Service personnel at the counter were not very friendly, did not appear to be well trained, and were unable to adequately explain charges. The new employee who checked in the van upon return was awesome though!

Truck needed alignment Steering wheel had bad play in it. scary to drive. Left to right . To keep the wheel straight Turns on the highway are the worst... Other than that truck was clean and it did the job awesome customer service. Also need security for night lot. Don't leave personal vehicle there Take a risk of getting it broken into. I arrived a few minutes late after closing. The woman just looked at me and didn't say a word, and she was standing right there checking in another vechicle, then proceeded to walk inside the building. An older gentleman can over and ask, "what are we doing here?" I replied, "here to check in the truck and trailer". In informed me that I missed operating hours and I have to check it in via app. The a younger gentlemen with short dark hair approached me very quickly and said, "Are you able to unload your car by yourself? If so, we will help you get checked in". I really appreciated him going that extra mile for me! I dropped my car and the older gentleman bought me my close out receipt and I was off.

I went ti this location due to the fact that the location I usually go to did not have a tow dolly available. customer support found one at this other location which I'm real appreciative of. the tow dolly that I got had rusty pull lever that made it difficult to tighten the wheels to the dolly. overall I would recommend uhaul because of the support i got from the people involved. When I picked up the truck it was not 3/4 fuel. It was near, but a little below the 3/4 mark. I dropped off the equipment with the same amount of fuel, even above but I was charged 8 dollars because the documents said 3/4. This was not fair. The man who received the truck told me he couldn't do anything and that this was my fault not to indicate this situation when I picked up the truck. Didn't think you were so tricky to write down 3/4 when it was a little below but when I dropped off the vehicle those 3/4 didnt count the same.

The incorrectly charged me for insurance i did not ask for. They also ripped me off on the fuel charge. I turned the vehicle on and the gauge read inaccurately. Therefore i added extra fuel. When I complained they refused to refund me.

This was perhaps the worst U-Haul I have ever rented. The transmission slips on the highway, the brakes are almost gone and the battery almost didn't start twice in a 6 hour period. It was old and needs to be retired!

May need a few more people working during the weekend, they did a great job getting through people as best they could but there was certainly a bottleneck. Trucks themselves were in decent condition, the one I got had some minor damage on the front but the check in process has you notate any comments and snap a pic before leaving the lot so its all pretty smooth. Location is actually one of the easier ones to get in and out of which in my book is a plus.

when picking up there was a lot of side talking that was interfering with custom check out. I shouldn't know who got their hair dyed but is doing their eyebrows theirselves. Also a rep getting on computer I was being checked out on and then proceeding to count baggies of change on the counter where there really isn't room

Check side mirror stability during driving. Do not allow reservations when the vehicle is not in the lot. Have the fuel tank full to avoid confusion at fill-up.

I have been using Public Storage since my earlier moving days, always came back, never had any issues. Unfortunately, my unit was vandalized 2628. To my surprise my 2 TV's, my bed and a nice desk were taken. Yes, there are cameras, but they didn't seem to capture visuals on the thief. Plus, I had to pay for a whole month for 5 days before I was moving out with no refund. I'm terribly disappointed.

This was not the original location I had booked for the pick-up and drop off, while the employees here were very kind and helpful the change resulted in nearly 30 dollars more in mileage charges that were unnecessary costs

This location is clean, organized, and the team members are very friendly. Only thing that could have been better was a 2nd person to help customers get set up for their rentals. Had to wait more time that normal. But... service was excellent!

I had done everything online and I knew I was good to go, but I had stopped inside to make sure everything was good and thank goodness I went In cause I would have been lost with the key pads and what to do. The lady manager had explained everything and she was wonderful. Unfortunately I'm terrible with names and I can't remember hers but she works at the ih35 and rudburg uhaul. She was amazing. the manager of the store the day I was there, I believe a lady named Francis, but I could be wrong, is simply excellent. She is kind and patient and she solved all my problems when I messed up an online reservation. My move would have been so difficult and she cheerfully and helpfully got me a truck and handled all the paperwork and online stuff. Thank you so much! Both times I used this facility she was there and was so friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. The storage facility is great, too. Easy in and out with our stuff. Huge elevator and lots of dollies to move. I was surprised at how quickly we could load and unload the unit.

