The truck I rented was full of ROACHES. My clothes and belongings were crawling with bugs. I was promised a refund of half my fees but then was given on $12 bc I was told I owed for mileage to take the roach motel back to the lot. I understand rules but if you rent me a roach invested truck, I believe those rules are now voided. There was no concern for my inconvenience by the management and I can say without hesitation, I will never rent from UHAUL again and I will advise my family and friends not to either. CS is crucial in all situations but especially in situations where you rented subpar equipment to a customer that resulted in GREAT INCONVENIENCE to them.

Was not connected properly, contract unexplained and our lives was in danger 250 miles plus...the drop off place (Sunrise Auto) was very informative and nice. The customer service person I finally got a hold of was super helpful and even called me back after our call was dropped due to service which is something they do not have to do..Ron from Arkansas is the help desk...he got Roadside assistance for me which was not a good experience. Ron investigated further, called me back with different Roadside people to was extremely caring and helpful...U-haul should return my money and an apology from Hattiesburg MS. Nd as for me, I am thanking God my Father and Jesus my savior for protecting us and getting us home safely...may God Bless you all ALWAYS

I’m at a loss for words honestly iv been using U-Haul for a good part of 20 years basically since iv been behind the wheel and i have never in a million years thought I’d go threw what i went threw with U-Haul over the last few days iv tried to contact customer service and have yet to get a return email or phone cal. From the second i walked in the door i was mistreated and disrespected to the tune of them not allowing me to rent because of the Visa card i had threw square then when i tried to use another card they told me no your cards won’t work here this is after i used that same card to reserve the reservation online and paid to get an Uber to the location so since they would not allow my rental i ubered back home got on line and was able to rent and pay and do a pickup without dealing with the employees and i used the card they said would not work so back to get the truck at 1pn at this pointorig pick up was supposed to be 10am but due the them denying my service it cost me half a day i had orig wanted it till like midnight but that evening i realized i May as well just get it for another day so i called the guy on the phone said the rentals are 24 hours so i could just bring it back the following day no prob and if i need longer just call we’ll i called the following day and requested 1 more day again they said not a problem then the day of return i was running a little late and they called i said I’m at the fuel station and will be there in a jiffy upon arrival the guy said i did not clean the bed of the truck and they would have to charge me a cleaning fee or i could go clean it out i said well as long as that’s ok and i wont xtra charger for it being any later he said he was taking care of my late charges and not to worry so i rallied and went clean it extra good and returned and sat and waited an additional 25 min befor being helped this time at which i was informed i would be getting charged for an additional days rental Un believable of course i was like um you just told me you were taking care of that he then said we have to go inside so we did at where got him to remove itfinally but this girl who was in there like mean mugging me finally quit staring and left into the back and in no more the 20 seconds later saying “NO CHARGE HIM INFACT WERE CHARGING YOU WITH A CIGARETTE FEE, i was like huh i don’t even smoke she said well you have to pay i asked how much and when she told me 200 and some odd dollars my jaw dropped She was determined to ruin my day one way or another and instead of blowing up i decided I’d just walk out and take it up with customer service of course i put an instant freeze on my card for any transactions from U-Haul and called my attorny since i know i did not do anything wrong i know i will get it cleared up but what kinda crap is that the truck smelled same as it did when i picked it up like crappy cheap perfume .. furthermore she said the 200 was to clean it before it can be rented again and while i was in th

Something went terribly wrong this time around. Normally we have no problems with Uhaul, but this time, not so much. First, they didn't have the right size truck reserved, though I had reserved it 10 days earlier when I dropped off the TWO rentals. Then an hour after I picked up the rental, I received a text saying it was due back in 7 hours. The next morning I get a call asking when I planned on returning the truck, where I explained that I had only had it for 12 hours. Finally, after a loooonnnnngggg day of moving, I return the rental, only to be told that there would be extra charges due to the fact that I didn't return it at 2 a.m., to a location that is not open at 2 a.m. to have rented it. AGAIN, I have to explain. Not my best experience with Uhaul.

