The truck is a piece of yuck. The battery died and it was dark in Stone Mountain Park ( was doing an antique show) The driver seat does not move up unless you get out and shove it up. Every singke inch ciunts and by leaving the UNRENTED blankets and dolly in there caused alot of problems loading .

We had an accident on the way from Nevada to Georgia. The staff in this office would not work with my State Farm Insurance Company at all. Did not call back when they said they would...they had to do it their way and they did. Charged my card when I asked them not to because State Farm would pay for this claim. Complicated my life. At the end, State Farm took care of everything because they are THE BEST...I won't be using Uhaul again after this very unpleasant experience. Make sure you check your insurance company before you rent and make sure you understand all the different levels of insurance Uhaul offers...it has nothing to do with insurance, here, it has to do entirely with how staff handled this in this office. In my business, the customer comes first...we did not in this instance at all.

So mant issues with this experience. I arrived at my original reservation location before the time, 7am, but discovered that the location didn't even open for another 2 hours and I couldn't even pick up my "one way" truck at the time I needed it cuz I had no key or anything. Called uhaul and the location (they didn't answer the were closed) and uhaul said it wasn't their issue but they would honor their guarantee. They told me I had to now go to another location. I drove an extra 20 minutes away then I had to wait an extra 25 mins while she cleaned the equipment before giving me the truck. This is the location reviewed. Most infuriatingly, is I was charged an additional $19.50 added for "ez gas"!!!! Uhaul was saying I never matched the tank. They should know based on that stupid rubric printed on the receipt or contract it's near impossible to guess how much to fill the gas tank to make sure it is the exact amount as when I took it as the rubric or meter you get looks completely different then the meter in the truck itself. I tried the best I could and put $10 or 4 gallons into it to get it where I eyeballed it near what the gauge on the contacted wanted me to put in.

Customer was very poor. The woman who runs it gets overly stressed and overwhelmed with even a person or two in line. She spoke very rudely to me start and made it a point to be sarcastic and argumentative.

FELT A LITTLE SLIGHTED, I OVER GASSED THE REFILL OF TANK, BY 3 TO 4 DOLLARS... BUT WENT 1 MILE OVER AND CHARGED THE $0.79/MILE SO, WHATEVER...GET EVERY PENNY RIGHT ???

Their customer service is not up to par. The younger African American desk clerk was friendly but very slow. The older Caucasian woman had the worst attitude and was overall a bad experience to come in contact with.

I went in first and spoke with the representative. I told her I wanted to rent a 10' truck never did she mention that I couldn't rent it threw the 24/7 option. So I get it at this location at 9pm and waited on the phone with customer service 30 minutes before I spoke with someone. Just ridiculous. Then she told me I needed to get a 15' truck because that's all they rent at this location with the 24/7 option. Just very frustrating and wasted money and time.

I had reserved a van several days before and came in at the time indicated to pick it up. In the store, the staff member and a customer were standing at the counter looking at their phones. I stood around for about 10 minutes and finally said "I have a reservation and I'm here to pick it up." The staff member looked at me and said "You'll have to wait until I'm finished with this customer." I said OK and stood around for a few more minutes while they both looked at their phones. I finally got sick of standing around and told the employee that someone was waiting for me and I needed to pick up the van. She told me that it "wasn't her problem and you'll just have to wait." I thought this was very rude and I told her that all I'm seeing is you sitting behind the desk staring at your phone. She then said the system was down and she was trying to register the other customer using her phone. She told me to try to register myself on my phone. Instead, I called U Haul customer service and put them on speaker phone and told them what was going on. Suddenly the employee came up with a contingency plan to print out the paper work and have us fill it out. Why she didn't do this initially is beyond me. She was more than rude and inappropriate, she was nasty. i have rented from this UHaul location several times as i live in the neighborhood behind the center. I am now in the process of moving to another state and need to rent trucks several times, but guess what! Not renting from you anymore! Penske is much better at customer service. This young lady needs to have some training on customer service. Her attitude was disgusting, and I know she was probably stressed but to tell me my time wasn't her problem was an issue. I have also purchased a lot of moving materials at this location, but will return them. This is too bad because the manager seems very nice but this employee needs to get out of customer service. On another note, the picture of the lady with a large smile on the side of the panel van needs to be photo shopped because you can plainly see tarter and food stuck in her teeth. Kind of nauseating.

The corporate accounting was terrible. I moved from a large $600+ unit a month to a $194. per month billed for both months. Left before end of month still being billed. BIG CORPORATE PROBLEM.
