Why would I be charged extra for my return I return the truck at 745 am my son and grandson with me the person checking didn't get authorization to debit my card and u charge me 6.95 when I put extra gas in the vehicle horrible service the person had several people in there can't do his job faster enough to check things out no personality at all .SHELEEN S.

She was very helpful and friendly. Only complaint was the milage didn't add up. We rented from greenwood and drove to address in Greenville 29617this is only 56 miles . We drove to big lots in greenville which is 7.8 miles one way, and drove back home. So add another 7.8 miles. Then drove 1.9 miles to return. That totals 73.5 miles. We paid for 65. We were only over by 8.5 miles over but we're charged for being over 60 miles. There was no way that is possible so either the initial mileage was wrong or something isn't right.LAUREN G.
My truck was not transfer to this location when I went to pick up my truck that Saturday morning the truck reserved was at a place that was not even open on Saturday nobody transferred my truck to my locationMICHAEL G.
To Whom It May Concern: I am very disappointed in my U-Haul drop off experience.Â I rented the 15 foot truck on Saturday morning 01/23/21 in Bluffton, SC and moved my Mother-In-Law to Greenwood, SC that day.Â We got done with the truck early so I returned it that day at 7:45 pm.Â The attendant was there but was unable to check the truck in at U-HAUL Moving and Storage of Greenwood, 254 Bypass 72 NW, Greenwood, SCÂ 29649 because the store closed at 7 pm and the computers were shut down.Â He also explained that the only reason he was there was that he was waiting for the manager to close-up.Â So, I showed him where the truck was and he said to drop the key in the drop box, which I did.Â I tried to use UHAUL.com/share but it told me that I had no reservations. I contacted the phone number under the Drop Off Equipment listing on 01/24/21 at 11:30 am.Â The person I spoke with checked the truck in.Â I had not received confirmation, so I called Monday morning (01/25/21) at 9:00 am.Â TheÂ person I spoke with said theÂ truck had not been checked in and that it should be soon.Â I called again at 1:00 pm and the person said that it had not been checked in but that she would have the manager call me.Â At 5:00 pm I had not heard from the manager so I called the 1-800-GO UHAUL phone number and they gave me the phone number to call the local dispatcher.Â The person I spoke to at that number gave me another phone number: 864-229-7970 that was supposed to be the local number and when I called that number, the phone rang then gave a beep and then a dial tone.Â So I called the phone number on the Drop Off Equipment again.Â The person called the location while placing me on hold.Â He said that he spoke with the manager and I should see a receipt shortly.Â Â The confirmation of check-in I received by e-mail was at 3:21 am on Tuesday (01/26/21) with the return of the truck dated 1/25/21 at 3:19 and I WAS CHARGED $57.78 late fee! I would like to have that charge reversed/refunded, since I returned the truck on the same day that I picked it up.Â Thank you for your time. John Beverung352email@example.comJohn B.
This location was nice the only thing that happened was part of my crazy weekend move. They cleaned and parked my truck without checking it in. So the next day I had not received my receipt and called and did t get anyone at the location to verify so I had to take yet again very important busy time to go to store before they closed to get my truck checked in and receipt. Mistakes happen, but this ended up being the topping to my tiring move from Georgia. And I was really frustratedSHUNTAY G.
