I was called and told I had 24-48 hours to move an entire stotage building to an inside unit so they could do work. I informed them I was over 1.5 hours away and couldn't and asked for a manager to call me which I never received that call. Very unprofessional

She was very helpful and friendly. Only complaint was the milage didn't add up. We rented from greenwood and drove to address in Greenville 29617this is only 56 miles . We drove to big lots in greenville which is 7.8 miles one way, and drove back home. So add another 7.8 miles. Then drove 1.9 miles to return. That totals 73.5 miles. We paid for 65. We were only over by 8.5 miles over but we're charged for being over 60 miles. There was no way that is possible so either the initial mileage was wrong or something isn't right.

My truck was not transfer to this location when I went to pick up my truck that Saturday morning the truck reserved was at a place that was not even open on Saturday nobody transferred my truck to my location

To Whom It May Concern: I am very disappointed in my U-Haul drop off experience.  I rented the 15 foot truck on Saturday morning 01/23/21 in Bluffton, SC and moved my Mother-In-Law to Greenwood, SC that day.  We got done with the truck early so I returned it that day at 7:45 pm.  The attendant was there but was unable to check the truck in at U-HAUL Moving and Storage of Greenwood, 254 Bypass 72 NW, Greenwood, SC  29649 because the store closed at 7 pm and the computers were shut down.  He also explained that the only reason he was there was that he was waiting for the manager to close-up.  So, I showed him where the truck was and he said to drop the key in the drop box, which I did.  I tried to use UHAUL.com/share but it told me that I had no reservations. I contacted the phone number under the Drop Off Equipment listing on 01/24/21 at 11:30 am.  The person I spoke with checked the truck in.  I had not received confirmation, so I called Monday morning (01/25/21) at 9:00 am.  The person I spoke with said the truck had not been checked in and that it should be soon.  I called again at 1:00 pm and the person said that it had not been checked in but that she would have the manager call me.  At 5:00 pm I had not heard from the manager so I called the 1-800-GO UHAUL phone number and they gave me the phone number to call the local dispatcher.  The person I spoke to at that number gave me another phone number: 864-229-7970 that was supposed to be the local number and when I called that number, the phone rang then gave a beep and then a dial tone.  So I called the phone number on the Drop Off Equipment again.  The person called the location while placing me on hold.  He said that he spoke with the manager and I should see a receipt shortly.   The confirmation of check-in I received by e-mail was at 3:21 am on Tuesday (01/26/21) with the return of the truck dated 1/25/21 at 3:19 and I WAS CHARGED $57.78 late fee! I would like to have that charge reversed/refunded, since I returned the truck on the same day that I picked it up.  Thank you for your time. John Beverung352-215-5564jbeverungnew@gmail.com

This location was nice the only thing that happened was part of my crazy weekend move. They cleaned and parked my truck without checking it in. So the next day I had not received my receipt and called and did t get anyone at the location to verify so I had to take yet again very important busy time to go to store before they closed to get my truck checked in and receipt. Mistakes happen, but this ended up being the topping to my tiring move from Georgia. And I was really frustrated

I was completely dissatisfied with the central customer service team. The centralized number is the worst. The only thing they did was get me in touch with Chris at the Greenwood warehouse. Chris made everything right. The central number needs to leave customer service to the location handling the uboxes. Thank you Chris...outstanding customer service!

Got stuck on wet grass in yard. Spent nearly 45 minutes before even talking to someone from u-haul, to find out it isn't covered by roadside assistance. It not being covered isn't what was irritating, it was the fact that I could have used that time to find alternate solutions. Truck ran great. Dolly and moving blankets could be stored differently as they were in the way a lot.

Be more instructive. Walk the customer through the process. My experience lacked it. Not enough info. My experience was horrible. The address was a reslty place. Had no clue as to what , how n where to leave the truck nor keys. Place was closed in a deserted/dark area. My movers and I were irritated because we had to call n wait in this remote area to change truck drop off.

This is an impressive location. It is very large with indoor And outdoor storage. Every time I've been there is always just one person working. They are doing all they can but just can't keep up with the amount of customers. There is usually several people waiting' and I've always had to wait for service sometimes 20 minutes or more. The service is usually very good just a long wait. They really could use some help.

Unfortunately my 8:30 pick up time wound up being closer to 11. The manager who came back from Anderson to open the store did a fantastic job of keeping his cool and helping everyone who had been waiting since 7.

I had an appointment for 9:00. The manager didn't show up until 9:20. The door was open so we let ourselves in to an empty building. I had workers I was paying, so this was a problem. He was in no rush to help. He didn't sanitize the key pad, stylus, or wear a mask. The inner gasket on the door of the truck fell off. He said not to worry, it happened all the time. The truck was filthy. I have pictures if you would like. I have rented trucks from you for the past year and this was by far my worst experience ever. will NEVER use this U-Haul location again.

I attempted to return the truck on line and was u able to do so. I was forced to drive 4 miles back to my home and 4 miles back to the store the next day. Each mile I was charged money for. It is ridiculous that I was charged money for Uhaul's error. When I arrived the next day the man working told me that he could not help me with my issue. I would need a manager to help me. I asked for the manager and he informed me that they don't work on Sunday's. In the end I found the whole experience frustrating and only about $15 cheaper than the competitors. Next time I will pay the $15 for better customer service.
