UHaul office (retail space) smelled horribly; I decline to expand on that as I understand these comments will be posted for public viewing.

Uhaul trailer running lights on 1 side did not work.Reservation changed to another location after we arrived (refund was issued). Tried to work with customer service to return trailer to closer location as hwy was shutdown & was told a double one way location would be charged. If we had another choice we would not use Uhaul.

We did the mobile process for checking out the truck. When we got the keys for the truck, we then found it that it wouldn't start. We then had to go through the whole process again for another truck. This significantly delayed our trip and moving.

The customer service representative was absolutely terrible, I spent close to 2 hours trying to get her to understand what type of truck I had, and she just would not listen. Another employee overheard her, and finally came from the back to tell her that I was right. Her appearance was horrible, from the blue hair to the nose ring, and the attitude was the worst. She wanted to measure my truck with a tape measure, so my experience with the equipment was fine, but dealing with the employee at pick up was the worst. She definitely needs customer service training, but on the bright side when I returned, another customer service rep. waited on me, and she was very professional, and knew her job.

I think it would be helpful to remind customers that moving pads are also due back when returning equipment. I had thought they were a purchase rather than a rental. I think it would be helpful for the customer to be educated about the 24 hour drop off feature. I think it would be helpful to look into why when a customer does a 2 day trailer rental starting Sunday 9am, it was required to return it Monday 9am. That is only a 24 hour period. I always enjoy the service employees provide!

Took forever, and it wasn't crowded. People were not friendly or helpful. Truck had trash under seat and cup holders were sticky and dirty, something I had to clean to avoid getting charged.

I was charged twice for an item. I could not see the tiny print without my glasses and saw my invoice via email when I realize that. I called the store and call rolled over to customer service which all they could do is email the location to call me back. Did that 3 times and they never called me back. The rollover feature is not good. Secondly, I purchased protective mats that were not included in the van. I get to my destination and realize they were not in the van. I had to drive back to get them which was such an inconvenience when paying movers by the hour.

I went to this location to pickup truck and auto transport trailer...However, they did not have the trailer so after a long period of searching a trailer was found at another location; I had to drive to the 2nd place to pickup the trailer.

I booked my rental online a few days in advantage, but when I arrived to the store the employees there had to take down all of the exact same information again that I had entered online. That should be easily avoided, and I should have been able to simply show my driver’s license and move forward. After that 20-30 minute task, we went outside to pickup my assigned trailer and found that one employee had assigned a certain trailer #, and that trailer was In the back of a row of 4. So, the employee attempting to hook me up proceeding to move the other trailers to get access to the correct #. After another 20 minutes with this, the employee who assigned trailer #s cane outside and said we could just take the one that was in front. We finally hooked up the front trailer and moved forward. I spent just under an hour at the store for what should have been a 10 minute task, and there were no other customers in the store at that time to cause any additional delays.

The service representative was rude, condescending, and told me I am wrong multiple times. It took 20 mins to check-out a 15ft truck w/ moving pads, furniture dolly, and appliance dolly (this was changed to a regular dolly without my knowledge). I set this appt up online a week in advance. I will not go to this location again.

Didn’t have anything I reserved. Two working people inside when I arrived. No one else there but it still took them 10 minutes to even acknowledge I was standing in front of them because they were on the phone. Only one of them was on a business call. When I dropped off, the woman was busy texting so she only used one hand to inspect the truck so she needed help opening the door. She couldn’t even bother two use two hands to do her job.
