Let me know ahead of time when something is wrong with the equipment I'm getting instead of telling me the day of. When I got to this location, the wiring harness was stolen from the trailer, so I had to go to a different location to get it. I was moving down the east coast the next day and was on a schedule. The agent at pick-up and drop-off was awesome. He was fast, knowledgeable and friendly! I was in and out of the store within 5 minutes. Drop-off was quick and easy with the gentleman as well! He gets 2 thumbs up! The truck needed to be swept out when I got it back to my house. It also seemed like the truck needed an alignment because the drive wasn't smooth at all. The experience picking up was nice. He was very helpful and pleasant. However, the vehicle was disgusting. I had to wipe the entire vehicle down and it was filthy. It felt terribly unsafe driving it. I was disappointed in the overall vehicle experience.MICHAEL D.

The contract states that a 20 $charge will be applied if after-hours return is not completed online.However, there is no ATT cellular coverage at this location, so I could not complete the online return. I was not charged the 20 $but the contract should not indicate the 20 $fee if online return is not possible.John M.
I had everything set up online before I went to the location so all I had to do was pick up the truck. I get there the guy said I just want to confirm that I want coverage which I already selected the 15 $coverage . I bring the truck back and it says coverage 28 $. He upgraded my coverage when I already selected which one I wanted . I did go over the miles by 5 miles. So I understand the charge there but I was also charged a rental charge which on my paper said 19,95 . But again when I returned the vehicle my receipt said 39,9 . I was overcharged because they upgraded when I already selected my coverage . Not sure why I was also charged 39,9 when I paid 19,95 for rental rate. Ridiculous. Went from 176 to 218 when I returned the truck.Evvie B.

My reservation was changed the day before via text message because of lack of trucks at my original place of pick up. I made the reservation a month prior. When picking the truck up at the new location, they did not have the equipment that had been ordered at the time of the reservation placement, again made a month ago. It was raining all day which then led me to discover that the truck was leaking. All of my belongings had to be covered in a tarp so that they would not get ruined by the leaking rain water. I tried calling uhaul multiple times and no one ever answered the phone, I tried for over 45 minutes each time. Overall I was very dissatisfied with my uhaul experience and will not be using this company again.KRISTINA M.

Kudos to Danielle for her customer service skills; ease in maneuvering large trucks and fork lifts (made it look easy!!). She was really terrific. Called when she said she was coming; called again to say she was running a little late and was so efficient in her handling of customers and their concerns. She deserves a raise. NOT so happy with the website that kept repeating (Simply sign into uhaul.com ; fill in your name and reservation # and make changes quickly and easily. NOT. Could not see anywhere on the website to do this simple task. Called the 800 number and the one in Methuen to be placed on hold at least 3 times for 30 minutes (finally hung up!) and then after ONE HOUR on hold I spoke to a real person. I believe his name was Kyle, who got an earful but handled my call well by apologizing, etc. Also talked with Stacey who was sympathetic to my needs and quickly resolved my dilemma. I simply wanted my filled UBOX to be picked up ahead of my original schedule, which it was by your stellar employee, Danielle!!Judy K.

I would recommend that you require all vehicles to have a full tank of fuel at pick up. Mine was less then 1/4 tank. If your customers bring back a truck with less then full then they should be charged a large premium for having to have the truck topped off.FRANK G.

The location it great. The customer service is great. And the employees are great, helpful and understanding. What is not ok is the phone center and your app. As well as your employees when calling the centers are not as nice helpful or understanding.. the way you process some of your rental and payments is awful and there is always an issue due to the way u haul processes these things. It's as if the communication between dealer and corporate is never on the same page. Therefore it takes over in hour to figure out the problem and fix before you can finally finish the original rental process.. No one answers the phone. I called 2 times both times. I waited for a half hour then hung up finally I called and someone answered. I went to pick up truck. There was nobody at the desk. I yelled is anyone here. Finally someone came in. I got the truck then I had to get something out of my storage unit. My access card didn't work. I went back in the store for help nobody was there. I went out back of the store and the worker was in a car with a girl. I had to knock on the window to get his attention.PATRICK B.
The customer service was terrible and inefficient, the truck that the customer service gave me was in the middle of the other cars that i needed to wait for them to move everything to finally give me the truck. The driver door don't even close at all, while driving I need to keep a hand on the door because in anytime this door could open and just to finish the truck was having 2 miles of gas. Right away from the location I need it to take the truck to pump gas. Money that I haven't received back. Worst service in the methuen plaza, when I drop the vehicle off the customer service wasn't there I had to wait until he wanted to show up to give him the key and tell about the gas. Worst service !!!! Don't recommend it to anyoneGerman D.

I dropped off my trailer. Was met outside by employee named Daniel I believe. He could lift the trailer off of the hitch. Me and my son had to do it. Then asked if I was all set or had to go in and sign anything. He told me I was all set. Then left. Dropped unit after 2 day rental. This was on Sunday. Starting getting calls and emails on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday inquiring as to where the unit was. They said had no record of it and now missing. Finally after showing up on Wednesday they said they would advise there manager and look further Into it. Poor communication amongst employees.JAMES D.

I had reserved a truck, but still had to wait 30 minutes in line. There was only 1 person at the counter. Truck had low tire pressure, driver door did not fully close. I never received an email receipt with final charges even after I called and asked for it.PHILIP W.

The location is very nice and clean, but I paid to have uhaul do the unhooking of the car dolly, but the person there employee did not know how to. Then I was there over two hours. The employee jumped to another customers before finishing with me. In all I would have to say was a nightmare of morning. The only issue I had was returning the truck after hours. The process should be easier. The website could not find my location from my phone and I tried for half an hour, so it wouldn't let me finish the process. Finally, I called customer service. I picked up the unit in Methuen. The people were nice and helped me attach the trailer. I neglected to double check to see if I received the blankets I ordered and found when I got home there were none. In addition the locking mechanism on the door was missing a screw in the bottom mount and the 2nd screw was almost falling off. This was a very visible problem when I opened the door since the door would not close without manually putting the mount back in place. Not sure how this could have been missed if/when the unit was checked out before renting to me.Daniel N.
