Needed for 1 day but have had to pay for three days and as of now still have it due to no access to storage unit rented had to go elsewhere and get a storage building to prevent having to keep it another day hopefully I'll get my money back on the unit and some kind of discount on the van

Over all had made reservations and called and said we're going to be late once we got there they had given our u-haul to someone else after we had called and said we're on our way and had to wait 4 hours for another u-haul we feel they could of at least call and said we have to give your u-haul away because you're taking to long or even made a statement if you're more than 15 minutes late someone else gets the u-haul nothing like that but ok the u-haul here and once there no u-haul a 4 hour wait thanks.

They charged me for damaged I didn't cause. If you rent from them take pictures to protect your self. Worse company ever. Oh it was over 300. For scratches on a tail light I didn't cause.

I was giving a truck with a check engine light on. It did not run very well. However it was clean. Service was pretty slow. I've rented from various locations and this location was the slowest. The parking / truck lot seemed very disorganized in comparison to my previous experiences. Although U-haul in general is still my preferred rental company.

Love renting trucks and trailers from you guys . But your storage suck ass !!!! You took me out of the computer for months . Cut my lock . I told you guys and you did nothing. I couldn't pay . Then 6 months later you told me you guys made a mistake and put me back in . My number was 1285 in Evansville In . On riverside. My family had nothing. Had to replace everything! Because your manager lazy . Didn't want to look at what she did . Took over 4 000 $to buy new beds , cloths, dishes, everything from my home .

I reserved a truck for 9 am and by the time I actually got the truck I lost half an hour of using it. So I'm not pleased that I went over my 3 hr estimated hours of use and had to pay additional 40 something dollars for being late. Also I was under the impression that I could use it for however long without being charged more if I couldn't make it back by that time. It really needs to be stated that that's the case. Also when they only have one person waiting on customers, answering the phone and making everyone late on getting their trucks when they needed it. Seen one person walk out because it was taking too long.

It took an hour in the store to pickup even though I had a reservation. The location was completely unorganized and the staff didn't seem trained. The phone rang three times while I was there with the calls unanswered. They definitely need more staff!!

They need the general manager to come out of her office, get off the call she was on via speaker phone, stop bad mouthing other locations and customers, and help address the needs of the 5 people in line being serviced by one overwhelmed employee.

For the first time in about 10 years of dealing with u-haul I had to crawl under the auto transporter to undue the chains,tire straps,pull out the ramps or pay a 20,00 $ fee for a u-haul employee to do it. Is u-haul that hard up for money to have their customers (with no training) this work???

I made a reservation got there and my truck was not there. Instead of offering me a truck at the same price I was forced to get a higher cost truck or nothing at all plus a higher insurance. When I finished checking out the more expensive truck there were trucks lined up to be inspected and cleaned that I could have gotten had he took the time to check. I will not be back to this location and it's 2 minutes from where I live

It was awesome to thing a guy like me 25 with a wife and kid, to be able to go into a place like Uhaul and rent such a vehicle to move my family from house to house. I'd love to do it again and again. The flat rate fee of 40-50$ was awesome and at 0,8c a mile I wasn't complaining . Heck after 164570 miles y'all arn't either. But I was given the 26' truck with a little less than a half tank. By one little bar . Wasn't a full half tank. Put 25 $into it prior to leaving Evansville . Returned the uhaul in a timely fashion . And let me say that was awesome too! Just being able to park the truck, lock it up, and drop the keys is awesome. I left the truck with a QTR tank. 1/4 and ended up getting charged 55 $for 14gallonz of gas . I'm not too mad, but what am I to do. The customer service was awesome after dealing with everyone else she kept a great attitude. Thanks uhaul for letting me borrow the truck. Just wish I wasn't charged so much for gas !

