Nothing. I was shocked by how many miles I drove. But there were a lot of accidents and construction that I had to go around. I will be using you in the future. You guys did a great job. Renting from uhaul was the easiest part of my day.

Rude staff. Pulled around back and looked for someone to help me load. couldnt find anyone for over 15 minutes. The guy that helped was very nice. He seemed very over whelemed. By the time I found him and got hooked up there were several other people in lline waiting and only him to help them. All while one of them women inside played on her phone. (The other woman was on the phone about a problem another customer was having)

Was not impressed by Amanda or her "co-worker" I arrived just after 8AM, seems she was still opeing the store. Waited for her to do so. Whole time we set up agreement, Amanda was answering question from co-worker - Agreement stated 1/2 tank gas, was not correct, it was between 3/8 and 1/2. I had to take a pic and reenter store. I estomated driving 170 miles. I ended up driving 168 miles. I returned the truck with a solid to over 1/2 tank and was still charged another $4.70 cents. I thought i shouled have been given a credit of $1.58. On two occassions I tried to call the "store" thought I may have left my sungleaases. It both cases was not possible to do so. Even with a local number. Not good CS. Your a big company and run things veru efficiently for you and your busioness. Not very good for customer interactions and satisifaction.

I was charged twice for wrapping paper. And then I was called a few days after I had returned the rental, and left a Voice message that if I did not return the truck it will be reported stolen and I would be charged additional days. I had already returned the truck a few days prior. Not sure what the miss understanding was, but that phone call was unacceptable since I had already rented the rental truck. I was not pleased. I feel that before calling a customer, uhual should check their inventory to make sure the truck was actually returned.

I attempted to perform mobile pick up so i did not have to wait in the excruciating slow line inside that the employees seemed to not care about. I did the mobile pick up per instructions on my phone until the keybox that was EMPTY!!! In the rain I had to walk inside, wait 20 minutes, and finally get the piece of shit truck. The truck oil pressure light comes on during accelerating and the pressure would drop to zero. Not that I care because its not my truck but I am sure uhaul would try to screw me over somehow if it did seize the engine. Needless to say, I will never use this shit hole location with uncaring slow employees that would dont even attempt to give the appearance of giving a shit.

The uhaul guy took my 4flat adapter my last visit, this guy was nice and gave me one. Same location 2 days apart. Afterall I did pay almost 13 bucks for it. This same location the guy I returned to told me to go grab a broom, I responded no, because this gravel and dirt in the trailer was there when I rented this 6x12 utility trailer! They also charged me for a 6x12 with a ramp when that's not what they had to give me, even tho thats what I reserved! This place needs help! I try to avoid this location but apparently nobody else has these trailers!

The person at the counter named Dyamond was so confusing. She kept looking at her phone and reading texts messages mid conversation. She also wasn’t speaking clearly at all and I had to beg her repeatedly to speak up. She didn’t seem to care if I knew anything about what to do and didn’t show me which uhaul to take or anything. She made me feel like I was dumb asking all the necessary questions but had no desire to help.

I had issues with the pick-up (community associate) and the staff at this location were incredibly helpful. Took the time to listen to concerns and made sure I was well informed with my options to voice my opinion further. Also very prompt with the drop off. Much appreciated.

After my experience, I would recommend AGAINST U-haul. I had a truck reserved at a location for 8am. U-Haul suddenly changed my reservation to 6pm at a different location. When I called about it, they said there was nothing that could be done it was a busy weekend. Well, that’s not my problem considering I had reserved the truck weeks in advance. They ended up moving it up to 2:15pm but that was still not the time I had reserved it for. (I had reserved it WEEKS in advance for 8am). When I arrived to pick my truck up at 2:15pm, I was informed that the truck I was supposed to get was infested with roaches and I would be downgraded to a 10ft truck instead of what I had originally RESERVED (15 ft truck). I was unable to get all of my stuff in one trip as originally planned. Due to scheduling conflicts, I will have to go back and move the other stuff at a later date. And to top it all off, the drop off location was marked incorrectly in google maps and I had trouble finding that as it was also not marked clearly. To say I am MAD and DISGUSTED with my experience is an understatement. I have used U-Haul before and never had any problems. But I can promise, I will recruit against it from now on. Also, your customer service sucks. You call to talk to someone and you are on hold >20 minutes every time you call. Absurd and ridiculous. Never will I use U-Haul again.

