LEVIN C | Overall ExperienceOn May 17, when I initially checked in to rent a U-Haul truck, an employee mistakenly charged my account $378.88 for another customer's rental. The correct charge for my rental was $99.50. My primary concern is that when I returned to rent another truck on July 27, I was informed that my account had been placed on hold, preventing me from completing my reservation due to the unresolved billing error from my previous rental. Although the issue was eventually corrected, the error caused an unnecessary inconvenience and delayed my ability to rent a vehicle. Errors of this nature should not occur, particularly when they have the potential to negatively affect a customer's account status and future transactions. I encourage U-Haul to review its billing and account verification procedures to help prevent similar incidents from affecting other customers.
