When I got a van, I was told the gas level was on a 1/4 of a tank. When I went into the van the gas light was on and the 2nd van was supposed to be at 1/2 tank and it was a 1/4. The staff need to better check and accurately record the vehicle information.

Truck cabin was full of sandy dirt. Should have been swept out before renting. Online process failed a few times. So still had to verify all over in the store. Very clean location however smelled like dirty mop and u can see they just mopped.

I was very frustrated upon returning vehicle; I called for assistance was on hold 15min tried to walk thru return online but proved to be extremely difficult. I phoned for assistance again was able to report vehicle returned to same location I rented from. I hope I am not overcharged. If I have to return a vehicle again using your vide and walking thru obstacles I will not rent another vehicle from Uhaul.

A employee instead of taking customers that had been waiting for some time, instead started rambling about personal issues... that was until another employee told him to take the customer instead of complaining about personal issues. Employees can definitely be more prompt to helping out customers. But do have to say it after the ball started rolling it was great and I was out the door.

Uhaul Brocton on N Main Street is horrible! phine number 508-583 2230 I was overcharged for gas and daily rate, I tried calling to resolve the matter and kept being placed on hold. First time for 20 minutes so I hung up and tried calling back. I was placed on hold again and told that ppl in store take precedence over ppl on the phone. I held for 21 minutes. Then I called again and was placed on hold while trying to ask for the name of the rep I was talking to. YOU GUYS Are thieves and I will never use your services again

I was told over the phone that was truck was completely flat, as I was hauling a 400 gallon fishtank and needed a completely flat base, and that there were actual tie downs. There was just some wood along the walls. I set up the reservation to save time and basically redid every thing I did over the phone. WTF bother calling and uploading my license when. I have to do it all in person again.

In all of my years renting a Cargo-Van from the U-Haul located in Brockton; I am very unhappy. The customer service and the equipment was DIRTY. I've requested a call; refund/accommodation for my inconvenience and as of today. NO RESPONSE! I've received receipt of rental that does not belong to me and my bank card has been charged over the rental amount. #NOTACCEPTABLE

This was my second attempt to rent a U-Haul. My first was on Mass Ave in Boston on the evening of 11/15. When we arrived at the facility we realized we didn’t have the right attachment for the trailer. After several attempts, we finally got it right. By then it was around 8 pm and the parking lit was dark and not well lit. The trailer was also on a slight hill which made it even more difficult. There were two people attempting to help us (they didn’t seem very capable) and then they asked my brother Jeff to lift the trailer on to the hitch. To my knowledge, this is against your policy. The trailer then began to roll toward the truck and Jeff’s thumb was jammed so badly we ended up in the hospital for the entire night. It was a close call and he could have lost his thumb. This is an unacceptable experience and I would like to talk to someone further.

I found my U-Haul experience to be excellent the truck was brand new and very clean I had a 1000 mile trip and the truck made it with no problems at all I felt confident where it was brand new. I have no problem recommending U-Haul to anybody??

Thank you for the excellent and professional Manager. I had a problem with one of the employees that don't know how to respect the customer. Even after he checked that my trip was 6 miles only he wants to charge me 98.00 dollar for a full tank after I refuel 10 doolar. I tried to explain him that when I got the truck it was a 1/4 tank he did not want to leasing to me and just saying pay the 98 dollar. My time frame from pick up and the drop of was 2 hours. who use full thank gas on two hours frame or 6 miles trip? I called the Manager and after he checked the miles and with all respect and his professionalism he told me I was right and I was all set . Thanks again for the excellent Manager.

Unfortunately this is not a good rental service What they advertise and what they charge is great deal, this is my third time this year renting, it always cost way more with hidden things they don't tell you about. The rules are never given when reserved. In our ever changing world so people still not aware that credit cards,also have limited reach when they are automatic deposits. Again not explained at reservation.

I’ve only used Uhaul twice and this was my first time using the Brockton MA location. It’s unfortunate but my experience wasn’t the best at all. I was emailed a bill for $104 and looked at my bank statement and saw a charge for $493. I wasn’t emailed of any proof of the statement until I called customer service and spoke to a representative, this was 2 hours after the original email was sent. The customer service representative Mary was extremely helpful with sending me in the right direction, but I can not say the same about the general manager Phillip at the Brockton location. When I was able to speak to him, he stated to me that the charges will stick because we were going in circles. What confused me most about that statement was that he stated this to me after I had addressed all my concerns which were: - No one called about damages - No receipts were sent until I called customer service - No one checked cameras to ensure the damages weren’t done on site after drop off - Text about return wasn’t sent until after the return time I don’t know what uhaul customer service protocol is, but I am sincerely hoping it isn’t anything tied to making customer feel dismissed and unworthy

The total amount of mileage was over charged for my actual destination mileage. No one was able to assist me and accommodate the exact amount of mileage I actually used! I was very upset and no one was understand. The representative calculated the mileage at got 62 miles and yet could not accommodate because the odometer said 80 miles.