I wasn’t given all of the correct information and was charged for 2 moving periods worth of time when returning the U-Haul after hours. When I reported that there was confusion I was told I’d receive a phone call within 48 hours and it’s now been 5 days. The people at the location are very nice, but I wasn’t able to have a conversation with them

I had the unfortunate need of renting a trailer and once again the only place that had one available was this location. It is truly a miserable experience dealing with the staff here...my 4th or 5th time doing so and only because no other Uhaul facility in town has equipment available. On this trip I had hoped that by fully completing the online express check-in I might save myself some time and interaction with the staff but sadly no. There was one person in front of me who unfortunately had not completed any paperwork in advance and was constantly being berated by the sour customer service rep working the desk that acts like we've come to her home and interrupted her dinner. Thankfully I never saw the general manager/owner (Mr. Washington I think) as its clear from his demeanor and attitude where the rest of the workers get their attitudes. I arrived at 5pm to get my trailer and finally was able to pull away from the lot and on my way around 6pm...pretty standard for these guys. Of course they still started the clock on my 6 hour rental at 5pm when I checked in online although I was never waited on until 5:30 and of course it took 30 minutes of clickety-click on the keyboard before I could get my equipment...so much for the express online check in feature saving time even with a credit card entered. Oh well...hopefully it will be at least another 3-4 years before I have to use their service again...maybe another franchise will open up.

My UHAUL experience was absolutely horrible. The day before my move, someone called me and told me they were switching my picking up location and the size of my truck. Then that afternoon someone emailed me and told me they didn't have a truck for me at "this location" but didn't tell me which location that was, so I didn't know if it was the original location or the new location. That lady "Tabitha" from Winchester never replied to me. I called the original guy like 20 times, left a message, and texted him. No response to any of it. Spend 30 min on the phone with the UHAUL 800 number, get switched to 3 different people, then they tell me they have NO trucks in Lexington and I would have to drive 30 min to get one. Then finally gave me a 26 ft truck in Lexington when I requested a 10 ft truck. worst experience ever. I will NEVER use UHaul again and I am telling my friends and family not to use you as well.

I reserved an appliance dolly, but when I arrived at the location, they did not have any. It was explained to me that the website does not gauge availability of dollies during the reservation process, or make any attempt to reserve them. This dolly was the main reason I rented the trailer in the first place. You should consider updating the website in this regard.

Chase at this location was the sole redemption of my first uhaul experience. He offered impeccable customer service, immediately saw that all of my needs were met, and was present, professional, courteous and informative at every turn during our time at his store. Had it not been for his attentiveness, I was ready to abandon hope of ever using a uhaul facility again based on my initial pickup disappointment. Chase was a blessing in the midst of an otherwise chaotic experience, and I would highly recommend usage of his store in particular again.

I rented a 15' box truck on May 3rd, Didnt have to return in until May 6th. My total for one way trip was 114$, that I paid on the 3rd. I returned it on May 5th. Picked it up with 1/4 tank, returned on 1/4 tank. The man inside was extremely RUDE! Didnt check me out, didnt inspect the truck. Told me to just leave it with the keys in it. And i was good to go. About an hour later they charged MY bank card for $141$. Charged me for a full tank of gas as well as an extra day. I will NEVER use U-HAIL'S service ever again! Do NOT go here! They obviously don't read the rental agreements.

I was a little confused about the steps of returning the truck. I didn’t know I needed a picture of the odometer to check the truck back in before I returned the keys. But it was also my first time using uhaul so that is also partially my bad as I was unfamiliar with the service procedures. Otherwise, it was great & easy! Great customer service.

I rented a 26' truck and a cargo van last weekend. No problem with the truck or charges for the truck. I brought the van back and misread the fuel meter when I put gas back in it. The gentleman at Uhaul asked me if I would want to go put 2 more gallons in the truck to bring it back up to where it needed to be or they could do it for $4 per gallon. I decided to just let them do it for $4 per gallon since it was only 2 gallons low and it was during rush hour traffic. I was charge the $8 for the fuel and an additional $30 fuel fill up fee!!! Which I was not told I would be charged. So I was charged $38 for 2 gallons of gas!!!! This is ridiculous and I definitely feel taken advantage of and think I should be refunded the $30 fuel fill up fee.

The part received to install the hitch was the wrong size. Maybe better clerical work will help provide a smoother process. If I had reserved a larger trailer I wouldn’t have been able to use the part received.

