Please don't rip off people!!!!! I ordered 20 feet truck and car transport but I was given 26 feet truck and a dolly. After I picked up the truck I went back to the location because I felt there was some thing wrong with the truck engine but they didn't do anything. I drove from Evansville, Indiana to Westminster, Maryland and it took me two days because I was not able to drive more than 45 miles per hr!!!!!!

Using uhaul is never a problem, same cannot be said about the staff. Equipment and van wise: the van was so much better than the truck and I will definitely be using it again. The storage was easy to get to and there was carts to help load it. I did not know I only made a reservation for the storage and the only problem I had was the lady (Jonnie) was really rude. Too much attitude and not enough caring. Other than that uhaul is the best at moving!

UHaul reservation was cancelled due to no trucks, but it was available for an extra fee. Truck and auto transport not available at the same location. Was a headache to get it all coordinated.

The uhaul store at 1200 E Riverside is always helpful and has their equipment ready. I had reserved a truck at another location and it was not ready. Had I not been proactive at securing another piece of equipment, I would not have made my move on the day I wanted. Uhaul customer service communication was very poor.

Train your associates to know what clearance lights are. When checking out the trailer we did a light check. I ask the associate the check the clearance lights and she gave me a dumbfounded look. I asked her again to look at the clearance lights and she didn't know what I was talking about. I had to get out and check the lights myself

No complaints. We were supposed to get a 10 foot truck and the person that rented it before us didn't bring it back in time for us to use it. The ladies working in the morning around 10 am on Friday July 23rd 2021 we're exceptional. They were apologetic and offered another, bigger truck they had. They charged us the same price for the bigger truck as they would have for the 10 foot truck. Fantastic customer service! You do t run into that too often. It was much appreciated.

I was happy with my prior experiences and even tho it was 15 or 20 yrs ago I thought I'd see if you could do it again. In fact it was this same Uhaul store I used as well. Place still looks clean and well maintained and I don't have much but feel comfy using yall again cause some these storage places are run down or often robbed lack of security. Hope I'm right and thanks yall!

I returned the truck EARLY at midnight it was due back the next morning about 10:45 am. I wake up that morning to find a email with a receipt for 40 $. for an additional day. Additional day when I brought the truck back almost 1/2 a day early. Call the number on the receipt for drop off location and get a voice mailbox that wasn't set up!! Called u-haul customer service and had to hold on for 45 minutes to get a refund, and have to wait 3-5 days for it. We have used u-haul for MANY moves in different states and NEVER have had a problem.

UHaul completely fumbled my reservation I had set with another facility, they didn't even call it in. But this facility had the things I needed to pull my project car home. So facility side, everything was fine. But uHaul could atleast alert about the status of a reservation and whether the selected facility has even been notified.

This is the worst location of a Uhaul I have ever used. I would rather drag my stuff with a rope than to use a truck from this place (assuming they even have it). I rented a truck that I didn't get and I didn't get any of the equipment that I rented as well. Still no refund or change was given. This place is garbage.

I rented 2 trucks 3 times over a period of a week. Each time the truck needed to be cleaned upon pickup. However when trucks were returned I took the time to ensure the trucks were clean. But they still charged me a 25 $cleaning fee. Plus I reserved my trucks 48 hours in advance only to have to wait another 48 hours because they double rented the trucks

Had a problem with the trailer shaking. took it it another uhaul dealer and the looked at the tires and said the tires look bad and was told they couldn't help me. That I should call the roadside help. But just be warned it takes 6-8 hours to get help. I didn't have that much time to just sit there. So I drove it home. A 7 hour trip normally took 9 1/2 . It also damaged a few things . I told the dealer when I return it to take it out of service.. You should really have someone at your bigger dealer be able to work on trailers or change a tire.

Ask for Janna. For the first try I requested a truck I could pick up in my city of 150 000 people. The next day I was sent a text saying I had to pick up a 15' truck ( common size) in a town 30 miles away. I went back and asked Janna for help and got what I wanted a day later which was fine. She went the extra step.

My reservation was at a different location. I got a call the day before saying they wouldn't have what I reserved and would have to pick it up at a different location. Once we arrived on the day of, they also didn't have the truck I reserved. We eventually got a bigger truck but I was charged more for the bigger truck! Then they did not thank the dolly that I reserved. Our timeline for moving was put on delay for over 2 hours while we waited for the situation to be worked out. Then we had to try to find a dolly elsewhere. This was very poor service!

