The truck felt like it was falling apart at 185,000+ miles and barely started every time. I was charged for 9 gallons of fuel that I already replaced - either their employees are not honest about the fuel gauge reading, or their truck got less than 5mpg around town, both are ridiculous.

Upon arrival to the facility, I was told that the 10*10 drive up unit I was reserved wasn't available, therefore I would have to take the 10*15 unit, which cost more money. (That should've been my sign right there that this site was going to be an issue) I was given a storage unit that evidently was being held for someone else because when I returned later that night to access my unit for the first time there was a padlock on it. Mind you I cave with a fully loaded truck that I needed to unload in order to return the truck the next morning as scheduled. I immediately called 1-800-UHaul for assistance and was told I would have to resolve the issue with the store. While on the phone with U-Haul, evidently I lost track of time, so when I attempted to use my code to exit the gate at 10:01, my access was denied and I was locked in. After trying several times to contact the after hours manager, via the number provided on the call box and her not answering, I called U-Haul back and they eventually was able to push a button to let me out. So now I have to keep the truck an additional day because this store doesn't know how to operate. So the next morning I have to call U-Haul back, explain what happened and was given a one day extension to return the truck. Now mind you, I have to go back to work this day, which means I can't do anything until after 5pm. I then called this store back to find out why I was assigned someone else's unit. The young man that answered the phone was evidently irritated because he says that he would have to go and see why there was a padlock on the unit buy it would take him a while because he was the only one working at the moment. He goes to check and confirms that there is indeed a luck on the storage (DUHHH) and that he has been trying for a while to have the lock cut off that unit. He then says that he would have that manger, Cindy, call me back regarding the entire situation. Now mind you, Cindy is the same manager whose name is on the call box to call for after hour emergencies, but she never answered when I was trapped inside the gate the night before. Anyway, the young man calls back when Cindy on the phone, who states by saying that U-Haul storage is on a first come first degree basis. BUT she storage unit I was assigned was acually being HELD for someone else since LAST THURSDAY, so the manager put a luck on the unit to hold it for this person and evldently the system had a glitch that didn't save the information, so when I was assigned the unit, it never showed the unit was taken. And the reason she wasn't able to answer her phone the night before was because she was at the Mayo Clinic with a family member. And when I told her about not being given the 10*10 unit I reserved and forced to get a bl bigger unit, she then told her employee to go and walk the lot to make sure there was no 10*10 drive up unit available. And she offered a pitiful apologize again blaming everything on the system. So because I was working I just told them to call me back after they figure it out. An hour or two later, the young man called me back to explain that the only 10*10 units available were inside units, not drive up. So I told him that wouldn't work for me, so he stated that was all he could do and said he would just cancel the entire reservation. A few hours later I check my reservation in U-Haul.com and see that it's still active. I call the store again to find out why and get another manager that evidently hasn't been told about the entire situation. So I feel him in, and while we were talking, the employee that initially assigned me the wrong unit, must've walked by, heard the conversation and recognized my name from the night before, and proceeded to tell the manager, " Now she don't want the unit, after I had to work 30 minutes over to hit it for her!?" When I tell you I saw RED!!! Si I told the manager to put the young man on the phone, which he didn't do because he knew I war going to have a few choice words for him. Anyway, the manager eventually closed out my reservation. And because of all this, U-Haul didn't have a 10*10 drive up unit no where near me, so I ended up having to reserve with Public Storage. The moral of the story is, " DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!!! "

I reserved a truck for the full day, I was a little late picking it up and received a phone call telling me that they were cancelling my reservation because I was 40 mins late for picking up my truck. I was less than a mile away and the guy hung up on me when I said I would be right there. It wasn't posed as a question of will you be here soon. He said I was too late and he was giving my truck away. I showed up and requested that I still get the truck. He finally said it was fine, but no where in the contract it says I have to be there on time. I reserved it for a full 24 hours. The truck itself had trash in it. The shocks were terrible and made terrible noises the whole drive. I would never rent from this location again, and I will do my best to not rent from uhaul again. If I reserve a truck for 24 hours and I'm 40 mins late in picking it up, that should not matter. I was proactive and reserved it ahead of time. It's not my fault there is demand. And the reason I was late should not matter.