I felt rushed out... Had requested a furniture dolly because i was moving by myself, the clerk did not get a dolly as she got the truck. the clerk marked the wrong fuel information on the paperwork when i mentioned it she told me it was up to me to dispute it and i should take pictures. This was all before i got the truck off the lot... She walked away and said have it back in 6 hours without even telling me return procedures other than pull it around back. I was in a time crunch and had to go get started. So I took pictures and left all the while feeling like i was taken advantage of. I have used Uhaul many times in the past, i will no longer be a customer or advocate to recommend business for them.

Amanda was both courteous and friendly. My only suggestion would be to route incoming calls to a representative who is not preparing leasing contracts. Amanda was continually answering the phone as she tried to get me out the door. This slowed the process quite a bit as I waited while Amanda processed leases and took incoming calls.

You have no check list for the Staff on the phone when using your national help number. I highly suggest you update your records as these folks could find no 24 hour drop off in Lexington KY which there is (we now know).

Please identify which of the following was taking place this past weekend, 03/30 - 04/01, regional management vs 1200 New Circle Rd location: (1) odd series of scheduling mishaps; (2) double-booking of rental trucks; (3) negligence in customer service; (4) wild incompetence. I’ve experienced reservation errors / equipment mix-ups before, but nothing like what happened during the mentioned period.

I called several times for 2 days to try to change my scheduled pickup time (because I knew I couldn't arrive at the scheduled time). Not only did I never receive an answer to the multiple phone calls, but once I arrived, my scheduled truck had been given to another customer because I wasn't there at 9:00am. It was about 9:30am when I arrived. When I explained that I'd been calling for 2 days and never got an answer I was told by the associate "yeah, we don't usually answer ther phones around here. You should've stayed on the calls longer for a wait and customer service should've picked up the call." I was shocked. The associate did offer a different, larger truck at the same rate but only AFTER I was stern and insistent that they find me a truck (as it wasn't my fault that the phone's don't get answered). I was frustrated that the problem was only corrected due to me not backing down and also that I had to drive a way later truck than I'd reserved across the state (which I wasn't comfortable driving) and I had to spend a lot more on gas (because of the larger truck size)

When returning our rental through truck share, the app closed out and we were unable to get the location where to drop the key. There were codes on the key return box and we had no idea what the code was. The whole return process was a waste of my day. We sit at the location 35 minutes waiting on a U-Haul rep to answer the phone and give us further instructions. On top of that, it was pouring the rain, thunder and lightning and we had to get out and take photos of the U-Haul. Cell phone service was not the issue as I had LTE and 4 bars. The app is horrible, the wait time for customer service is way too long and combination codes to return keys is probably the worst idea I’ve seen. Overall one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a rental company.

The cab of the truck had dog hair all over it. The truck was virtually out of gas. They did give me a discount. I was glad the speedway gas station was right accross the street. Although I was stupid enough to fill the tank at that point so I ended up returning it with more than 3/4 tank,instead of the 1/4 that was required, but that was my mistake.

We had to wait for a while because an employee did not check in our truck from the day before, therefore our customer service rep had to call the previous renter while we waited. Finally, after an employee located the truck keys that were misplaced, and actually saw the truck in the yard, we were able to get it taken care of. We waited longer than expected and were on a tight schedule.

Be honest about when the hitch installation will be ready. The clerk said it would take two to two and a half hours, so I left. I picked up the SUV from the mechanic and he said if he had known I was waiting it would have taken less than an hour. As it was, I had to get a ride back to work and another ride to pick up the vehicle instead of spending my lunch hour at a nearby restaurant as planned.

As I was standing next to the vehicle I reserved completing the smart phone check-in, an employee walked past me, got in it and drove away. I told him that I was checking in and was a foot from the driver's door and he still took it. It was the only vehicle of the size that I had reserved. There were two other employees inside who were willing to help but I had to point out that I had to get to my pick-up place before it closed before it occurred to one to offer another vehicle instead of hoping the other guy came back quickly. In the end I had to drive a much bigger substitute vehicle that I was not comfortable in.

The lady at the desk was super rude when we brought the truck back. She didn't say thanks, have a good day she didn't say a word to me when she handed me my receipt, she just turned her back literally. She had purple hair and long pointy nails which I thought was super unprofessional. Over all a horrible attitude for no reason and NO customer service skills.