There was mouse poop and roaches in my things after moving it out. I complained once earlier this year and it was ignored. When I was moving out the staff left the office and stopped answering the phones. They left the lock on my unit after I was paid up for over a week. No one noted that I left the facility even though I did inform them and the company attempted to charge me again. You charge a lot of money for my things to be messed up. The manager told me I should have paid extra for coverage for something that they clearly knew was going to happen. If I had been told it was a guarantee I would have, I guess. Katie wasn't interested in "resolving my dispute" but we will contact a lawyer concerning U-Hauls "pest free facility"

Everything was great. Katie who checked the rental out was very friendly and helpful. Return process was also smooth and I cannot remember the girl who checked the rental in. I do not have any suggestions for improvement. Thank you very much!!

Spoke to 26 foot box truck online three dayss before pickup. called me the day before said they don't have it... Only had a 20 foot so that HAD to work with me then they charge me a lot extra. Seems like online and in store is not connected at all and should run smoother

When dropping off the truck at the Erlanger location, the attendant was rude and yelling at customers outside about parking locations. We never received a return receipt from this location. When I called the next day to request a receipt, I was on hold to speak to someone at this location for 51 minutes.

I drove 19 miles. They charged me for 4 gallons of gas. There is no way the 15ft truck we rented only got 4 mpg. I was also told I would receive a 20 mile credit because we had to pick the truck up at a different (further away) location. That credit was also not on our reservation.

Add additional staff. The one person was capable of doing the job, but was overwhelmed, disgruntled, and possibly bitter. I may be a good idea to invest in have the staff attend a refresher in customer service training or group training, Drain the swamp and hire, higher energy people or provide better incentives to provide an attitude displaying confidence and flexibility as a customer representative. Customer service is about customer confidence, I left with the impression that the staff at U-haul are bitter, it left me sad for them

The receptionist was being verbally abused by 2 sets of customers in front of us. I felt so bad for her. It was not her fault one set came in 3 hours late and another one has issues with her reservation. She was very amazing with us and we appreciated her!

Uhaul location didn't have the truck I ordered because apparently the a/c went out and didn't even bother to call me ahead of time to tell me when they found out the day prior! I was only given the option to drive a 26'truck with a tow dolly and it cost so much more gas money than the 16' truck would have!!

A lady by the name Jonnie didn't connect my trailer correctly and told me it was my car that was damaged because the left blinker on the trailer was not working on the trailer. I ended up going to various mechanics to get my electronics looked at and after several diagnosis which l paid for no problem was found on my car and l returned the next day and a different person connected the trailer and it all worked well.

The overall service is great but uhaul always manages to charge my debit card extra and keep the deposit everytime. I was out of 64 $for a 19,99 $ truck rental and only had the truck for 2 hours🤬🤬🤬

Check in the lady was busy texting and check out I stayed in the truck behind 4 others trucks that were empty watching the staff run around and chit chat they all went inside ...after waiting an additional 10 mins in my truck in line to check the truck back in I went inside to see the staff cutting up when I asked what's going on they said oh most people just drop it off and leave I said I was simply following the directions on the sign she apologized but non the less after moving all day in the heat I was irritated with the situation fact is they didn't realize I was in the dang ole truck they thought is was empty like the rest and decided to to inside and bs.

I rented a van for two days with a return time of 5 PM on a Sunday. The store closes at 5 PM on Sunday which I did not know but I returned the van at 5:02 and they were closed put the keys in the dropbox but I got charged for an extra day which I don't think is right.

The location and the equipment were great. The problem was the pickup location changed and I wasn't notified. Showed up at the scheduled time and was told my appointment had changed. Had to drive quite a distance for pickup and was late getting started. This is not acceptable.

Although the girl in the office was very efficient there was the need for another customer service employee. Was approx a 30 minute wait. The online checkin didn't work well. Also a female employee was to bring the truck around to us. After waiting an addl 25 minutes I walked back to find her sitting in a truck listening to the radio playing on her cell phone. I was not the only customer waiting. I preferred renting a truck in Jasper IN but was inconvenient to put the extra miles on it since the move was contained in Evansville IN. Pay for more help!!!! And the employee that did help me needs a raise. She was very knowledgeable and courteous while under stressful conditions!!!

I rented the storage unit and my parents rented the trailer to help me move. My experience was fine but my parents had one incident. After hooking up the trailer my parents, and not the employees, noticed one of the rear brake lights were out. They brought it to a female employee's attention and was told that "it didn't matter because it was daylight."