I repeated and re-repeated my phone they still got it wrong. So when I had vehicle retune issue (even though I clarified phone again) I've never heard back. I was charged for extra gas although filled according to instructions per new attendant.

Not honest about the gas I replaced. The gas station is literally about 4 blocks away. I filed the truck but was charged for not filing it when it was above the level when the truck was rented.

Some white man that works there is so unprofessional. He got loud with me accusing me of hitting the truck which I had proof that I didn't. Furthermore the damages that he claims I did were there before I had the vehicle. Even with proof that I did no damage to the car he was still refusing to accept that he was wrong. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! I will not be coming back to this establishment ever again. That man was not trained properly at all and had no professional attitude for the job. He should not be working there like that this OUTRAGEOUS!!

I love this U-Haul location!! I've rented here on several occasions and the team is always nice, knowledgeable and they expedite services quickly and efficiently respecting the customer's time. The facility is ALWAYS neat and clean on the outside as well as the inside. Keep up the great work!! I know dealing with customers is definitely not an easy task but they do a phenomenal job.

All god, but please just have more trailers available. I had to travel 45 minutes because the location I initially picked, didnt have trailers. This a common 4x8 trailer. My location is 30004, and I have a Uhaul location 1,8 miles away

I called the day before to adjust my rental contract. To the location who was my recommended location. This location informed me that my contract/rental had been moved. News to me, no email stating that my contract had been moved locations. Not a day before nor up until the time my rental was supposed to be picked up. I went to the location my rental had been moved to. New location unprepared for me. Upset they weren't prepared but none the less made the rental happen which was 3 dozen pads. My truck that I had initially rented was still on the contract which I was trying to adjust and remove the day before. Glad I didn't have to have that on my contract still because this location didn't have one for me had I still needed it. Same old ring around the Rosie with this company. I thank the customer service representative for helping me yesterday morning. You can also tell the frustration she endures on behalf of the dispatch/uhaul crew who sends these contracts and doesn't prepare her. If moving contracts around different locations make sure they have what the customer needs. You are wasting customers time!!!! 770-778-3171 if you want to look up the contracts I have rented in the past and which one I'm talking about in this write up. Yesterday!

I had reserved a 10 ft truck but the system (or guy at the counter) tried to put me in a van. Lucky for me they still had a truck so other than 30 minutes to pickup the truck all was good. While there a guy came in to get a truck. He was late and things escalated quickly. You need to do a better job of making people aware that failing to pick up on time will either risk the vehicle not being available or result in an extra fee. Do something to protect the folks at the store from irate idiots.

I was initially impressed, but then once I got my final bill I was disappointed. I was under the impression that the $29,95 price was per day. I was shocked to find that I paid for 2 days when I had the truck for 6 hours. I returned it about an hour after I said I would. I needed extra time. I came early to pack up my truck too. I know I only requested 4 hours, but was shocked that I was double charged for 2 extra hours.

The lady who rented me the van seemed to be the owner but came off as bias. She kept insisting on me purchasing the protection plan when I declined the offer to include it on my rental! She originally was going to rent me the newer van but chose not to due to me not including U-Haul's protection plan! To add insult to the situation, the van I rented was NOT CLEAN!!! The driver seat had pet hair all on it and stuck to it! One of the workers, whom looks like he could be a relative told me that they would have to send it off to get cleaned and that that's the best can they can do. I wish I could show pictures of the seat! I waited about another 25-30 minutes to get things cleared due to apparent owner not willing to rent me the original van without the protection coverage! The online contract would not update to the van I was switched to and the worker who entered my information in the system could not get it together. I was left with using the paper print out they gave me for the contract. I want to give the owner the benefit of doubt but I felt some racial bias! If I have a choice and need to rent a moving vehicle, I would NOT come back here!!

I was charged a second day for not completing a mobile check in that was not explained to me or pointed out in the contract. I have rented from this location before and dropped off keys as usualI. I returned the truck the same day but It was not checked in on their system until1 hr after my due time. If the keys were dropped off and the vehicle at the location it is clear that I did not go over my contract time. I called the office and they gave me no assistance. I asked them to refund the additional day.

