Poor customer service, especially if you aren't even supposed to be interacting with anyone, since you did everything on line...including the check in. They were behind and you pay with your time and rude treatment.

If a person does everything on line, then they shouldn't have to still check in with rude workers, because the workers didn't have the van in the correct area. Acknowledge your fault and don't make the customer wait longer than they have to. The convenience of doing everything on the phone becomes void and the process is now annoying.

When I returned the vehicle and gave the attendant in the parking lot the keys, he sat in the drivers seat like a zombie. I wanted to get a receipt and he completely ignored me until another attendant came over to me and said you're fine. That was a mistake because he marked the fuel left in the tank as 1/2 full when it was actually 3/4 full. That 's the first problem. I never received a receipt explaining why the total bill was $172 not $88 as estimated. Repeated attempts at requesting a call back has been ignored. Total bullshit.

The truck was quite worn and abused for just 131k miles. Driver side window busted halfway down on day 4 during a rain storm, leaving the cabin and drivers seat soaked. The cargo area leaked over the cab, which soaked half of the moving blankets. Vehicle otherwise drove fine but not an enjoyable experience. Also nearly no safety features like rear view cameras or beeping.

I was told on the paperwork that the truck had 1/4 tank of gas. When I started the truck it was on empty. You lied to me from the beginning, so I lost money from having to fill the tank as soon as I picked up the truck. I would never recommend anyone do business with this location. I didn't complain because what's the point . It's not like you're gonna give me gas money .

On the tow dolly, the ratcheting tie down mechanism for securing the vehicle's front tires could use some attention / lubrication. Removing the tire tie downs at our destination was a two person job, with me holding both parts of the ratcheting mechanism in the released position while someone else pulled on the strap. Normally with ratcheting tie downs, only one side of the handle needs to be held in the released position, allowing the strap to be pulled out with the other hand. But the ratcheting mechanism on this tow dolly would not with that way. The two parts of the mechanism kept sticking together, and that was on both sides of the dolly.

I had great and friendly service from this location (props to Marlo, who helped me change from a local rental to a more convenient one-way rental). Two issues, one minor, one more significant: I was shorted one blanket out of the 24 I rented. The issue wasn't that I needed one more, I just didn't want to get charged upon my return. Fortunately, it ultimately wasn't an issue. The bigger problem is that when we selected the return location, I wasn't told that scheduling might change the location on me. I got a text after the regular scheduling department had closed that my return location had been changed to one that was 7 miles away. I had planned to walk back to my move destination from the original drop off location. After a frustrating conversation with the 24 hour crew (they kept suggesting locations even further away), I finally got them to agree to one that was a short subway ride back. Grrrr. Whether this was the rental pick up location's error in not prepping me for this change, or something they weren't aware of, I don't know. But it's inconceivable in 2025 that the logistics of a return location cannot be guaranteed at the time of pick up. WAKE UP UHAUL!!

I'm concerned that I've been charged for a missing utility dolly that was never provided. This oversight made the experience frustrating, and I believe future customers could benefit from better attention to detail when it comes to confirming the availability of equipment before charging for it. Ensuring that all requested items are actually provided or clarifying when something is unavailable would go a long way in improving the overall experience. A more proactive approach in resolving these kinds of issues would certainly help avoid confusion and dissatisfaction in the future.

Uhaul stole $280. 00 from me. Asked me to use a different debit card than the one I reserved the truck with, then charged my bank card and debit card including an extra $100!! They claimed " the computer" did it. Im still waiting for a refund. Never again!!! The worst!!!

The representative told me that I would rent the truck for 19,99 for the two days- $39,98- I calculated a 200 mile round trip- and yet my bill is calculated at 300 miles- there are alot of discrepancies- not pleased.

I was charged twice. I rented a vehicle from 1:00 to 6:00pm, and was charged for two days. I brought this to the person behind the desk and couldn't explain why. The episode almost erupt to an unfortunate situation when his coworker thought it was humorous. Which I addressed her in a frank manner. Her disposition changed immediately. After involving the manager via phone at the store, he assured me he would investigate. After several days I was reimburse. I recommend to CHECK your invoice from this particular place.