I got charged 22 dollars for being 1/16 off on the gas, and I asked if I can run 2 blocks down the street to put the GALLON of gas in the tank that would make it correct, and the lady told me it was too late because she already checked it back in. I will never go there again

I drove 17,5 miles overall and got charged 85 miles . They lied on the mileage coming in . I asked to speak with manager she was so rude and basically saying since I didn't check the phone in on my phone that she can charge me whatever. I know for a fact I drove under 20 mins . She wasn't trying to let me explain or anything. I get unhauls all the time and never had any problem . Worst experience ever

Rented an auto transport. First one they were planning to give had a blown tire. Next one had a problem with braking, one wheel locked up when surge brake applied. Next one I left with would not raise the hitch stand. When I loaded auto it was about 1” or less from ground. Fourth one was ok. I spent ove 50 miles running back and forth and in excess of 3,5 hours wasted. I observed multiple flat tires on trailers setting around.

I was there over an hour and a 1/2 just to pick up a trailer. the lights didn't work on trailer store was under staffed only 1 person working outside. I've rented a few trailers lately and this was the worst thinking next time I'll rent from someone else

I'm 5 miles away from this location and 5,3 miles from a location in my city, but my city doesn't keep 26' trucks. Why is mileage 10 cents more? And why when I rent for a week do I pay the weekend mileage rate when 90 % of my driving is done on a weekday?

It was recommended that I use the online portal to complete the transaction but it is not user friendly. I had 3 different associates who did not know how to help me so I can to start over from the beginning. I was there almost an hour. The customer service was HORRIBLE!!

This is the UHaul store that I use for every needed rental. With my children moving from Baltimore to Evansville, this store made it VERY easy for me to book and pay for a rental for them. The Evansville store really took a load off my mind. THANK YOU!!!

I use to love this uhaul an the staff but for the past two months I can truly say the staff is not all that friendly. I won storage lockers thru an auction an uhaul is the very first place in 7 years I've been buying units that doesnt allow u to access these lockers when the office is closed. I bought 4 from the riverside location an 4 from other storage places. When people have jobs an also buys these it truly causes issues not to mention the weather causing the locations to close earlier has truly caused some issues I had to extend my uhaul 3 extra days there then leaving me behind to move my other 4 lockers. An when I would call the local location was just rude an you all expect me to except you all making changes do to weather etc but it was a problem when I had to make changes. Not to mention I am wheel chair bound so I couldnt even clean out or assist with getting these lockers out because u all are not handicapped accessible. Even the ramp in the back has a few stairs leaving me to have to depend on someone to assist me or to pay others to help which is wat I have had to do. I've spent a lot of money with this location over he past 2 years an with the past 2 to 3 months I've learned that uhaul may not be the company for me to use for my small business because I've now spent over 450 dollars in less then a month truly crazy honestly an to have to deal with peoples rudeness an attitudes

Fix needed repair. There was a floor plate. That was dangerous do to it being broke. It is located right in center of the floor. A tripping hazard. To everyone loadinf/ unloaded. I twisted my ankle and another person did too. Needs repaired before being rented again.

We when to return the truck and it took them and hour and a half. Now if that was us bring the truck back and hour late you would have to pay a late fee . So with that being said I think we should either let use use the truck couple day or a refund

I rented a 15' van on Friday at 3pm by 8pm the battery was dead. It took until 2am to get a battery from roadside. The tow company was supposed to replace battery and just gave us a jump. I went to make the next load and the trucks battery was dead again. I lost time with the truck.

The U-Haul website was a major problem. I was trying to establish an account. I live in Southern Indiana and every time I tried to put in my zip code I would get an error message saying that the zip code I was entering was invalid for my location. I finally gave up.

The website allowed me to choose a convenient location, but I was called several days before the arrival and told that only a handful of locations accepted U-Boxes. The location was changed from an option that was very convenient to me to one that required a forty-minute drive each way. This was a bait and switch. I will not recommend U-Haul or it's services.

Call the hotline and filed a formal complaint, hallways were exceptionally poor lighting. No lighting inside the units. Lights turned off while you're still working in the unit hallway lights worked. The men and the outside workers that worked with the trucks trailers we're very nice and helpful and exceptionally kind the office workers were the exact polar opposite very rude very ugly very demanding very slow. The manager was horrible. Doors were not open access was not available at their posted opening time access was closed and restricted 30 to 45 minutes before posted closing time. Hours of operation were not honored it was whatever was convenient for the employees. Very very overpriced for the service in the amount of space rented {period} would never rent from this location ever again may never consider renting U-Haul again.

