KIMBERLY SWe were given a dirty truck, that was buried among all the other trucks. We were sent alone to go get our truck, then had to go inside because there was no way to get it out. The truck would not drive over 55mph and delayed our trip immensely. Overall I would not recommend this.

JOHN FWe were charged extra $68 for gas when it had the same amount of gas as when we picked it up, 1/4 tank. Unfortunately I didn't take photo of gas gage as proof. Not happy about that. Employee miss read the gage.

IAEL MThe entire rental was horrible. Made a reservation for a location about five minutes away from my house. Reservation was changed without any knowledge. Had to drive about 15 miles to pick up the truck and then 15 miles back home and 30 miles to the new residence and was charged for extra mileage. I will never rent from Uhaul again.

TRACY LDo a thorough inspection on the vehicle. No windshield washer fluid, speedometer didn't work, gas gauge didn't work, slow air leak in the tire that made me have to pull over and fill it up multiple times on my trip. Horrible experience.

Michelle PThis was 3rd location where we tried to get the truck that was reserved. If this location was there all along, why were we sent to the first two locations to get a truck that wasn't there.? Just have customers go to where you know the equipment is located instead of sending them on a wild goose chase. It only causes frustration for the customer you hope will have the next time.
CONNIE FBetter live customer service. We reserved 3 week sin advance. We got Sent to 3 dif places. Dollies we rented were unavailable. There was no prior communication. We had to locate and drive truck around on our own. Uhaul has definitely gone down. AI is not working for you.

LADONNA WWell trained cashier to serve customers. I'd not ready have a seasoned cashier to shadow. The fuel refill estimates were about a third off, had to refuel 3 times.
Tom GRichard is a badass at the Uhaul shit in the best way. Helped me get the truck I needed within 5 minutes, answered all my questions about climate-controlled storage and I ended up renting the truck and storage which when I was done I returned the truck at the same location. What a great service and experience all backed by Richards help.

WILGAIS SWhen renting out a truck, make sure there is gas in the truck. The one I was given was on fumes and was told I would be given a 20 dollar credit. The truck had a 30 gallon tank and I put 28,7 gallons in which was 83 dollars and I had only driven 1 mile. The 20 dollar credit was no where close to what was spent right off the bat.
CHARLES RThe manager (worker) was very, very rude. He was a butt hole! He wouldn't rent the truck because the had a tear but we presented other state ID. He said a black man had fake ID and now he can't rent. We can go somewhere else and get a rebter truck. I made reservation at that location because it was close.. l am a black female (80) and Black are not the same! I took his name and I plan to call uhaul Corp. Ofc.

VICTORIA LDriving from TX ro AZ and the truck broke down before we left Texas. Tire popped. After uhaul tried to blame us for their negligence. It was taken to the shop. Then found out it was more damage. Another tire was bad, struts, wheel bearings, etc. Repair place said this truck was not going to make that long trip. Uhaul could have killed my entire family on the highway with a truck that was so badly maintained! It should have never been rented out! I am speaking to a lawyer.

I was wrongfully charged and money taken from me for no reason other than a lack of training on uhaulas part and that's coming from 2 of the employees at this altamesa location. I was accused of stealing a appliance dolly when I clearly didn't and Dustin at this location can verify my story because he's was the one that told me where to park, & what to do with keys Saturday when I dropped it off. Sunday morning I see that I was charged for not returning a dolly. I went back to the store and spoke to Dustin and explained the BIG FINANCIAL PROBLEM this has caused me and asked if he remembers me dropping off truck and he confirmed that the dolly was there. I cleaned that truck and returned it with dolly in the back as instructed. Dustin then tells me it was a new girl that checked it in and someone probably took the dolly in and she didn't see it so put down that ut wasn't returned. He then said everyone is new basically and needs to be mentored and I'm suffering the financial consequences of this lack in effort and training. I don't have enough money to go to work because now I don't have money for gas that I budgeted me having for the week. I have zero money to buy food to feed my family or get anything else for that matter to get me through the week...all because of an loops and lack of training with new people. I'm very upset and this has cause me very serious financial stress that was totally unnecessary and very unprofessional. One of employee I spoke to over the phone Saturday was very rude, unprofessional and blew me and my situation off like it wasn't his problem. I NEED CORPORATE UHAUL MANAGEMENT TO CALL ME TODAY ON MY CELL ...817-443-1193. I text the store managers (richard) cell number sunday after talking to dustin and leaving the store to inform him of this serious situation, he hasn't responded. CORPORATE PLEASE CALL ME TODAY!

CLEOPHUS BCounter experience was excellent. Trailer hook-up was also very good.
Marshall FTruck was dirty, especially the windshield. The car transport was in excellent condition. This location was not busy at the time of pick up and drop off, but the service was slow compared to other locations I've used in the past. I arrived a few minutes before my pickup time, but did not leave with the equipment until 25 minutes after my scheduled pickup time. This 25 minutes was not deducted from the four hour rental time. I turned the equipment in on time, but would've liked to have the full time scheduled in case more time was needed.

