Everyone was very rude. To a surprising level. No greeting, not even a half-spirited attempt to seem friendly or professional. Everyone seemed put out that they had to do something though they weren't busy. Both the lady that checked me in and the guy that checked me out. The vehicle worked fine so… *shrug I guess?

I returned my vehicle early but the employees checked it in almost 2 hours later charging me for 2 rental periods. Luckily I checked the receipt and it was resolved by corporate, but still not something I'd expect or recommend to a friend.

Bait and Switch! I received a verbal quote of 116 $then was charged 500 $at the pickup location. Customer service is of no help. They would not check recording of my call. Next stop better business bureau.

Overall my experience with uhaul has been very good. My only complaint, the day I moved out of storage the bathroom was dirty.

I dropped off after hours. I had to use the App. The questions were on the app, but the app did not accept the photos that were required to complete the process. I simply walked away having tried for thirty minutes to follow the app. U-Haul is great in person and this place is the same way. The App and customer service on the phone is a joke and If you need that, stay away from U-Haul.

Do not use the Uhaul website to reserve a product. Call the retailer instead to make sure they have the product in stock. The place I reserved it from decided to close for the weekend and the reservation was moved to another pickup location that was out of my way. And he didn't have any product in stock to rent. That's what made it very stressful to an already stressful day.

We were in a difficult situation. 300 miles from home and transmission problems with one car. Without prior notice, we walked in and rented a pickup truck and trailer to carry the vehicle within 20 minutes. Staff professional and courteous.

They tried to double charge me. They changed my reservation and did not notify me. They said they would take care of the truck return and to just drop it off. I have an hour early and they charged me card for an extra day. I had proof of everything and I was due a refund however the one I received was the incorrect amount.

Have the truck that I reserved and paid for on site and available. They had 5 on the truck I ordered on site but made me take a truck twice a big which I did not want. Only gave me a days notice.

I was charged for an extra day when I actually returned the trailer a day early. Please enter the returned rental into the computer asap so customers are not charged for an extra day of rental. The wait time to talk to customer service was 40 minutes, way to long to fix a mistake not caused by me.

What you can do to improve your business is quit cheating people out of money, I brought a U-Haul back and I put it back where it was where the paper said and I got charged 19 $and something for two gallons of gas and they will not return it and I am aggravated with them I will not recommend this place to anyone I will not rent again from this place and as far as I'm concerned they can shove that right up their ass . Because apparently they need that money more than I do

Tire pressure on driver rear 72 psi...passenger rear 33. Why wasn't that checked and on site air compressor not working according to vehicle intake guy but no offer made to switch. Wasn't offered a switch and had to ask. It was as if expected for me to just go do it. I asked for, and got, another van. Overall things were good. Why don't you all fill the gas tank and have it returned that way????? Staring your day with 1/4 tank is ridiculous.

The ac did NOT work, but blew hot air around. After sweating in 98* heat and high humidity itnwoukd have been nice to some how cool off. We tried to get some sort of moneys off for this but to no avail. We let the kid know behind the counter who did nothing.

This was the worst experience I have ever gotten from anywhere. First I was supposed to pick the UHaul up in Newburgh but when I arrive at the Newburgh store I was informed that I had to go to the Riverside store to get it. That was strike 1! So I drove to Riverside and they gave me the UHaul. I asked about the moving dolly's that I requested and they said they didn't have any however on the website it states that the UHAUL site always has these on hand. That makes strike 2! I figured since I couldn't get the dolly's I would still be okay because I had enough help. When I got to the truck I realized it was on empty so I asked them to put gas in it. They informed me that since I was renting the truck it was my responsibility to put gas in it. I ended up putting 100 $dollars into the tank. That wasn't even 3/4 of a full tank!! Strike 3!! When I got the truck back home and opened the back door to start loading it I found out that it was dirty and covered with cigarettes!!! This was DISGUSTING!!! I will never rent from UHAUL again and I will inform my friends and family to never use this service!! Worse experience ever!!!!!

I made my reservations a month before moving and we were suppose to get a free month of storage free then pay for our storage afterwards on the next month. But when we went to return the truck ( gas up and clean) just needed the storage, they said” we don't do that hear and they still have a storage but we would need to pay for it. Told them we went threw their website U Haul and the person made all the arrangements sorry but no we change our position on the free month no longer do that! My daughter call me told me what was going on so I call the website had to go threw 5 different people on hold trying to get things figure out, finally the last person was able to help me out, she call and discuss this with this place general manager then the person call me back to let me know what took place and that the general manager would be calling me back real soon, but that never happened so I called and she said “ told me it was over rude and we had are storage waiting for us, she was off Standish and short on the phone! We took the truck down there again another problem 1storage they gave to us was all ready rented to someone else and then they up us on the storage to a bigger one from 125 to 160.00. So I will be looking for a different place to rent before the next month! Never saw the general manager but the first girl went into her office came out laughing!! Bad business never had this kind of insulting behavior from this business!!!

