J booked two different storage units and neither of them were available/ cleaned out for me to move my things into. This was very frustrating and a waste of time in the middle of a move.

I’ve had a problem with my door code but the manager yesterday cleared that up over the phone. My biggest concern there now is the fact that the lighting is not working at night so it’s very very dark and unsafe. I spoke with facility yesterday and they told me that it was a problem that stemmed from the ice storm but he’s working to get that fixed waiting on the electrician but I explain to him that is very dangerous and he said he would get on it right away again. The entire staff here is very helpful though so I know he’ll get it done.
The gentleman Nigel Hilliard was fantastic! He helped me get a better unit because I found out the original storage unit I booked online was upstairs and he had no elevator so Nigel Hilliard found me a ground unit outside to help because I did not have help unloading my truck. Nigel also tried to help me as much as he could with my truck dilemma but unfortunately the system would not allow him to help me more than what he wanted to but he has fantastic customer service skills and he definitely should be promoted to a better position if possible because you need more people like him in your establishment.
The employees were very nice and helpful. I had a very good experience.

1) The rate I was quoted when I made my reservation was .89 a mile, when I arrived to pick up the van, the rate was 1.09. 2) The 1st Truck that was assigned to me had a check engine light & oil light on and it kept making an alarm noise and the engine sounded like it was about to blow up. I returned it to exchange for a different one 3) The next truck that I was assigned, BOTH adapter outlets were not functional, so I couldn't charge my phone I'm most angered that I was lied to about the rate, I would have gone with a different option had I known the truth

*not secured at all, all my belongings got robbed and all they said was ohh we dont know if we have cameras there so we don’t think we can help *told them to cancel the storage unit months ago and they kept charging me *overall that location has no good and honest management and they dont care about the customer whatsoever
Make sure the truck transmission is right
equipment i had reserved was not available and my beginning mileage was wrong on my final bill.
The after hour check in process could be better , it's too easy for You'll to charge extra and say there were damages

Service was outstanding. One complaint. I reserved a pickup truck, but when I arrived, was told that it wouldn't be there on time. Was given a 10ft truck instead, but was charged .20$ more per mile (employee couldn't override it to give me the rate for the smaller truck, but he tried). I thought i had a guarantee that my truck would be there, but it wasn't. It ended up working fine, but the extra charge was disappointing. Again, not the employees fault, who tried to help and was incredibly helpful.
I reserved and checked in online for expedited service. Yet When I arrived to puck up, I still had to wait, sign, and give CC. There was no ramp on my 10' truck nor was it mentioned that it did not come with one. By the time I realized it, I was 40 miles away and ready to load up. This caused a much longer rental period then planned and unforeseen injuries due to heavy lifting.

Stop overcharging people then send them through hell to fix your mistakes. This was such a horrible waste of my time and money I will never use uhaul again after this.

I was in and out and on the road in no time. No high schoolers with their lagging work ethic, bad attitudes and laziness. These guys and gals were professional and about business. Go here if you want to skip the BS and get out on the road.
I was charged three times for an amount over my bill
Fix your odemetor. You showed me with 133 miles yet Google map shows that I clocked a little over 80 miles. Go figure.

Brand new van for my rental - nice to see newer vehicles with backup cameras. U-Haul should make sure new box trucks have them as well and advertise it as it greatly reduces anxiety when driving a larger vehicle.
The truck was dirty. The windshield was dirty and hard to see through when light it it just right. The steering felt very loose. Prices on items in the store were not correct. First set of straps said $19.99 but were $29.99, I tried another set of straps that said $19.99, but they were $24.99. They guy that helped with the return was good.
Vehicle smelled and employees were not wearing masks. Also $80 for a 2 hour trip is defiantly not the $20 advertised. Up charges are ridiculous.
Airbag light was on with and without passenger. You should be ashamed of renting unsafe equipment.

State of Texas and Harris County have mask mandates, and as a customer I chose this location expecting uhaul to follow the mandate for employees but none were. Additionally, I had completed online express check-in but had to check on again when I arrived on site. I don't think I will use this location again in the future.
Hello, it is in my best intentions to help you reflect the representation you have at THIS ESTABLISHMENT. The lack of representation and un tactfulness that completely discouraged me and The belittlement I felt led to the horrible experience I endured.
you would allow me to work out an affordable plan to catch up with my arrearages and you failed to follow the law and notify of yall liquidating my assets! When were my assets even liquidated?
The Manager Victor was excellent. I rent u-boxes and because of the timing had to pick them up and tow them. Over the pickup and delivery, Victor juggled getting the boxes switched out on the trailer while handling other customers. He did a great job.
Great Experience! We rented a 20' truck for our move, when the professional movers were almost done loading, we realized we had underestimated. I made a quick trip back for another 10' for 24 hours, just a half hour before they closed. They were nice, quick, efficient and I was back within half an hour. Easy to drive trucks, would definitely do it this way again.
This is the second week in a row renting a truck. The first went off without a hitch. Unfortunately not the second truck. Not only was I over charged when picking up. I was charged additional mileage I didn't use. I've rented from this location on several occasions before so I feel familiar with it's operations & procedures. Unless the additional charges are refunded I would not recommend this location or U-haul.
I used the pre-registration option on line and it took me only 20 minutes to get checked in and hooked up to leave. Great. customer service!
The auto transport trailer braking system was leaking brake fluid,which was addressed at return. It was noted i was not at fault for leaking. Thanks
It was guaranteed dollies would be available . Then during pickup no dollies available. I'm curious if I will get my $50 booking guarantee!
The general manager was real nice and helpful.
Be sure to clean the windshield and make sure the washer fluid reservoir is full and not leaking.
This location did not have the size of storage unit available on my move-in date, so my stuff had to be split up between two locations last minute. I also rented a truck and materials. Upon arrival I was told the moving materials I rented were not available. However, the truck I was assigned ended up having the supplies inside. The staff did not seem informed of who was coming in/going out that day plus they were understaffed. Though my overall experience was not satisfactory, Victor, the manager, did a good job rectifying the situation.
They need a few bigger storage units.

the young lady was excellant in customer service Topk very good care of us
paid for 24 hour access but when I was unable to access my storage the # given was NEVER answered . Multiple calls to get inside my storage with no answer had to com back the next day . Frustrating
General manager was Awesome!! She gave me a quick tour of the facility and she gave me the information that I needed to make sure my storage was OK.

Hannah is always very nice, friendly, and helpful. Even when people are being rude to her, she remains calm and tries to defuse the situation. We enjoyed working with Hannah and her staff.
I was told that there was a freight elevator available to move my things to the second floor. They only had a small elevator. I reserved at 10by 20, the manager gave me 2 , 5by 10 units instead.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful during a really stressful time. There are a few storage places in the area but in the end I’m glad I chose the 34th st location because of how it all worked out.

We did return our Trailer yesterday around 1:00pm. To date will still did not receive our email receipt. Hope you do send the receipt to our email address @ schagrin1@aol.com.
One of my storages was emptied by some unknown person or persons. I was not contacted about this. I moved my things out of the other storage on June 30, 2018. I informed the manager before leaving.
I haven't got a receipt for the truck that I rented? I have a bill on my credit card but they said would receive my final invoice by email and I never received it or had an opportunity to review it.
My first month rent was free the management allowed me the second month to take my things without a fee however my inventory or my merchandise was damaged by water that dripped from an AC so they said
Staff was always very helpful. Each time I accessed my unit the facility was clean and definitely the climate control was working! Next time I need additional storage I will be a repeat customer!
