When he got there the associate said he needed a credit card or debit card. My friend called me to put it on my debit card so he had to wait for our before I arrived. Once I got there she said you can put down a deposit of $100. No one told him that at the beginning, time wasted. Then the computer didn't work so we didn't have any paperwork. It was just a unprofessional performance.TERRY N.

The local location is excellent to work with. This comment is more for national. I tried to use the website for touchless pickup. It seemed like it was going to work well. Got a text the day before asking me to save time by taking pictures of my drivers license ahead of time, which I did. When I arrived, I went into the website and it did not have my drivers license, so I took a picture of that, then it said I needed my passport information. Of course, I did not have so I ended up going into the store after sitting in the parking lot for 5 minutes trying to "avoid the lines" and "save time". You should tell people what you need ahead of time and not have a long process once you get to the lot. Also, not sure why a passport would be needed since it wasnt when I picked up in store (which was a quick process).Doug M.
My son accidentally overfilled the gas tank on rental. Only needed a few dollars but spent $54. Asked about a refund of some sort but the guy said "No, that's how they get you." Also asked inside person and she basically said oh well, can't do it. When I seen the final bill the tank reading shoed less than full but when I turned the truck in it was completely past full. Not sure what you all are hoping to accomplish but likely won't use you again. Sounds like the outside guy was right.RONALD L.
warning light came on during the use of the truck. Upon return went in to informed of the issue. Someone walked and said I did not have to do anything just park the truck and leave. So I did not get the opportunity to pass the ifo along. The man was rude!REID B.

AC did not work in truck - needs to be repaired. Battery light came on and off and needs to be checked. The truck was clean and the location and service was good.MICHAEL T.
Customer service was AMAZING!! The only improvement i can think of is having a quicker pickup. The line was long right when the store opened, so from the time I arrived to the time I drove off the lot, about 40 minutes had passedCATRINA T.

Let the customer know if the place they chose for pick up (AND TIME) WON'T be available a LITTLE sooner than the reservation time so they can plan accordingly! Why even bother to let the customer choose the time and place and U-Haul changes it at the last minute. And the dumb broad i talked to on the phone right at 10am gave zero shits and didn't try to console me AT ALL. Garbage. I'm never using U-Haul again. I move around a lot for work and never had this problem before. It's Penske for me.SALLY H.
i was charged for mileage due to being given a smaller truck. i requested a 26 foot truck and was given a 15 foot truck which made for multiple trips to move my house. this resulted in my mileage being higher and costing me more. My truck was not available which was guaranteed. i was told by representative that they would take care of my mileage and i would get my $50 reservation guarantee returned and none of that happened. horrible experience to be told the night before a BIG move. very disappointed.DAVID R.
I changed my drop off location from Georgetown to this company owned location so that I could drop the trailer off a day early on Memorial Day. Appreciate that I was allowed to do so however the phone call to get it switched took a while to get through - on hold for over 10mins. Being a holiday, I guess it was to be expected. The two counter workers were not able to answer many questions concerning weight capacities of the trucks or dollies. They both acted like I was out of place when I walked in, weren't very welcoming. The truck I rented had â€œlow coolantâ€ and was vulnerable to overheating. I had to add coolant taking time away from my move.JAMES H.