If you are going to change a person's pick up location firstly you should CALL THEM. Secondly, you should deduct mileage for the extra travel. I paid 20 extra miles. Nevertheless, the lady at the counter was 100 % what I wish every customer service experience to be! Very perfect in every way! The drop off guys were hard at it and very friendly. The utility van was nice and got great gas mileage. The Passenger RR tire pressure light would not go off?

I was VERY upset as I drove LESS than 10 miles but it was recorded that I drove 92 miles. Ironically, I didn't even have to put gas in it as it was still on full.i have used this location 4-5 times in the last 8-9 months and I've never had this problem. I admit I was in a rush and didn't check the "out milage" to the contract before pulling out.i understand things happen but I drove from the U-Haul lot..to 3011 Southeast Blvd 47714, directly to 1137 S Harlan Av 47714, back to Southeast Blvd, and from there directly back to drop the U-Haul off. I am VERY disappointed that I was billed 92 miles instead of 9-10 miles that it was actually driven

Again, great job. Only thing I'd say is just make it clear that we're to park the truck on return and come in. The guy in front of me in line and myself were both thinking someone would come out and that wasn't the case. Which is all good. Both of us just didn't know.

Somehow, my reservation was lost and when my friend, who was my contact, went to measure a piece in storage, there was a lock on the door. It wasn't my fault, as I didn't delete the account or close it. It was UHaul's fault. I will credit the desk person with being very helpful and forthright. She didn't charge me for last month. But, now I can't use my old contact, who is a trusted friend and who has a key to the place. I was told I had to use a new one. This is preposterous. There was no reason for me change that was given and this person I have as my contact I have known well for over 15 years. Please find a reason and explain to me why I can't use the person I trust the most in my life as my contact. Mind you, he is a site supervisor for a security company and has passed multiple background checks for his jobs, so to that end, I'm angry. You get three stars because the desk person (I don't remember her name) was excellent in her customer service.

Hours changed every day was over charged twice couldn't use my code to access my unit after 7pm and I paid extra for that as well as forces to buy 3 different locks throughout the whole experience my trailer didn't have the correct wiring so I had no lights on it which forces me to spend another 40$ on a special attachment was a horrible experience all around

We had the vehicle reserved for 9am. When we got to the location the truck was not there. No one called to give us notice that the vehicle was not ready. She calls the people while we are standing there and he can't have it back until 2pm. By 2 no one called us, I called them and was notified that the vehicle was there. Question is how long? We traveled from out of town and this situation pushed our moving schedule way behind and didn't end up getting home until the AM of Monday when we were supposed to be back before time for work Monday.

Brought truck in a day early but forgot appliance dolly. Had a friend bring it, but he got their 15 minutes after my turn in time and the employee charged me for another days rental. Total bullshit. The employee was a slob, rings in nose, raggy street clothes and bad attitude. Will use Penske from now on !

I tried for over an hour to check my vehicle in after hours but before my allotted time expired. The uhaul system simply would not let me check in even though i was in my account. I sent a message to the location about my issues, They still added an addition 19,95 $ charge to my credit card. Not happy.

The 10ft one-way truck that we had reserved two weeks prior to pick-up wasn't available when we went to go pick it up at our reservation time. We received an email advising that someone would be calling us the night before to confirm and we never received the phone call. The woman at the front desk was rude and condescending.

Please don't rip off people!!!!! I ordered 20 feet truck and car transport but I was given 26 feet truck and a dolly. After I picked up the truck I went back to the location because I felt there was some thing wrong with the truck engine but they didn't do anything. I drove from Evansville, Indiana to Westminster, Maryland and it took me two days because I was not able to drive more than 45 miles per hr!!!!!!

Using uhaul is never a problem, same cannot be said about the staff. Equipment and van wise: the van was so much better than the truck and I will definitely be using it again. The storage was easy to get to and there was carts to help load it. I did not know I only made a reservation for the storage and the only problem I had was the lady (Jonnie) was really rude. Too much attitude and not enough caring. Other than that uhaul is the best at moving!

I was happy with my prior experiences and even tho it was 15 or 20 yrs ago I thought I'd see if you could do it again. In fact it was this same Uhaul store I used as well. Place still looks clean and well maintained and I don't have much but feel comfy using yall again cause some these storage places are run down or often robbed lack of security. Hope I'm right and thanks yall!