While the initial attendant that was taking care of us was really kind and courteous, there was someone from the management team who came in to assist and was incredibly rude to both myself, and the customer next to me. She very rudely said she had cancelled my reservation since I arrived late (due to an emergency) and was really disrespectful and unapologetic in the way she addressed customers. She lied and said I no longer had a truck for being late, then after I said I'd have it back before 4:30pm, she said there in fact was a truck, but that she was doing me a favor in letting me rent it. When I said that nowhere in the rental policy did it state that my reservation would be canceled in case I arrived late, she responded with "Well, that's what we do!" The customer next to me had the same exact issue and she handled it in the same, unprofessional way. I also had a dolly reserved, but they said there were none available, causing me to go elsewhere to purchase one and further delaying my move. During the return process, several of us were waiting in line for 45+ minutes, with no one indicating that all we needed to do to return a truck was hand the keys to the attendant outside. This location was understaffed, with several customers being treated rudely, and merchandise was either unavailable or not up to par (our truck's side view mirror was completely loose, causing my partner to adjust the mirror constantly while driving, which was incredibly unsafe.) It wasn't until after the fact that I realized this location has 2,5 stars, which I wish I'd seen sooner. I hardly ever leave reviews, but took the time to write this one to hopefully save someone from a bad experience. Moving is stressful enough; do yourself a solid and even if it's less convenient, find another place to rent from.

My Uhaul rental was smooth and flawless! I've never rented a Uhaul before but it was needed this time. Everything was clear and concise online. The information was emailed after reserved. The online instructions on how to pick up and return were excellent. I pre-registered so pickup was extremely fast, just walked up to the counter and I was given the keys after showing my registration on my phone. The saleswoman was very polite and helpful. She had loads of customers and was not stressed at all! We inspected, signed online and drove off. My entire move was perfect! Return was just as simple. We drove up, followed the online instructions and a Uhaul representative came out to inspect and look at mileage and we were on our way. I highly recommend Uhaul truck rentals! Two thumbs up!

Update online services to be correct. This location does not offer after hour pick up yet it is an option. Once I arrived the lady was not friendly because she was there after hours.

I returned the gas exactly as when received and I was told by the clerk that it wasn't. At the time my phone had died so I was not able to prove my case. He satated that he was going to charge me $18. I then had to GO BACK to the gas station to put more gas. I would be more than happy to share those images

I was assured that the truck I was renting would be available at another location and it wasn't. The truck I ended up with was in a bad condition. The key lock was hanging out the door (I could not lock or unlock the door from the passenger side). The gas cap was broken and the light was on continousley for 1200 miles which made it impossible to see any other warning lights or the odometer. The AC would shot off periodicly during the trip and the brakes were quite soft.

I called U-Haul directly to find out what location I could pick up my keys before hours so that I could start moving at 7am. They told me this location. Then I get a call from U-Haul 2 days before moving day saying this location doesn't have the option to pick up keys before hours. They told me they were changing my scheduled time from 9a-5p instead of 7a-3p. I was fine with that. Then I go to pick up my keys at 9am on moving day, and Francis told me I have to have the truck back by 3p. I explained to her that I was told I could have the truck back by 5p. Then she started being rude to me and threatened me saying if I couldn't have the truck back by 3pm then she wouldn't allow me to have the truck. The proper response from someone with good customer service would have been “Sir I'm sorry for the mistake and misinformation my company has provided, I apologize for the inconvenience, let me see what I can do for you” but instead she tries to get all defensive with me shaking her head side to side with an attitude. To top it off, I was told that if I don't fill the gas tank up back to 3/4 where it was when I rented the truck, that I would be charged all this extra money. So when I was filling the truck up, with the key turned slightly so that I could see where the needle was on the gas tank, the needle never moved, and I ended up filling the truck up to full instead of back to 3/4. The needle never moved to full until I drove the truck for 5 more miles. And after being threatened with extra fees for gas if I didn't fill it back to 3/4, I was told there would be no compensation for me accidentally filling the truck up, due to the gas needle on the dashboard not displaying the correct amount of gas. Horrible experience! Francis needs to be terminated or taught a good lesson on customer service. She needs to be taught accountability instead of being rude. And the needle on the truck I drove is not functioning properly so customers should be made aware of that. And lastly I should be compensated for giving your company free gas.

