I was charged $15 for cleaning fee, but was never advised of the need to clean a little powder from the trailer bed. If Uhaul had a broom, I could have cleaned this very small of powder in about 2 minutes or in about 30 seconds with a leaf blower. I think this cleaning fee was unjust and never communicated. Otherwise, the customer service with this staff was excellent.

Richard MExplain how to use windshield wipers (didn't need though) and lights. This may seem like common knowledge, but it is not, especially when needed all of a sudden. I should have asked, but didn't think about it at the time. Great service overall. Merci!

robert c | Premières impressionsGoing forward if someone reserves certain equipment and items are not available please contact customer before hand instead of allowing a customer to think they will have all necessary items to move with and when it's time to move they are advised otherwise. Also if the U-Haul truck is on E a $10 credit is not enough to make up for that inconvenience.

syreta cI was told by a Uhaul representative on March 17, '24, that I would receive a 20 % discount on my next rental because of a bad experience with my rental from March 16,'24. But didn't receive any discount on my rental the next weekend. The Davis University Uhaul store morning crew is sad, angry, and unwelcoming when you go in. But the crew in the afternoon was polite, nice and welcoming. Store has problems.

Nelson KI wish I could remember the name of the young man that helped me. I had some special needs regarding a lock on my truck and some pads. He went above and beyond to meet my needs and make my drop off a very pleasant experience. Without his help, it would have cost me additional time and money that I could not afford.

Joseph STruck was clean but tire pressure was low -or- the indicators were faulty. This was reported prior to departure but I was told to self check the tires and go ahead if I was satisfied. Brakes grabbed and pulled hard right just prior to a full stop.

Christina GI received a reservation to pick up my Uhaul at Mobile Highway. As we are sitting rhere, I get a text to pick up the truck on N Davis Highway, which was 20 mins away. So I call the place, no answer. Call Customer Servive and he says he will put a note on the account but we could be 20 minutes late, we were going to be there 25 minutes late as we didn't know what was happening and I had to go into the UHaul to discuss. So frustrating that I was told the correct address before yesterday at 10am, literally. The truck needs maintenance and, especially rhe tire sensor.

Tiffany AI really don't think there's anything that you could actually do. It's in a great location, the only problem is only being able to go out one way. It's impossible to make a u-turn. But, overall it's a good place.

JOHN RIn Jan. 2024 while on vacation for our daughter's wedding, the transmission went out on our vehicle. U haul is one of the few services where you can tow your own vehicle back home. Thankfully our transmission is under warranty. Thank you UHaul for making an already stressful situation better.

Jeffrey MMy lock didn't close properly because your office refused to repair the door latch even after repeatedly bringing it to your attention. I had to always bring a second person and tools to pry the door upward so that the latch holes lined up and the lock bar could fit through both holes. I requested someone to bore the holes out larger multiple times. I have crippled hands. When I finally put my own lock on that had a thinner bar so that I wouldn't require a helper and tools, you took off my lock, put on your own, and locked me out of my unit. When I needed in, your employees couldn't find the key to your lock. Your employee spent 30 minutes trying different keys, then had the nerve to yell at me and call me names because I waited in my truck in the AC while you tried to unlock my unit, unsuccessfully. I was locked out. When I came back a week later, finally a nice man bored out the hole for me, and I was forced to spend $10 on your approved lock. By then I had bought a house and was in the process of emptying the unit. I DREADED having to go to my storage unit for the yesr I had it because I knew there was going to be a 15-30 minute struggle to lock it back up. And I had to find a friend to PAY to come help me every time. Your office REFUSED to fix my latch, so I mostly just couldn't access my belongings. I'm a single disabled lady, and I don't appreciate the extra work, expense, and hassle your office put me through. I have ZERO reason to ever recommend this facility to anyone, unless I hate them. I asked multiple times for my latch to be fixed. It took all of five minutes in the end. Yall owe me many HOURS of aggravation in my life that I can never get back.

Oh let's not talk about the dead large rat. Rats not Mice! And I paid for insurance coverage. Just awful. I had to throw so many of my things away. So I didn't even open because I saw it had been eaten through.

It looked like it was hanging from the wall and when I touched it it sparked. I reported it to the desk and one of them came to verify it wasn't working. The next time I go back I have to let them know so someone can possibly fix it. I'm not upset by it, just wished it was already fixed so We could see to put our stuff in.

Always suggested extra products that I needed. JQ knew which boxes I needed to purchase and exact quantity. Davis Hwy Uhaul made my move & storage a less stressful time. The entire staff needs to branch off to management at other Uhaul stores. This is one of the best teams ever!!!