Once we loaded our vehicle we noticed the tires air pressure looked low. So, after paying a shop to check air pressure it was found that all tires were 15 to 20 psi low. This is a major safety issue that haul would allow equipment to leave that had not been maintained.

The start of the process was easy. I did most of it online prior to arriving. The first trailer I assigned had a problem with the running/marker lights. The representative asked me if I would be driving at night. I was then told I could take it if I wanted if I was only using it during the day. I told the 2 reps helping me that I wanted a trailer with fully functional lights. I was then told to move to the one next to it. It was almost hooked up when we were told it this one was a one-way trailer. So we had to move to another trailer. I was able to leave with the 3rd one.

Upon arrival unit still had stuff from prior renter. Talk to front desk they wanted me to take one on 1st floor at around 30 $higher per month. I said you should give me that at same price. Would not so I removed the junk from room and placed in hall. While moving in they sent someone up to haul to dumpster. Almost missed my rental truck return time.

I resnted a unit only to find a lock on it. Because it was a personal lock they were unable to.remove it. They offered to give me a larger unit because the size unit I needed wasn't available. When we got to the larger unit, it had furniture, clothes and debris in it.i was told I would have to move out of the larger unit once a smaller unit became available. I wasn't willing to move my furniture twice. I cancelled my reservation!! I'm now looking elsewhere.

My personal experience wasn't that great. There was a whole thing where Everytime I came to town it seemed I couldn't access my belongings my swipey card didn't work after hours. I don't remember that being explained to me it said nothing about this in my contract I called an after hour number but couldn't get an answer.the online payment site was hard to use and charged me a late fee I never was able to get resolved. I rented on a holiday weekend when other facilities were closed so that was a convince others don't offer. The unit I had was very large at a very good rate. The staff at the office has always been more then helpful and very friendly.. I will always come here to get excite to impatience or anger; annoy trucks and accessories to haul but I would never recommend a storage here.

Had an absolutely terrible experience at Riverside Dr. location in Evansville, IN. Absolutely no customer service and no direction were given to me upon arrival of picking up the UHAUL truck and storage unit. Upon arriving we waited in line for 30 + minutes with only one other customer in front of us Of which 3 employees were standing around or sitting down behind the counter. The card machine was not working properly. That along with being basically ignored when we walked in the door and were the only ones standing in line was unacceptable. We were told after leaving with the truck that upon arriving with the truck we would then get further instructions and assistance with the storage unit I reserved. We arrived and once again were ignored by the blonde lady behind the counter. We received absolutely little to no instructions on how to gain access to the storage unit. We got to the storage unit and there was a lock on the door that was needing a key that no one told us about prior or offered assistance with and the store was closing in 10 minutes. I had to physically go down to the office and get assistance myself. The self check in process was terrible and I did not receive any account info or information on this process prior. I submitted it right at 8:00 PM the last possible time it was due before Being considered late. The unnecessary stress of the day did not help with my situation where I lost everything in a house fire 2 day's ago. I even expressed this to the manager behind the counter and he proceeded to down play my situation and make jokes about COVID-19. I will never be doing business there again and do not plan on keeping my storage unit more than just a few days before I will take my business elsewhere. I will not be paying anymore to this company and will refuse payment for next month storage unit rent and terminating my contract ASAP.

We had an indoor, climate controlled unit. U-Haul made it all simple. Rented the trailer, moved son from Indy to Evansville, emptied contents of trailer into storage unit at U-Haul&returned trailer.

THe only thing that would have increased my rating would have been to have lights inside of our unit. There were none so we bought battery powered lights to stick up on the wall so we could see.

The climate control storage was clean and well kept. It was well lit and access was 24 hours. I would get a climate control storage unit any time. The staff was most helpful and courteous.

I reserved a.c 10 x 10 x 8 climate controlled unit. Wehe Ik arrived, the unit I was given had a 4 x 4 x 6 air handler running through it effectively taking up @20 % of the room. I had to pay for 100 %

Rented a Uhaul to move to Florida tried to get a 10 foot Uhaul. Tried and tried to no prevail. Ended up getting a 15 foot Uhaul. I was worried I could drive it but it handle very well and gas mileage