Staff was very helpful and patient. Everyone there was busy and working hard. The manager Francis was very helpful not only with me, but also with her coworkers. It was nice to watch her handle problems. She did a great job. Unit is clean and access is pretty smooth.

Tears on the seats on the inside of trucks should be patched. I had three visits to this location and they seemed understaffed with a long wait each time, even when using self check-in during business hours I had to wait a long time to give the keys to a staff member.

TLDR; Do not recommend this location, save yourself and go somewhere else. I would not choose this facility again. I reserved my unit online, which was a very smooth process, but it was in person moving in where I learned what a mistake I had made. First, they tried to get out of the one month free rent (which I was due, given my one-way truck reservation through UHaul), and had to end up calling the manager (who was not on-site) to make sure that it was okay for them to give it to me. After confirming all of that, buying the lock for the storage unit, and going through the final booking for my unit, I was shown my unit and then informed that the access hours ARE NOT WHAT IS LISTED ONLINE. My access hours would actually be the location's office hours (7am-7pm Monday-Saturday and 9am-5pm Sunday, instead of the listed 5am-10pm). They changed their access hours sometime "in the last year or two due to multiple break-ins of their units". My representative repeatedly told me "I wouldn't put anything of value in your unit if I was you". After learning about that, I was informed that their access system was having difficulties, so I would not be able to use my key code to get into the storage building to access my storage unit. Instead, I would have to get the manager or another representative to open the storage building door for me each time I wanted in. When I asked when that issue would be fixed, my representative said he was unable to give me any sort of timeline (days? weeks? months?), only that they were working on it and it would "hopefully be fixed soon". My representative's code worked, and while we were talking about this, several other people were able to use their codes to access the building. Maybe it was because I have a new code? He was sure my code wouldn't work, but was unsure why, and it felt super shady. I tried my access code later, and sure enough it did not work. To top everything else off, the interior temperature of the building was sitting just above 90 degrees. There is a sign on the wall that shows a thermometer and says "For your comfort this storage area is kept between 65 and 85 degrees". It was cooler than the 102 degrees outside, but given I'm paying extra for a climate controlled unit, it would be really nice if they actually kept it within their stated acceptable temperature range. To sum up, I would absolutely not recommend this location to anyone. I was talked down to the whole time, and the whole interaction felt really shady. Also I would have chosen a different location had I known about the multiple break-ins of storage units! If I had known what I know now, I would not have gone here. TLDR; Do not recommend, save yourself and go somewhere else.

The staff member who helped me check in the car carrier in order to be able to unload the truck was friendly and helpful. She referred me to her manager for the storage unit, but he initially wanted me to pay for a new 5*5 reservation rather than checking me in to the 5*10 one I reserved as part of the one way rental. When I told him one of the car carrier tie down straps was torn shorter than the other but the staff at the original U-Haul attached and tightened the short one for me, he rudely grilled me saying he was going to check and double check for any marks that he can attribute to me as an unreported accident and that the safemove insurance would not be valid if he could find a scratch. No, I didn't have any accidents in it, but we definitely left the side-view mirrors cleaner and better aligned than how they started out. Both the storage unit manager and my new apartment manager said that the U-Haul storage facility is in a bad neighborhood in terms of break ins.