This was first encounter with someone after moving down to Texas from Oklahoma. Walked in at 658, they closed at 7 started by giving me a look then ran to the door and locked it, locking a lady out at 659. Proceeded to use the comments "let's deal with your sh** outside" "hurry up children" "you and you (pointing at the few people) are both pissed the Fu** off for cause I can't help you after 7pm" "it never ends with ignorant and entitled people" saw where I worked my 26ft uhaul (didn't know where they wanted it so I parked it infront of a few 16ft trailers) went on and on how I didn't use my brain where to put it, then started mocking me cause I could've done the drop off myself whenever I wanted and I didn't need to hold him past 7pm. Finally after he mocked me more than once, I told him to shut the he** up and his customer service was the worst I've seen in my life after I've had enough listening to him complain. Told me "almost like I don't get paid enough for all this" told him "you need a new job, is there's nothing else from me I'm leaving" replied as I was leaving "just like every other entitled person to come to this location, didn't expect something from you either" would not recommend anyone to go there!

JD CIt's at least 40 minutes from SW Austin and I was unaware that could be a possibility. It took us 3 hours to get back to where we started and get started moving out of the storage. The added mileage cost me extra because we went 14-15 miles over the 200+ free miles. I did reserve and jump through the hoops to be prepared and was caught off guard with the changes.

JOYCE Stook way too long to check the truck back in. there were supposedly "a couple of guys out there" checking in, but we never saw one. ended up leaving the keys in the truck an hoping for the best. Definitely not ideal.

Checked out this pass Tuesday on May 28 and it took me calling and going up there 4 times to finally get a closing receipt 3 days later! Had to pay a locksmith $150 to cut off lock because key was misplaced by family member where Uhaul in Cleburne will cut. Off for $10! Manager was unreliable and light in front of unit only stayed on 2 minutes then clicked off until one had to get up and walk few feet to get back on Lastly, U-Haul continuously increased the rate every 3-6 months without much warning!!! Do Not recommend U-Haul at Alta Mesa and Westcliff ever

We changed units, was charged w/ old units late fee (which we never occupied) got a cancellation notice because we hadn't moved in new one yet and foot was open. Each time I called to address it. staff always took care of us even though it was frustrating in the middle of a move. Staff very kind and gracious through it all.

I am very, very, very unhappy. I have been a Uhaul client for over 20 years but this is my last experience.

Veneisa A | Expérience généraleOnce I got to the 1st fort worth uhaul storage facility the owner was an absolute monstrosity. There was a storm the night prior and he was not able to provide any assistance. I ask did he have any way of contacting another facility to ask if they were good and he stated no in an unprofessional manner while he had his cell phone on his belt buckle. Then my father attempted to talk to him in which th guy started to talk under his breathe acting as if he wanted to have a confrontation. We contacted uhaul in which they sent us to another facility. Once we got to the other facility the unit that was available was not the size like it was advertised. A 10x10x8 cannot hold a 1200 to 1600 Sq ft apartment or home unless you literally have to stack everything to the ceiling. So I had to get 2 storage unit in order to just simply pack up my 1069 Sq ft 2 bedroom apartment. The employees at this facility that provided the facilities were not helpful at all and I made a comment stating I would never use uhaul again in which the employee stated I don't blame you. He over talked me as well Once I stated as an employee whybwould you say that and his response was laughing back at me. I asked if there was any discounts due to this not being my fault due to false advertisement on proper storage of Sq ft and he said not at all and he doesn't know where uhaul as a company get there measurements from basically insulting uhaul. Word and quote ""uhaul thinks every apartment is very conservative on what's in people's homes and doesn't understand what people may have."" Now instead of me paying 124 a month for a storage unit I'm now forced to pay 300 a month for 2 storage units! I will never be using uhaul again after I move officially in April or may time frame. Absolutely the worst experience I could have.

Not to mention: i only could access my belongings at designated times. also i felt they chose the worst position to store my belongs whereas not only walking up a flight of stairs but way in the deepest harder far corner of the facility. in closing: i've never caused any issues, never missed a payment, never had a late payment, and i'm always on time. & as far as recommendations: not even my worst enemies. & this is how i spend my hard earned money, thanks!

A u haul driver named Jerome also backed up into my personal vehicle while he was trying to park his car and proceeded to get out of his car and cuss me out. Once i told the U-Haul office this they did not seem to escalate the issue. Terrible experience and i will never be using U-Haul again.

It put me in a bind and I had to come out of extra money a month. Nonetheless, the staff was friendly, the unit was clean and they never tried to scam me. I had this unit for a year and never really had issues, only dealing with payment. If I ever moved back to Fort Worth, I would move back to the same Uhaul.
