The unit was clean but the passenger side mirrors were useless and I couldn't adjust them…. Basically the unit was a danger to drive. Could cause an accident while changing lanes.

marv H.I placed an online reservation a month in advance to do a one way rental. I got told two days before the rental I would have to travel to Killeen. I wasn't happy about it but said it was fine and booked it. Then 3 hours before my rental I got notice I didn't have a truck. I called and they said I would have to go 3 hours away for a truck. I ended up calling the reservation line to see what else may be out there only to find out there were trucks available all over austin. It was just no one wanted to give me a one way rental. I cancelled the one way and picked up a truck 5 miles from my house 15 minutes later for a truck I had to bring back. This could have screwed up my whole move out and the people I talked to about it didn't care. The people at this branch were fine, but I had no other way to share my feedback.

I was told my truck could be ready yesterday when the representative did not realize it was a holiday and neither did I and my Husband and I ended up going to three different locations to pick up a truck for our moving day. It was very stressful, but we got it done somehow thanks to the wonderful representative who found availability for us in such a short notice. And we are able to still return the truck within that day.
alex C.This location is a joke… I had the 26†Truck for a little over 6 hours and I was charged for 2 days. It should have been $119 but had hold for $160 then charged me another $139.00. They were getting ready to close and told me to check online. I forgot and left my paper work in the truck and didn't know I need to take a picture of the mileage and gas line. I was told to just put the keys in the box… so I feel like charged me what they wanted… I'm so upset I feel never use them again. The only reason I went to this location they were the only one with a 26 truck.. scammers at 10125 N Ih 35 Austin TX 78753.

Took less than 5 mins! Trailer tie down rings were missing / broken at the tailgate end of the trailer. Had to improvise to secure my load.

Then gave me a different truck than what the online check-in said. Truck was not ready - prearranged equipment was by not in truck and I had to move the truck for the employee to load it. I'm disappointed in the check-in process at this location.

James H.The “General Manager “ was rude. I am a regular with uhaul. Regular meaning, I rent 2-3 times a week. I have never been told a picture of me needed to be taken although my license was given to them. I have always been able to use the card on file when booking, this location did not let me use the card. In between checking customers in the guy kept leaving the desk to go outside. I called my husband and told him to NEVER BOOK AT THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN!!!!!

Patrick G.I rented 6'x12' utility trailer for a day and returned it 30 minutes late because I spent about an hour cleaning up and hose the trailer down and returned it squeaky clean. I was charged an extra day for 30mins. They just told me you didn't have to clean. Guess they could charge a cleaning fee that way. Not going to rent from this location ever.

jacob D.- Only one employee the morning of pickup, which meant an extended wait time in line. - Employee rejected the hitch pin that has been in use on my hitch for years, and with which I have towed dozens of U-Haul trailers, including from this location. This forced me to buy a new one from U-Haul on the spot. I'm happy to present the rejected pin to any U-Haul representative for further inspection.

Tejaskumar P.The girl working the countertops me it would be cheaper to drop off trailer on a one-way route then when I got to the counter she charged me $200 more and said she didn't say that it would be cheaper. When I questioned her about it, she completely ignored all my questions. Then after a couple more questions, she threw up her hands and said she refuses to help me anymore. I will never rent from Uhaul again. Her name was Selah Price. I will take my money elsewhere.

darrin M.The people were pleasant enough, but over worked. The truck dash lights were not working which made driving difficult to determine the speed. This malfunction is easy to overlook if the vehicles are mostly driven during daylight, but very hazardous if you get caught having to drive after dusk.

To my surprise my 2 TV's, my bed and a nice desk were taken. Yes, there are cameras, but they didn't seem to capture visuals on the thief. Plus, I had to pay for a whole month for 5 days before I was moving out with no refund. I'm terribly disappointed.

She is kind and patient and she solved all my problems when I messed up an online reservation. My move would have been so difficult and she cheerfully and helpfully got me a truck and handled all the paperwork and online stuff. Thank you so much! Both times I used this facility she was there and was so friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. The storage facility is great, too. Easy in and out with our stuff. Huge elevator and lots of dollies to move. I was surprised at how quickly we could load and unload the unit.