I use to love this uhaul an the staff but for the past two months I can truly say the staff is not all that friendly. I won storage lockers thru an auction an uhaul is the very first place in 7 years I've been buying units that doesnt allow u to access these lockers when the office is closed. I bought 4 from the riverside location an 4 from other storage places. When people have jobs an also buys these it truly causes issues not to mention the weather causing the locations to close earlier has truly caused some issues I had to extend my uhaul 3 extra days there then leaving me behind to move my other 4 lockers. An when I would call the local location was just rude an you all expect me to except you all making changes do to weather etc but it was a problem when I had to make changes. Not to mention I am wheel chair bound so I couldnt even clean out or assist with getting these lockers out because u all are not handicapped accessible. Even the ramp in the back has a few stairs leaving me to have to depend on someone to assist me or to pay others to help which is wat I have had to do. I've spent a lot of money with this location over he past 2 years an with the past 2 to 3 months I've learned that uhaul may not be the company for me to use for my small business because I've now spent over 450 dollars in less then a month truly crazy honestly an to have to deal with peoples rudeness an attitudes

Call the hotline and filed a formal complaint, hallways were exceptionally poor lighting. No lighting inside the units. Lights turned off while you're still working in the unit hallway lights worked. The men and the outside workers that worked with the trucks trailers we're very nice and helpful and exceptionally kind the office workers were the exact polar opposite very rude very ugly very demanding very slow. The manager was horrible. Doors were not open access was not available at their posted opening time access was closed and restricted 30 to 45 minutes before posted closing time. Hours of operation were not honored it was whatever was convenient for the employees. Very very overpriced for the service in the amount of space rented {period} would never rent from this location ever again may never consider renting U-Haul again.

Upon arrival unit still had stuff from prior renter. Talk to front desk they wanted me to take one on 1st floor at around 30 $higher per month. I said you should give me that at same price. Would not so I removed the junk from room and placed in hall. While moving in they sent someone up to haul to dumpster. Almost missed my rental truck return time.

Very unsatisfied with uhaul and how unprofessional my situation was handled. I had a reservation days before and it was not available when I got there and had to wait 4days to unload my uhaul.

I resnted a unit only to find a lock on it. Because it was a personal lock they were unable to.remove it. They offered to give me a larger unit because the size unit I needed wasn't available. When we got to the larger unit, it had furniture, clothes and debris in it.i was told I would have to move out of the larger unit once a smaller unit became available. I wasn't willing to move my furniture twice. I cancelled my reservation!! I'm now looking elsewhere.

My personal experience wasn't that great. There was a whole thing where Everytime I came to town it seemed I couldn't access my belongings my swipey card didn't work after hours. I don't remember that being explained to me it said nothing about this in my contract I called an after hour number but couldn't get an answer.the online payment site was hard to use and charged me a late fee I never was able to get resolved. I rented on a holiday weekend when other facilities were closed so that was a convince others don't offer. The unit I had was very large at a very good rate. The staff at the office has always been more then helpful and very friendly.. I will always come here to get excite to impatience or anger; annoy trucks and accessories to haul but I would never recommend a storage here.

Had an absolutely terrible experience at Riverside Dr. location in Evansville, IN. Absolutely no customer service and no direction were given to me upon arrival of picking up the UHAUL truck and storage unit. Upon arriving we waited in line for 30 + minutes with only one other customer in front of us Of which 3 employees were standing around or sitting down behind the counter. The card machine was not working properly. That along with being basically ignored when we walked in the door and were the only ones standing in line was unacceptable. We were told after leaving with the truck that upon arriving with the truck we would then get further instructions and assistance with the storage unit I reserved. We arrived and once again were ignored by the blonde lady behind the counter. We received absolutely little to no instructions on how to gain access to the storage unit. We got to the storage unit and there was a lock on the door that was needing a key that no one told us about prior or offered assistance with and the store was closing in 10 minutes. I had to physically go down to the office and get assistance myself. The self check in process was terrible and I did not receive any account info or information on this process prior. I submitted it right at 8:00 PM the last possible time it was due before Being considered late. The unnecessary stress of the day did not help with my situation where I lost everything in a house fire 2 day's ago. I even expressed this to the manager behind the counter and he proceeded to down play my situation and make jokes about COVID-19. I will never be doing business there again and do not plan on keeping my storage unit more than just a few days before I will take my business elsewhere. I will not be paying anymore to this company and will refuse payment for next month storage unit rent and terminating my contract ASAP.

We had an indoor, climate controlled unit. U-Haul made it all simple. Rented the trailer, moved son from Indy to Evansville, emptied contents of trailer into storage unit at U-Haul&returned trailer.

THe only thing that would have increased my rating would have been to have lights inside of our unit. There were none so we bought battery powered lights to stick up on the wall so we could see.

The climate control storage was clean and well kept. It was well lit and access was 24 hours. I would get a climate control storage unit any time. The staff was most helpful and courteous.

Oh such great fast service. I was so surprised that it was so quick and easy. In and out. Same with the return. I have used U-Haul once in the past and the experience was bad, so it was a surprise.

I reserved a.c 10 x 10 x 8 climate controlled unit. Wehe Ik arrived, the unit I was given had a 4 x 4 x 6 air handler running through it effectively taking up @20 % of the room. I had to pay for 100 %
