Clerk was talking on the phone when I arrivedâ€¦ no one else was in the building. He never paused or hung up from his phone call which was obviously a personal call.. he was laughing and joking about who was going to cook. He was unprofessional rude and inconsiderate and made me feel unimportant, like I was a bother to him, or that I was interrupting his call. He typed with one hand when he finally acknowledged my presence and never put down his phone. I was frustrated and irritated by the time he finally fulfilled my request and I left. I'll never return to this establishment as poor/horrible customer service is a huge turn off for me; nor will I recommend this location either. Scored a D- as far as I'm concerned even tho the equipment itself was fine.BONNIE W.

The Assistant grabbed the appliance dolly to get ready for the next customer the lead took us around to park the trailer. He said he would email me a receipt and he did. However the appliance dolly was on another contract for 24 hour rental and I did not get a receipt for the dolly. However, Customer Service at this location is Excellent and probably the best customer service I have seen at a U-Haul location. They came out and greeted us and went to work on getting us in and out quickly. Highly Recommend this Location.Smitty B.

We were upgraded to a larger truck that cost me twice as much in gas for my 3000 mile trip. Had no other options refused to even check. They didn't have my car dolly, or furniture dolly. Refused to help me with boxes I bought. Forgot to give me my furniture pads and dolly. Had to go back. The truck I was given was all kinds of damaged multiple scraps repaired by putty and Crack in the windshield. Had to go to a different location for the car dolly. They don't attach the car properly and the 20 bucks was a waste as the car almost came off while driving. The first day.Heather W.

The staff was very polite, the store was clean and well organized. They didn't have the truck size I reserved and they bumped me up to the largest one they offer, which made driving through my apartment complex INCREDIBLY difficult, especially when towing an auto trailer. When I asked for an extra day on my reservation, the person at the counter gave me two, which raised the price significantly. It took them over an hour to "fix" it, the problem was that they re-ran the contract for only three days, not four like I requested. Then they told me that they had no furniture dollies at the location, "but it's okay, they'll just remove it off the contract". What? No! That's not okay, I didn't reserve it to look at it, I reserved it because it is needed for our move. Then they had me drive to a different location to pick up the dolly. So I finally returned to the original store and picked up my truck. Drove home, and navigated the narrow parking lot with a 26' truck plus trailer. I open the back end of the truck and see that they never gave me my appliance dolly (which I reserved in addition to the furniture dolly). When I called them they gave me the same "that's alright, we'll just refund you the money" speech. No! I reserved it because I need it. That put me in a situation where I had to decide to drive the largest truck they had through the apartment complex parking lot and risk damaging the truck or parked vehicles OR drive my personal car and scratch up the interior to fit the appliance dolly inside. I am VERY disappointed in that location. Again, the staff was very polite, but the experience was just dreadful.KAMIL Z.

To be honest, they were busy with others. I wanted to talk to them about the issues, and they just said leave it there and give me the key. I don't like to leave something I rented without a walk through. Tried to say something and again they were busy and said just give me the key. So in front of a customer I was rude, which I do not choose to be, but said ok there is a cracked windshield and the defrost and air does not work and the truck is dirty. I didn't eat in it, and only drank water, so it was not me and I swept out the back which was dirty when picked upâ€¦ but we did take videos before we left the parking lot in indiana and I took the other in your parking lot just now. After what happened to me the last time, when I moved here and the people who had the uhaul lot tried to say I went way over mileage and charge me (but videos I had to send to corporate uhaul showed the truth) so they didn't charge meâ€¦ but it was a lesson in always taking before and after walk through a of truck, mileage, gas because you never know who may be shifty. So I get worried now if a day or so goes by and all of a sudden I'm charged for something, like the last time, I do have the videos before and after in each respective lot. Not saying it will, or anyone is dishonest, but again it was a lesson learned. As far as drop off location it was exceptionally clean, but no one was inviting, but again they were busy and just shooed you away.Tina C.

I was provided a truck that the driver door did not open. I had to climb through to open it. Engine was hard to crank and it got 7mpg. Last truck I rented was thr same side and it got 14mpg. Truck had trash in it when I got it. Absolutely ridiculous.Heather M.

Provide better equipment for employees to move trailers around the lot. Non-powered lifts for heavy tongue weight trailers can cause work related injuries. I witnessed that when I dropped off my trailer.JOHN B.
I have rented multiple times at this location and it's the first time that everything wasn't excellent. The 10 foot truck had definitely been used much more than my previous rentals. Seats were torn and three warning icons were lite up when I turned the ignition on. I was told that the trailer towing icon was always on. The tire pressure light was supposed to be attributed to the a broken sensor. I never was told (as I stopped immediately up getting the truck and went back to report it to an employee) why the engine looking icon was on. Also the key fob fell apart and I had to gorilla gel glue it back together because the tiny sliver of metal left after all the plastic fell apart wasn't wide enough for me to get traction to try the ignition over.TERRI S.

I used the trailer two days and nearly 500 miles less than expected, but was still charged the same amount. Speaking of charges, the original bill was 294 $. However, when it was time to pay it came to over 70 $more. I was told it was "taxes and fees" but I was not given an itemized bill. I feel I was cheated.CHRIS B.

Inside of truck had a weed smell. Inside passenger tire shredded while on trip. Not sure if that could have been detected prior to trip. I was automatically disconnect twice from Text Chat due to Uhaul's wait time running out which was very frustrating and it cost me 30 mins of my life. i am upset with u-haul because i reserive a small truck and they didnt have one for me when i got there...i am a regular customer who rent from u-haul regularly. they had a van on the lot and i felt that they should have gave that to me and made that person take the 10 foot truck...u guys have never had a problem with me and ii am a regular renter. your rep didnt even offer any kind of discount. i am very-very upset with u-haul right now...this is the secend time that has happened to at u-haul....in i am very upset about it..CREOLA L.