The manager at that location is never available. I had paid for 24 hour access which I tried to use and it didn't work and they didn't apologize for it. There was roaches in my unit and no apology that time either. I had to move my stuff and spray everything.

I called b speak to Mr Henry Guerra When I woman answered I told her my issue about me being charged over my mileage. She then put me on hold but before said she was getting someone to better assist me. Another girl got on the phone and was professional at first but then began to cut me off the. Telling me it was my fault o should have taken a picture of my mileage. Things got more rude then she put me on hold I hung up she kept calling me back finally when I answered I asked to speak to her supervisor she was arguing with me about that. She then got a man on the phone claiming to be a supervisor but wouldn't give me his name so he hung up on me. I never had this experience before until now I have used U-Haul for 20 plus years and never had anyone rude or disrespectful. I will be sending an email to Henry. Y'all need to hire professional staff..

Terrible experience! When I got to the Uhaul facility where I made my reservation, they told me my unit was no longer available. WHAT IS THE POINT OF A RESERVATION SYSTEM IF THE ONLINE RESERVATION IS NOT HONORED! I am lucky they were able to help me find another unit nearby although I am now paying more than I had initially intended to for a unit of the same size. Great staff, terrible reservation system. I am never recommending a uhaul storage unit to anyone and will never use uhaul storage or anything uhaul again. Moving is already a stressful experience, and finding out that the unit you reserved is no longer available when all your furniture is a truck in the parking lot is even more stressful . Awful, irresponsible, and unbelievably unreliable.

I felt like the haul truck was going to break down. Glad I was just going around the corner. But in the storage room needs better directions I got lost for the first time called for assistance nobody answer the phone neither time.

Cheapest in town. I had looked at other places and they all advertised these "sales" but then hit you with admin fees. Looked up prices on the website for uhaul and at checkout there were no surprises.

Yeah your staff you had at the place where I picked my truck up and where I had my storage unit at never it went above and beyond the call of duty I mean they were definitely good employees you know I think you should give him a raise and her a raise cuz of the young lady that was that helped me with my toolbox and I didn't expect her to help me but she just came out of there and turns out she was stronger than I was but yes she was the one that was working on the one on I-35 north in Austin Texas but yeah I would recommend y'all cuz that's the only people yell the wrong people I deal with you because you get it right every time.

The Lady that helped was very very sweet. I cannot remember her name but she was a thin African American Girl and she was there around 4ish on Friday 6/11/21 at the IH35 location between Breaker and Rundberg in Aust tx ..She was really caring eased my mind as I was going through a tough situation! I would like to recommend if at all possible she have some type of recognition for her outstanding customer service. She seems to be really dedicated and loves her job!

The express to the young man that I think his name was either Curtis or Christopher he was working there at the North Lamar store he was very helpful and he says you know if you don't have room for that we got a big storage facility over here on I think it's breaker lane or something here in North Austin Texas and it was real it was real cool and he set me up gave me the number and I googled it and I found it. Y'all should give that young man a raise cuz he is very good at what he does you know he's he was very helpful and I would definitely recommend them to everybody I mean I've always used you all no matter what. Because you always have what I need and when I need it so thank you

Improper mask usage. All workers either not wearing, or below nose. Constantly grabbing at center of mask with bare hands and touching everything from paperwork to cards being exchanged. Felt so uncomfortable, as I am moving due to losing family to COVID and and trying to be cautious when this made that impossible. Also given a unit that already had a lock on it and that caused even more issues. I would not recommend this location to anyone based on these actions and the manner workers presented themselves in. I am only grateful for the young woman who fixed the storage unit access issue as fast as possible. Although this also left me with a unit in the very back when mine was originally in the front.

The tornado experience was horrible and sad. We had 3 unit's effected, but the staff was great about helping with the clean out/ damage. Staff has always been nice and helpful is why we have dealt with UHaul from day one! We are a UHaul customer for life! They accommodate us well with all our needs!
