I was lectured that the location â€œ-already had 9 car dollies and they didn't have roomâ€. I was asked it this was the location I was supposed to use. I showed my contract and was told to drive in and put the trailer against a far fence since there wasn't room . A young man did arrive and then asked me to move the trailer to another location. Not a pleasant, customer experience.
I don't have any recommendations as the service and professionalism I received was exceptional.
I would love to drop off after hours - they closed early @ 5 on Sunday. I was charged an extra day - but was there as they opened. U haul is one of the only big fleet rental companies that does not really have a way to do this that I know of

you need a new manager of that location. I shouldn't have to be discriminated against because I am black. this has been the worst experience of my life. then you gave me an old truck with the check engine light on
The steering column locked up twice during my rental which wouldn't allow me to turn the key to start the engine. I ultimately was able to get it working but it took nearly 45 minutes to get it working. When I attempted to fill the tank at the end of my trip, the hose kept shutting off and I wasn't able to finish it. It may have been because I kept the truck running at the time, but I wasn't going to risk another incident with the steering column/ignition. The mileage recorded 322 was wrong. I am certain of this and I think it means that the odometer is overcounting mileage. I calculated the mileage using Apple maps to be 237 which is 85 less than the 322 recorded by the odometer and that I was charged for. In order to reconcile the above, I am requesting a refund to my credit card of $85, broken down as follows: 85 excess miles x $0.79 per mile = $67 18 gallons of gas x $1 difference in your charge of ~$3 per gallon vs. at the pump of ~$2 per gallon = $18 Total = $85
Customer service rep was very helpful and friendly. She made my job easy. She worked real hard in heavy rain and still was pleasant. Thank you.
I didn't get her name, but one of the staff helped when my phone couldn't determine the location. She went out of her way even though the store was closed and she was leaving for the day.
Trailer was old, tires had mud on them as though they had been cleaned, but stains were too deep. Trailer was very old, had a faulty door and closure. Just very old equipment. Not the local dealers fault, it was the only one available to fill my reservation. Staff was great and helpful, but they didn't get good equipment.

In first contact: Manager reeked of alcohol on her breath (We could smell it through our masks and across the desk and the plastic divider as well as when she walked around. The building and other employees had no alcohol smell whatsoever), complained and was in a bad mood the entire time we were there, didn't wear a mask, was in a bad mood and put up a fuss and argued with us to convince us not to pick up our auto transport that day. Plus, they didn't have all of the dollies we ordered. In second contact: manager used fowl language, knowingly rented us an auto transport with a flat tire, employee disconnected auto transport from truck prior to removing our vehicle and cost us hours of delay before we finally had to go elsewhere to pick up our transport. By the time we arrived at our destination, the ties on the auto transport had fallen to the sides of the tires and weren't holding our car on the transport (most likely due to faulty equipment, as Singh at the other location put the straps on very tightly) and we were in a very dangerous situation. We will be requesting an apology and full refund. Note: Chantel (I hope I am spelling this correctly) at this location was professional, warm and very easy to work with over multiple contacts. The two male employees were also polite and easy to work with. The manager was the sole (and very significant) issue.
You guys are a complete rip off!!!! You charged me a $25 cleaning fee when the truck was returned cleaner than when I received it. Is this how you make up for your losses during the pandemic. Shame on you. I'll leave this type of feedback on every website I can find. I called to report the issue and was told I'd get a follow-up call. Big surprise, no call!!! Complete crooks.

Manager very nice and took notes of the issues
Upon dropping off my trailer it was not properly inspected, I mistakenly left my lock on the back door which caused the next customer to not be able to use the trailer as intended. If the trailer had been properly inspected upon it's return this would have been caught along with it being properly delivered to the next customer. This caused me to have to drive back to the location and the next customer to waste an entire day. I was also told that I would have to pay an additional $100 to have a locksmith come to the other customers house to remove the lock which could have been avoided if the U-haul representative would have checked the trailer upon return. This left me with a bad taste in my mouth, I admit that I was partially at fault but some of the burden falls on U-haul for not inspecting the rental equipment thoroughly upon rental and return. I am not solely at fault as I was made to feel.