Not only do they and did they make my drop-off hassle free and smooth but every time I use their facility they are dealing with and handling not only customer concerns and issues but always make time to ensure that the equipment and facilities are well maintained ready for use! They go out of their way to make sure that as a repeat frequent customer I am satisfied and my needs met! I recommended them constantly to people I know who are need of rental moving equipment or storage! Truck was fine, only 6 blankets when ordered 10. No utility trolly, no furniture dollies even though they were selling them?? No record of my furniture bag purchase, regular trolly was good but broken were it attached to the truck. Couldn't get the truck started at first, so I had yo go get the girl to help me she was helpful but rude, no people skills what so ever. I dropped the truck off at 3pm, Guy said they were busy and send me the receipt via email. It took two phone calls to Uhaul, customer service, I finally received it just before 7pm, the time they close and said I had the truck till 5pm??

When I picked up the van, I was told to return it with a full tank of gas. I stopped at a station across the street from the UHaul location. I put almost 6 gallons of gas in the van. Since I had driven 28 miles, the mileage was under 5 mpg. So, either the van has abominable mpg value or the prior person to rent it did NOT fill the tank prior to return.

I have been with them for years I move around alot, just to come and check on my unit and the lock was changed, then I couldn't pay for one month and never got a call but when I called to make a payment was told I had to come and move my things out of the unit before they put it on auction. I had 72 hours to move it during Thanksgiving day holiday. There was no lights in the area the hours was changed for the holiday and there was no employees area for any kind of help. I got a call about beds left in the unit , no one was there for me to rent a truck from at that time. But was told they will charge it to my sons account, that isn't his agreement with them. The people are shady

Not understanding still how I was told because I paid for a friends u-haul truck rental that I was liable for monthly bills from Dec-April. I never checked my bank statement but was told to screw off when I said something about it. The rental was never my own. I am still contemplating legally resolving this matter. I recommended this place but cube smart will be my future go to.

Between the Gentleman that helped setting me up with my storage (I believe it was Joseph) and the one (Kevin) that helped close us out and sent off in a tow trailer; I couldn't have asked for anything better. Everyone was wonderful there. I allowed a friend access to my storage which gt me kicked out. I was required to vacate on feb 12th and was not given money back for days paid. I felt I should have been compensated or allowed to stay until the end of the term paid. I wound up having most of my belongings stolen because they were put outside. I was given only hours notice and I had no car to move my belongings. I am homeless so everything I owned was in that storage. I am now starting over from basically nothing.

The floors in the storage area could use resurfacing. They are very bumpy, and I nearly lost stuff to bouncing carts a few times. Otherwise, my experience was fine.

There were I few safety issues with this facility, And they block the garage entrance door with trucks and or trailers making it harder for people to get stuff inside ..chains on the docks is definitely a safety concern..definitely needs to be addressed

Access code to get in does not work. Had to wait for someone to let me in every time. Since access code does not work I can only come while someone is in the office, which decreased my moving/ ccess time from 10pm to 5pm. The employee said this is a common problem at the facility. If unresolved I will be moving my belongings which is a great inconvenience!

The questions I answered above are true but my question is my storage was going up for auction I have personal stuff in there like clothes and personal paper work and pictures my question is if I oun 5 hundred on my storage and sell it for 6 or 7 hundred do I get reimburse for something to replace my clothes?

Often staff was “missing” for several minutes and customer would just be cues up at the counter , additionally some of the staff were not pkease t or accommodating not knowing what arrangements had been made, additionally my unit was broken into and the lock changed by whenever broke in .. I was told it was not changed by uhaul so I was quite upset with that

Th whole process Took way too long and a couple of the employees did not know what they were doing!! I tried to make a return and he did not know how to do it it was extremely frustrating !!! I will never go back there! And I am calling Uhaul Head Quarters because this was absolutely the worst experience ever!!

I don't know what this is for--I moved out of storage unit #1060 on 8/26/22 & unit #2007 on 9/25/22. The access hours were difficult because the key card often didn't work.

As to the first question, the facility was secure, butit could have been better lit. At times I had to use a flashlight in order too see well in the room. Other than that, everything was great.

The On-Line site gave me the colored important information about the unit number, the day to move-in BUT Didn't Mention I Needed To First Go To The Office And Get A Swipe Card Registered To Get Access!! That Part Wasn't CONVENIENT AT ALL!!

After having my furniture stored there for extended period I was worried that there would be some kind of damage...closed in smells, pest etc. My furniture and boxed items came out the same way they went in. Damage, odor and pest free.

We reserved a unit a month in advance and were told the day we were moving in that the unit we reserved doesn't exist, despite us calling the day prior to confirm. Then the unit was not the size we wanted but had no choice but to move in anyway. We asked for the price we reserved but were told that we would have to pay more. Then I look online and it's more than the price that was quoted to us for the unit we moved into. NOT HAPPY