There was mouse poop and roaches in my things after moving it out. I complained once earlier this year and it was ignored. When I was moving out the staff left the office and stopped answering the phones. They left the lock on my unit after I was paid up for over a week. No one noted that I left the facility even though I did inform them and the company attempted to charge me again. You charge a lot of money for my things to be messed up. The manager told me I should have paid extra for coverage for something that they clearly knew was going to happen. If I had been told it was a guarantee I would have, I guess. Katie wasn't interested in "resolving my dispute" but we will contact a lawyer concerning U-Hauls "pest free facility"

Although the girl in the office was very efficient there was the need for another customer service employee. Was approx a 30 minute wait. The online checkin didn't work well. Also a female employee was to bring the truck around to us. After waiting an addl 25 minutes I walked back to find her sitting in a truck listening to the radio playing on her cell phone. I was not the only customer waiting. I preferred renting a truck in Jasper IN but was inconvenient to put the extra miles on it since the move was contained in Evansville IN. Pay for more help!!!! And the employee that did help me needs a raise. She was very knowledgeable and courteous while under stressful conditions!!!

I rented the storage unit and my parents rented the trailer to help me move. My experience was fine but my parents had one incident. After hooking up the trailer my parents, and not the employees, noticed one of the rear brake lights were out. They brought it to a female employee's attention and was told that "it didn't matter because it was daylight."

I use to love this uhaul an the staff but for the past two months I can truly say the staff is not all that friendly. I won storage lockers thru an auction an uhaul is the very first place in 7 years I've been buying units that doesnt allow u to access these lockers when the office is closed. I bought 4 from the riverside location an 4 from other storage places. When people have jobs an also buys these it truly causes issues not to mention the weather causing the locations to close earlier has truly caused some issues I had to extend my uhaul 3 extra days there then leaving me behind to move my other 4 lockers. An when I would call the local location was just rude an you all expect me to except you all making changes do to weather etc but it was a problem when I had to make changes. Not to mention I am wheel chair bound so I couldnt even clean out or assist with getting these lockers out because u all are not handicapped accessible. Even the ramp in the back has a few stairs leaving me to have to depend on someone to assist me or to pay others to help which is wat I have had to do. I've spent a lot of money with this location over he past 2 years an with the past 2 to 3 months I've learned that uhaul may not be the company for me to use for my small business because I've now spent over 450 dollars in less then a month truly crazy honestly an to have to deal with peoples rudeness an attitudes

Call the hotline and filed a formal complaint, hallways were exceptionally poor lighting. No lighting inside the units. Lights turned off while you're still working in the unit hallway lights worked. The men and the outside workers that worked with the trucks trailers we're very nice and helpful and exceptionally kind the office workers were the exact polar opposite very rude very ugly very demanding very slow. The manager was horrible. Doors were not open access was not available at their posted opening time access was closed and restricted 30 to 45 minutes before posted closing time. Hours of operation were not honored it was whatever was convenient for the employees. Very very overpriced for the service in the amount of space rented {period} would never rent from this location ever again may never consider renting U-Haul again.

Upon arrival unit still had stuff from prior renter. Talk to front desk they wanted me to take one on 1st floor at around 30 $higher per month. I said you should give me that at same price. Would not so I removed the junk from room and placed in hall. While moving in they sent someone up to haul to dumpster. Almost missed my rental truck return time.

Very unsatisfied with uhaul and how unprofessional my situation was handled. I had a reservation days before and it was not available when I got there and had to wait 4days to unload my uhaul.

I resnted a unit only to find a lock on it. Because it was a personal lock they were unable to.remove it. They offered to give me a larger unit because the size unit I needed wasn't available. When we got to the larger unit, it had furniture, clothes and debris in it.i was told I would have to move out of the larger unit once a smaller unit became available. I wasn't willing to move my furniture twice. I cancelled my reservation!! I'm now looking elsewhere.

My personal experience wasn't that great. There was a whole thing where Everytime I came to town it seemed I couldn't access my belongings my swipey card didn't work after hours. I don't remember that being explained to me it said nothing about this in my contract I called an after hour number but couldn't get an answer.the online payment site was hard to use and charged me a late fee I never was able to get resolved. I rented on a holiday weekend when other facilities were closed so that was a convince others don't offer. The unit I had was very large at a very good rate. The staff at the office has always been more then helpful and very friendly.. I will always come here to get excite to impatience or anger; annoy trucks and accessories to haul but I would never recommend a storage here.

Oh such great fast service. I was so surprised that it was so quick and easy. In and out. Same with the return. I have used U-Haul once in the past and the experience was bad, so it was a surprise.