I reserved my unit online, which was a very smooth process, but it was in person moving in where I learned what a mistake I had made. First, they tried to get out of the one month free rent (which I was due, given my one-way truck reservation through UHaul), and had to end up calling the manager (who was not on-site) to make sure that it was okay for them to give it to me. After confirming all of that, buying the lock for the storage unit, and going through the final booking for my unit, I was shown my unit and then informed that the access hours ARE NOT WHAT IS LISTED ONLINE. My access hours would actually be the location's office hours (7am-7pm Monday-Saturday and 9am-5pm Sunday, instead of the listed 5am-10pm). They changed their access hours sometime "in the last year or two due to multiple break-ins of their units". My representative repeatedly told me "I wouldn't put anything of value in your unit if I was you". After learning about that, I was informed that their access system was having difficulties, so I would not be able to use my key code to get into the storage building to access my storage unit. Instead, I would have to get the manager or another representative to open the storage building door for me each time I wanted in. When I asked when that issue would be fixed, my representative said he was unable to give me any sort of timeline (days? weeks? months?), only that they were working on it and it would "hopefully be fixed soon". My representative's code worked, and while we were talking about this, several other people were able to use their codes to access the building. Maybe it was because I have a new code? He was sure my code wouldn't work, but was unsure why, and it felt super shady. I tried my access code later, and sure enough it did not work. To top everything else off, the interior temperature of the building was sitting just above 90 degrees. There is a sign on the wall that shows a thermometer and says "For your comfort this storage area is kept between 65 and 85 degrees". It was cooler than the 102 degrees outside, but given I'm paying extra for a climate controlled unit, it would be really nice if they actually kept it within their stated acceptable temperature range. To sum up, I would absolutely not recommend this location to anyone. I was talked down to the whole time, and the whole interaction felt really shady. Also I would have chosen a different location had I known about the multiple break-ins of storage units! If I had known what I know now, I would not have gone here. TLDR; Do not recommend, save yourself and go somewhere else.

She referred me to her manager for the storage unit, but he initially wanted me to pay for a new 5*5 reservation rather than checking me in to the 5*10 one I reserved as part of the one way rental. When I told him one of the car carrier tie down straps was torn shorter than the other but the staff at the original U-Haul attached and tightened the short one for me, he rudely grilled me saying he was going to check and double check for any marks that he can attribute to me as an unreported accident and that the safemove insurance would not be valid if he could find a scratch. No, I didn't have any accidents in it, but we definitely left the side-view mirrors cleaner and better aligned than how they started out. Both the storage unit manager and my new apartment manager said that the U-Haul storage facility is in a bad neighborhood in terms of break ins.

She then put me on hold but before said she was getting someone to better assist me. Another girl got on the phone and was professional at first but then began to cut me off the. Telling me it was my fault o should have taken a picture of my mileage. Things got more rude then she put me on hold I hung up she kept calling me back finally when I answered I asked to speak to her supervisor she was arguing with me about that. She then got a man on the phone claiming to be a supervisor but wouldn't give me his name so he hung up on me. I never had this experience before until now I have used U-Haul for 20 plus years and never had anyone rude or disrespectful. I will be sending an email to Henry. Y'all need to hire professional staff..

WHAT IS THE POINT OF A RESERVATION SYSTEM IF THE ONLINE RESERVATION IS NOT HONORED! I am lucky they were able to help me find another unit nearby although I am now paying more than I had initially intended to for a unit of the same size. Great staff, terrible reservation system. I am never recommending a uhaul storage unit to anyone and will never use uhaul storage or anything uhaul again. Moving is already a stressful experience, and finding out that the unit you reserved is no longer available when all your furniture is a truck in the parking lot is even more stressful . Awful, irresponsible, and unbelievably unreliable.

I would like to recommend if at all possible she have some type of recognition for her outstanding customer service. She seems to be really dedicated and loves her job!