The receptionist was rude with an attitude. She even stated that she didn’t care about the concerns of the customer. “ I just over look them.” The gentleman on duty with her was rude also. He threw the 1 month storage voucher to me. Neither volunteered to give me the voucher. I had to ask for it. They even had a little confrontation about codes. I noticed that I received a different greeting from the customer following me. This customer was greeted with a smile and pleasant voice tones. It was too obvious!!!! To improve: Customer Service- being helpful and courteous to every customer.

They had our order all messed up then when we finally got our truck the rearend was going out and no a/c. They had us call roadside assistance and then after calling them told us to come to the store and they would take care of us We went to the store again and they could not give us a 26ft truck as we ordered but they had one there but it could only be used locally. The gentleman admitted he knew there were problems with the truck they rented us. So, okay they could only give us a 20 ft instead of a 26 ft. but I asked them to let roadside know we were taken care of and they did not the serviceman showed up about 9:00 I think, then we drove the truck and had no a/c for over half the trip and the engine sounded awful. We just held our breath we would make it to PA . Such a miserable trip!! We are looking to move again in about a year but U-Haul has really let us down this time!!!!

Everything was good at pick up until I returned truck the guy was rude ,seem like he didn't want to be there.i asked about the price and why it had went up ,no problem with paying just wanted details and it seems like that was a problem for him .he seem to be in a rush ,not friendly at all, he seemed frustrated he was a total ASS!!! Next time I need to drop off I will be sure it's not with him or at night ..The morning crew at pick up was great and for that reason I will come back again but rated average due to drop off

We arrived and were told a different price from the quote online. I didn't have enough on one card, so I asked to use 2 forms of payment. I was told they could not do that. I had to go to my bank, in a different town and make a deposit, then call my credit card company and asked to post the payment. They had to call my bank with me on the phone and verify the payment. We then had to drive back to UHaul to pick up the truck. She told us nothing about the truck and it was almost on empty, so the first thing we had to do was stop for gas. We arrived to pick up our belongings 3 hours later than planned to find the furniture pads and appliance dolly were not in the truck. The manger called later and said my account would be credited and it never was. We were able to get what we needed from Storage Choice in Petal, MS. About half way to our destination, the service engine light came on. I called UHaul and was told if the truck was acting okay, it was probably time for service. So, we were given a truck that was close to service time for a trip that was over 900 miles. Our pick up location was not the one we chose and was out of our way, costing us time and money. We spent a lot of money with UHaul and expected better service. Our drop off experience in Waukee, IA was great. I would never recommend anyone to go to the Broadway Drive location. They are rude, sloppy and have no idea what they are doing.

The lot was packed full with U-Haul equipment, so had to drop the trailer in the back next to the storage units and a car dolly. Received 2 calls saying I never dropped it off and that they checked cameras- which was a lie. I had to explain in tiny detail for the 3rd time on the phone where I dropped it, when, and why. I do not like being accused of lying or being a thief. Employees shouldn’t be so lazy and actually go look and check their drop box for the paperwork so they actually know what they’re looking for.

The store on 918 Broadway was awesome - I was in and out in under 10 minutes. I started my day however at a U-Haul location at 1303 West 7th St.. Dylan did most of the work helping me, and he had a guy named Shod that was assisting. Shod broke the first car hauler by winding the gear handle too hard. The second trailer looked smaller, but no one knew for sure. While we waited to unload the first trailer, Shod fired up a cigarette. It was extremely unprofessional and not I imagine the way U-Haul wants to be represented. A very poor experience. Fortunately Raven over at the Broadway location was on top of her game.

Do not charge for extended rental.rented for one day but had to extended for three more days because of rain i think i paid additional fee . if you get three more days of rental than you made more money and the van i had was not in demand there three others sitting out there.

What I ordered online was not available in the store. I only had one dollies but I requested 4. The moving company uhaul advertised that I used was garbage trash and the mover never showed up. Horrible experience!