OK, there is a big, but easily solvable, problem with U-Haul in general, not limited to a specific location. For the first-time renter, there is nowhere mentioned that you must show up exactly at the time for which you made a reservation. I came 50 minutes later and was told that my reservation was already canceled by the system and the vehicle was no more available. There was no heads-up or notification at all. Luckily for me, employees could make a new reservation for a few hours later and I was not in such a hurry, so this worked out well. The same mistake was made by a roommate on the same day in a different location :(

1. My drop off location stated in my email was not the one I selected when I picked up the equipment. So I dropped off the car hauler there sobI would be able to access the truck. The associated at this location gave her 110 % best but it was NOT enough. I had to help her get the car off, park the car tow, and get the drop hitch detached from the truck. She called for assistance on the phone which eventually helped us get the equipment removed which took nearly 1hr and a half. 2. When logging into my account to change my drop off location it was once again not the location I selected and was annotated as the Pheonix location. 3. Spoke with a representative who assigned a different location which was helpful BUT clearly the system was not updated for the store front. The associate on duty was confused on if I was dropping off at her location and not different one. She did a wonderful job helping and was clearly passionate and knowledgeable. She should be a traveling trainer for the business! She shows passion, customer service, and understanding of the business. While uhaul is still top service in the business I truly hope this experience is a one off. I am pained to say where the people where good start to finish the business acumen suffered greatly (the business is the entire point).

When we received the vehicle the windshield was severely water spotted and it was out our windshield washer fluid so, I had to proceed immediately to a gas station to clean the windshield to be able to see adequately

I visited this location on Sunday 7/24 to inquire about renting a cargo trailer. The man behind the counter told me he had no trailers available and none would be ready until the following Wednesday. This caused me to drive the location at 1360 Holcombe Bridge Rd. in Roswell, GA. This Uhaul location advertises a closing time of 2PM. I arrived at this locations at 1:35 PM. Seeing the trailer I needed in the lot I enter the office to rent the trailer. I was told they don't take customers after 1:30 because there is paperwork to do including contacting Uhaul to process the rental and they close at 2. So they refused to help me and loose a sale due to arriving at 1:35. My wife went online only to discover the first location I visited had several trailers available. I returned to the Uhaul at 2840 Holcomb Bridge Rd to discover that the person I spoke with had lied about not having trailers because he didn't want to do the work involved in processing the rental. I know this because the Mgr said they had plenty of trailers and that this had given notice earlier that day that Tuesday would be his last day......... So in answer to your question "What an we do to improve for the next customer?" DO A BETTER JOB OF HIRING. HIRE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO WORK AND PROVIDE SERVICE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. The employees I encountered were only concerned with their own desire to do little or nothing for customers.

Manager asked me if i could drop it off at a different location, i didnt have a problem with that, i dropped it off within 3 hrs, and never got a e-mail or paperwork when i returned it, called customer service and they said i still had the trailer according to their records, and that i was going to be charged extra to drop it off at a different location, called the store to send me an e-mail, and they said they didnt have time , so i went to pick it up and took it to the location i rented it from and the old lady there, Cindy, got mad at me cause i took it back to her , she said i should have called, i called 3 times, that store doesnt have good ratings, she said she has the best ratings, i showed her the ratings she said oh i wasnt here at that time it wasnt me, ma'am i did my part took it to the place you told me, but you didnt do your work right no paper work no email , soni called customer service and i did what they told me, return it where i picked it up from cause it was a local pick up

1. My card was charged $14 for insurance though I chose the $10 plan. 2. I was charged $23 for gas though I turned the truck in with a full tank. I only drove 12 miles my entire trip. 3. The worker took pictures of my ID with his personal phone rather than a device directly connected to the computer. I will be going back to the facility to request an adjustment for a correct charge to my card.

We were initally charged for a broken windshield but it wasn't broken. We protested and the charge was removed without explanation. Otherwise the experience was really good. Please be careful when accusing customers of issues. This was very upsetting.

It took a long time to check in because it was a busy day and there was only one person at the counter. The requirement that one MUST complete checking correct miles via a mobile device is extremely racist against people who do not own a mobile device or are unable to use one (like the elderly). It was clear UHaul did not care.

I rented a 10x15 storage unit on the 1st floor in advance of my move to make sure I had a storage location. When I arrived from out of state, they told me that it was accidentally given to someone else and they didn't have any more that size. They decided to give me a 10x10 and 5x10, but this time on the 2nd floor. This made moving the large items in much more difficult. When I got to the 10x10 unit, it was full of someone else's items. I then had to wait for them to call that person to come and remove their stuff. All the while, I have paid movers on the clock who are helping me unload. We ended up helping the other person move out their items because that was the only way to move in. The storage unit had food items left inside and liquid spilled onto the floor. I had to ask for it to be cleaned. They were going to give it to me dirty. I ended up spending more on the movers than I should have and now have 2 units upstairs to unload instead of one on ground level. The manager was nice after the fact and mentioned giving a discount on the next month of rent, but I'll see if it actually happens. Overall, not a great experience.

I had a great experience with storage at Uhaul in Nesbit Ferry! The facilities were pristine and Cindy was so helpful. She provided carts to help unload the truck, and called another employee to sweep the already-clean unit before move-in. I recommend this location to anyone moving north of Atlanta for storage or truck rental.

The storage was supposed to be a controlled climate but the degree in there because of the AC not working was 115-120 I had to move all of my stuff in the heat. What should it taking me about an hour and a half took me 3 1/2 hours to do. And my tv is not working now I hope it had nothing to do with the climate being to hot. And when I first moved in it took me 2 and a half 3 hours to get me into my Storage which result in me having to break those stores she's up until two I did request for a manager and I was told within 2 to 3 days I will receive a call and I've never received the call and it has been a month.

When I first came in I was frustrated Manager gone and the gentlemen in the front had no idea what they were doing, once the manager came back it was smooth sailing. She told me I even got a month free and didn't have to pay until June this was in April. Unfortunately when May came I was sent a letter MY ACCOUNT WAS OVER DUE. Checking my account I only got April free so I paid my 107 dollars with late fees and moved out June 5. The gentleman helping did one heck of a job and was waited patiently so that I may return my truck on time. I wish I knew his name and his brother but I don't recall. I know he rented me my truck, ran to check out my storage so that we could get on our way, plus stayed late at work all on Saturday June 5th 2021. Thanks AGAIN!!!

Have no been able to get in touch with the property for days. Once I made contact I was given an assurance the unit would be moved out and closed. That still hasn't happened now I have to spend more hours trying to get this resolved. The lack of communication made me move into another storage and yet I've still had to spend all this time to get this unit discontinued.

The service was excellent. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5, was that I would have preferred that the service people and other customers were wearing masks. But they were incredibly friendly and very helpful. Very pleased.

Cindy and her husband were fantastic! They went far above and beyond to help me with a trailer I rented (from somewhere else) before heading out for a cross-country move. They re-hooked up the trailer (that someone else had done wrong), checked the air in the tires, and fixed an electrical issue with the trailer...all things they did not have to do. The storage unit was spotless and Cindy was great with all my questions. I would go back to this business anytime I needed anything for a move or storage. Highly recommend this dynamite team and their facility!

I understand that the power went out yesterday bc of a fallen tree but that does not give the general manager the right to take her stress out on her customers. I was just trying to figure out why the mobile pickup was not working and she would not even let me ask my question. Very poor customer service. I am Looking for a new place to store my items bc the general manager can not handle stressful situations.

The elevator broke while my movers were transferring items to the unit. Apparently, the person who was last in charge lost the override key, so my guys had to use the stairs. It was very hot outside and the process took longer, so I ended up having to pay them for an extra hour.

I waited in line for minutes because there was only one worker available to receive customers, process them and she had to retrieve trucks and drive them out to each client. I also had to be switched to a different unit because the one provided was not vacant. I hired movers for the day, needless to say I ended up incurring an additional expense. She was super sweet but all of the above was an incredible inconvenience.

Easy to get along with all the personnel...Of course there were some small problems, especially over 8years of use. But all it took was to drop by the office and touch base, ask for help, or try to work out a resolution... it was never difficult. Cindy, and Chantal were always helpful. I have No complaints ever, and that is over 8 plus years.

Long list of problems. They can't even find my reservation to cancel. The storage area is so poorly lit. Why offer 24 hour access if it's pitch black.... Door to storage unit doesn't stay open. They tried to transfer me to another unit. Still has a broken door. Transferred me back and they promised to give me a new door. They didn't. In the meanwhile I would just like to cancel before they charge me. They can't even do that.
